if the Bills thought any of those guys were any good then why would they trade down and not draft them at #10 is the point. they knew EJ was a "project" and wasn't going to be a high pick. they should have gone with their instincts on that one. we need a QB not another project

if the QB's were so good they would go #1 overall. teams don't mess around when there are good QB's by none of the QB's being top draft picks it shows the teams don't think very highly of them

this sounds familiar. bad QB draft class, let's trade down and then reach for someone. maybe we can get a LB in the 2nd with our extra pick

If Watkins goes then Whaley goes. As good as Watkins is, right now he would be considered a bust because we used 2x firsts on him and he can't stay on the field. He should be in the pro bowl by now to be worth that kind of ransom

There is a BIG difference between using what is essentially a throw away 6th round pick vs using your top 10 overall pick when it's already known to be a crappy QB class. We haven't had a contributing 1st round pick in ages. One of the many reasons we are still a bad team

It would be very Billsy to waste a first round pick on a QB in the 2 worst QB draft classes in the past decade

yikes this thread went off the rails pretty quickly. not sure how anyone can judge someone with legit brain damage (CTE). do you make fun of people that are mentally challenged as well? i remember this kid doing pretty well in Hard Knocks. i think they wanted to see a little more out of him and he just basically ran out of time. training camp is only so long and theres only so many reps to go around. hopefully he can pick up where he left off and maybe he will be a player in this league.

Not too many sure thing players in the draft. If you can get good trade value then trade down! If not then don't.

Miller was serviceable and even did admirable vs Suh. Mills was a train wreck. Wood didn't have a great year before getting injured so hopefully he comes back strong and we actually get a real RT in there. Why is it so difficult? Are RT really that hard to find?

i just can't imagine San Fran not picking up a QB. new coach that was a former OC and there's no QB on the roster. if they do then there could be a run on QB's which means the talent falls to us! we have our pick of S or WR, two of our biggest needs. i think teams will reach for RB's too. this is one of the most talented groups in a long time but i just don't put that much value in RB's. Fournette, Cook, McCaffrey all have a chance of being top 10 picks. using those 2 assumptions we can get someone really talented at 10 or better yet trade back and still have our pick of one of those top guys at 15-20. every time i do one of these there's still great players like Corey Davis available at 20
