  1. Translation: this place isn't a complete dump like I thought, sometimes I even stay here on the weekends. It's "like home" as long as you are paying me millions of dollars to be here otherwise peace out
  2. I don't think the Bills very well at all
  3. Russell Wilson was a scheme QB, played well within a run first type of attack. Then they gave him the big contract and wanted him to be the franchise guy that throws for 5000 yards and that's just not him. I don't know why they got away from what they were doing in the run game. They were one of the few teams that strategy worked for because their defense was so dominant. I can see Sherman's frustration. But I still don't like him
  4. Jeez this guy was on top of the world just a few years ago. Leading Oregon to one of the top programs in the nation. Belichick calling him to pick his brain because he was seen as an offensive genius. Had his pick of NFL jobs. Led Philly to the playoffs. He got greedy and wanted to be HC, OC, and GM and I think that was his downfall. Then he went to SF which was an absolute mess post-Harbaugh. Now can't get a HC job? And Marrone went with Hackett over Chip in Jax. That's crazy
  5. Austin Rekhow is my guess. Because it's in the title of the YouTube vid
  6. i would like to think McD will be better but we have no idea yet. we can't say one way or another. once the bullets start flying and the pressure is on, who knows what will happen

  8. those are the same qualifications i use to find dates on match.com
  9. I'd rather be the Browns for a few years if that means we are going to possibly get a Super Bowl/HOF caliber QB
  10. And Zay is on the sidelines so how can any of you talk. This is an important time for all rookies. It's already a big jump from East Carolina to the pros and add to that he's not on the field to learn the offense. Good thing they signed Streater
  11. he was obviously overdrafted but he will catch on with another team and be good LT depth. i think Jerry Hughes ruined him. hearing about how he was just abusing him in practice after he was drafted had me lol'ing. he was running right by him like he wasn't even there
  12. he is the next Matt Cassel and Ryan Mallett. when will people learn that these players are performing well within a SYSTEM and not neccessarily because they are good players
  13. didn't see that one coming. was there a possible suspension in the works for Kujo for them to pull the trigger on cutting him? we are so desperate for Tackle help i would have thought they would have done whatever it took to keep him
  14. if you are an "old man fan" then wouldn't you want to see a Bills championship in your lifetime? at this rate we aren't going to get there. hopefully you are in good health and taking your vitamins and getting regular exercise. my grandpa is 93 and he might not ever see another Bills playoff game let alone a Super Bowl. there's 20+ yr olds with their own kids where now it's 2 generations of not knowing what a playoff game looks like. the title of this thread is about how there are not any franchise QB's in 2018 and that's ridiculous. Josh Rosen is a future pro bowler. Sam Darnold looks like he will be too if he has another year like last. we can't miss out on more sure thing guys like this. we did in 04 when we failed to get Manning, Rivers, or Rothlesberger. 2018 might be a repeat of that unless we do what we need to do to get one.
  15. i've heard a lot of negative things about Rosen. before you believe that stuff read this: http://thelab.bleacherreport.com/a-beautiful-brash-mind/ the guy is going to be a star. reminds me of aaron rodgers. and we are going to miss out on him because we are picking 10-15 and even with an extra first in the 20's we can only move up to around 5. probably going to the 49ers. we are going to be 6-10 forever
  16. Haha I think he means how they traded up for Julio Jones. but that's a once in a generation type player. I remember watching the combine and I was trying to decide whether or not Julio was human. the guy was off the charts. Watkins was just considered the best young WR out of a group of really good WR's. we had a lot to choose from that year. Mike Evans, OBJ, Benjamin. trading up that year was beyond dumb but I guess the OP's point is that there wasn't really anyone good available the next year at our pick but then you just trade down and get more picks imo
  17. he's rich, why play hard? you have to be careful who you give the big contracts to. some people would rather put on a captain hat and smoke dope all day than work out
  18. i want to see him waving that flag and leading the charge and have the scoreboard flash "THE JUICE IS LOOSE." if we want more primetime home games we have to be daring
  19. we were optimistic with Gregg, we wanted to be optimistic with Mularkey, then we had to pretend to be optimistic with Jauron, then we were pesimistic with Chan, then some were optimistic again with Marrone, Rex we weren't too optimistic but hey more publicity for us. you can only go through this so many times before you are jaded by the entire process. every 2-3 years a new regime. show me some wins and then we will get on board
  20. they should put a WLB HELP WANTED sign in front of OBD. probably get better applicants than what they are going to scrounge from the junk pile of FA's
