  1. Does your wife know?
  2. can't teach size and strength
  3. Get Peyton Manning in his prime and it doesn't matter because he changes the play at the line ("OMAHA!")
  4. i remember seeing him in elite 11 and he was the total package. hopefully he can find success at his next stop
  5. I posted this in the other thread: based on where we pick and his size it does make sense. i think he is going to have a hard time breaking away from the stigma that surrounds the type of air raid offense they run at osu. he reminds me too much of a Bryce Petty who in a similiar offense put up good numbers in college as well. it's a big change to go from that to a pro style under center and have proper footwork and technique vs being in the shotgun and locking in on 1 read and just letting it fly quickly. Rudolph is going to have to prove to scouts that he can work in the pocket and make proper reads and progressions before someone takes a 1st or even 2nd round chance on him. but man, he does LOOK the part doesn't he? big strong QB with a lot of starts under his belt. the scouts are just really going to have to put him through the paces before taking that kind of chance on him
  6. yep, and think of all that talent that will fall down the draft due to teams reaching for Qb's. we might not even have a position player taken until 4
  7. I don't think we are taking a QB early and here's why: 1. Darnold 2. Rosen 3. Allen (Indy trade with Jets, Broncos, Cards) 3 QB's off the board right off the bat. We could also have 3 others taken before we even pick (Mayfield, Jackson, Rudolph). Lots of QB needy teams and not enough QB's to go around. The Bills might take a shot late in round 2 or round 3 on someone like Lock or Falk but i don't think anyone besides the top guys will pan out. Rosen is my #1 and is by far the most talented. Everyone else needs work before they start but how often do teams picking at the top let their new prized QB sit and learn? hardly ever. i think all signs point to us taking a veteran and then maybe a QB project later on

  9. i'd rather have the best team
  10. that's true. things do change and you might be on record as saying one thing but then it changes and people can look back at what was posted before and assume you are wrong even though your current is different
  11. shame on the Bills for giving a man with issues that much money with no strings attached. Marcel is who he is. he will do better in a supporting role where he doesn't have the pressure of being "the guy" in Jax. he is just one of many now
  12. his "source" also told him Shady was out for the Jags game so take this with a grain of salt. if it happens i will be impressed
  13. Relax. We know by watching him play and we know from the scouting reports. He doesn't make NFL type throws in his offensive system. He will have a lot to prove to scouts before the draft
  14. you have that backwards. Washington is the 1st round talent and will probably be gone before we pick. Rudolph probably a 2nd rounder just due to his prototypical size but i think his offensive system and his acurracy and arm stregth will hurt him overall. he does look the part though
  15. his performance on sunday made Blake Bortles look like an upgrade. bye Felicia!
  16. didn't watch it but man that was pretty gutsy to pull your star QB at halftime of the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME to put in a freshman with little to no experience. although not many backup QB's are the #1 prospect in the country coming out of high school. but still, pretty ballsy to do it in that situation with your season on the line. that could have gone very badly and then people would have gone nuts on Saban. lucky for him it worked out and they have a star in the making it's funny, the reason i didn't watch it was because i knew what type of game it would be by 2 rushing teams with good defenses. aka a BORING game. funny that they flipped the script on me and it turned into a passing attack in the 2nd half with an exciting young player leading the team. if advertised as such that's a game i would watch
  17. Rosen is the best of the bunch...but of course his coach is going to say so. No big news here
  18. meh i dont like his release and i didnt see any nfl type throws where he plants and lets it rip on a 15 yard out, just broken high school type plays where he chucks it down the field as far as he can. i'd have to see more tape. he certainly has the gift of size and is pretty allusive for someone so tall. definitely a lot to work with. i'd like to see proper footwork, get that ball up higher, get your shoulders turned and step into the throw. he just kind of wings it sidearm across his body. i watched the Simms boys coming up and they didn't turn into NFL stars like people thought they would be those guys had nice technique and used to let it rip all over the field. it was fun to see
  19. I'd show her my Johnson chart
  20. it was the deepest WR class with a bunch of 1st round wr talent and you have tons of holes on the team. is 1 WR really going to make a difference when you don't have a QB who can throw him the ball? it was dumb then and it's even more dumb now that we know the outcome
  21. Mike Evans, Beckham Jr, Benjamin, Landry...and the Bills TRADED UP for Sammy. if you are taking a WR in the deepest WR draft class in history then trade back and take 2 of the above!
  22. i saw that the other day. that's embarrassing
  23. he has amnesia. he woke up and thought he was a QB and the doctor said oh no, it's worse than we thought! too soon? honestly i hope he's ok. class act all the way and i hope the best for him at his next stop
  24. the big factor will be WHO IS THE QB? i could be a good coordinator with Peyton Manning under center. and if i had a QB like Tyrod who can't complete a pass to a WR to save his life then not so much
