  1. This is why some contracts should be performance based. Why does he need to show up on time to meetings and be a hard worker when he gets his 100 mil either way? Makes a person just put in the bare minimum effort. If it's not the Bills paying him someone else will. We won meaningless games that year. 1 more L and we would have had Cam Newton. Keep that in mind this year when we are 4-9 and people are cheering for us to win out
  2. He's probably saying that because there's already a thread discussing this and the Rosen threads were all sent over to the college forum
  3. Read my post in your other thread. There is exactly a 0% chance McBeane goes for a jerk like that. Whoever they get at QB is going to represent their entire tenure here. They aren't going to risk their jobs on someone they don't believe in and who doesn't fit their philosophy. Also Beane has already says he wants a big QB. He puts a big emphasis on size. He said ideally someone 6'5" so they must have Allen or Rudolph in mind
  4. I know people who have had some success, but it's always short lived. They might build up their network but a pyramid by design can't stand without the base and the people at the bottom who have no success (the majority) quickly drop out and so on and so forth. It's not a sustainable model. Plus they are super annoying people, always selling crap to friends and family. It's embarrassing. If you want to retire young then get a good job, live like a poor person, invest 70%+ of your income (401k, IRA, real estate) starting in your 20's, build up enough passive income to replace your salary and all expenses, step away and retire early. So many people say I want a raise but they never say I'm going to stop spending money on junk I don't need. You don't need more money, you need to stop spending the money you already have!
  5. Jackson's throws are all over the place. Not NFL level accurate. He will always be a runner first, passer second. That won't fly in the NFL, especially since he's built like a toothpick. I think he's fun to watch in college but those plays don't translate well to the next level
  6. He's an a-hole. Not a McBeane guy
  7. The Rochester Roos sounds like a good fantasy team name
  8. I think it could happen. Garrapolo's contract is up and they either have to sign him to a big long term deal and make him the starter or let him walk. Brady said he wants to play maybe 5 more years but he might not get the chance if he keeps playing like that. Belichick is cut throat. This could be Brady's last year (yesssssssssssssssssssssssss!)
  9. Sounds terrible. I'll take Buffalo weather any day of the week. Good luck
  10. I've never met a Pats fan in my life that was a fan before 2000. Let's see if they stick around post Brady
  11. Rudolph and Washington continue to impress. That would be something if we got Rudolph with our pick and then Washington with the KC pick. Rudolph gets knocked for the offense they run but they said tonight how he is a film junky and is a future coach in the making. That's the kind of interest and intelligence it takes to succeed at the next level imo. But studying tape and then putting it into practice in the game are what scouts would want to see. Can he identify coverages, makes calls at the line from under center, read the whole field, show proper footwork, move around in the pocket and make the throw? He checks all of the other boxes otherwise
  12. Yep you caught me. I just want my favorite team to be terrible forever. I come here every day and just wish they would lose every game.
  13. This actually might be true. They say the number of knee and hamstring injuries are increasing because the athletes are bigger and stronger and faster and their bodies can't handle it. McBeane and the analytics dept might be ahead of the curve!
  14. They meant to say farters. Doug Marrone likes farters
  15. We are either going to be the healthiest team in the history of football. Or this won't last. I guess we'll have to wait and see
  16. Super Bowl! Tyrod will win back to back to back and go into the hall of fame before he even retires
  17. They figured they had Tolbert and Taiwan Jones too. It will be RB by committee if Banyard can't get it done
  18. he will change it to #5 next year. currently being used by another player
  19. haha this is deja vu all over again. same thing happened in 2014 when they lost to a bad Dolphins team. everyone was freaking out saying how the Pats are vulnerable. they marched right on and won the Super Bowl. it's week 1. everyone needs to chill
  20. young rookie RB's are a dime a dozen. overpaying for a RB in today's NFL is dumb. Gilleslee, Karlos Williams, Jonathan Williams...doesn't matter who we have out there it would seem. one thing that would define each of the Bills teams throughout the drought is we always had a top name RB on the roster because we assumed we needed it because we didn't have a QB. look at players like Ajayi and Hunt and the kind of value they bring to the table. you don't need to overpay for RB's to get solid production
  21. exactly, only played 12 games. shared the load with Gileslee last year. needs a solid 1500 rushing 500 receiving to be worth that contract and has to show he can be the feature back for a full season now that he's old for him to be worth a team trading for him. did you watch the game last night? Hunt for KC makes 800k per year. only an idiot pays 8 mil per for a RB. plus now a 2.5 mil incentive bonus. is McCoy 10x better than Hunt?
  22. Don't get too excited. Pats lost week 1 in 2001, 2003 (to us), 2014. And then they went on to win the super bowl each time.
  23. Tom Brady loves balls.
