  1. I believe it. They probably have it down to a science by now so players will never get caught. Looking back we were foolish to think he had a shot without doing it!
  2. They would regret it when players start having kidney failure or drop dead among other crazy side effects (roid rage and depression, shriveled testicles, breasts, acne). If it's going to be on the honor system but steroids are still illegal in the US there's going to be issues like any other drug where you are dealing with shady drug dealers and who knows what they are selling you. Not to mention there's certain protocol you have to follow when taking it and a teenager or young person might not do it correctly and have issues. Also steroids are super expensive. Like thousands of dollars per month. Where are young people going to get the cash? Then you run into issues with boosters giving them money for roids or kids stealing or getting in deep with drug lords over money. Too many things can go wrong. It's like opening a can of worms. Steroids are illegal for a reason imo
  3. Or Watson will be a bust. Could go either way at this point
  4. My brother played D1 baseball. Didn't take anything, not even protein shakes. Guy he grew up with was taking HGH and probably other things. My brother was a better player but the other guy was drafted based on intangibles (size, strength) and perceived higher ceiling. Neither made it to the big leagues but is it fair that this other guy who was cheating got drafted and my brother didn't? Should my brother have taken steroids? Now you are on a slippery slope where you are basically telling kids if you want to make it you have to juice. A-Rod is remembered as an A-hole for cheating but he has $500 million is his bank account so it worked out well for him if you ask me.
  5. Haha he watched that game and saw Houston had no QB's and said YES that's where I want to sign!!
  6. Well there's that are there's also:- not a lot of successful short QB's - not a lot of successful QB's from spread offense - not a lot of successful QB's who were walk on - not a lot of successful later round QB's (possible mid to late round pick) Add to that what you said that 19% make it in the NFL. I haven't heard that stat but if that's true I'm taking my chances on someone tall from a pro style offense in round 1.
  7. ^^we'll see! history is on my side with these types of cases. he was a longshot to make it without the character concerns. not pro material imo
  8. he was working out with Cushing. maybe it's just a coincidence! bodybuilders would LOVE to get those kinds of gains. you can't without juicing. it's 100% not possible. after you have been lifting weights for a while you plateau and you are lucky to gain a couple of pounds of muscle PER YEAR. 37 means he was juicing
  9. the Manziel comparison has been made by a lot of college football experts. he's a small guy that does well in a college spread offense, but that doesn't translate to the NFL. also, he's a loose cannon off the field and likes to party. after what we saw from Manziel, i wouldn't be surprised if some teams took Mayfield completely off their board. What are Josh Rosen's character concerns? That he had a hot tub in his dorm room and he likes to read and talk about politics? Otherwise he's a stand up guy from a well-to-do family and was the top rated QB in the nation coming out of high school. Mayfield wasnt' even recruited, had to walk on, quit school because he was being a cry baby about the coach not guaranteeing a starting job for him (who is ever guaranteed a job?), transferred without even talking to the coaches involved and had to sit out a year (poor judgement), and he was tackled by police trying to run away after public intoxication (the typical weekend for him I've heard). Mayfield is an arrogant little poo. I'd be surprised if he even made an NFL roster let alone be a starting QB in this league guys like him and Manziel and Chad Kelly don't make it in professional sports because you have to be just that...professional
  10. Buy - SHADY. IF this guy stays healthy he could have close to 2000 all purpose yards, realistically 1800+ or so. i say IF because that's a big work load for a 29 yr old back who has already had a ton of carries in his career. but they want to feed him the rock and if he stays on the field he will put up some stats and now he has the incentives to do it $$$ Sell - Tyrod, no way he keeps up this kind of pace. his WR's aren't that great and teams will learn to take away the TE if they continue to go there. he is who he is and he can still hurt you with his legs but he's not going to throw down the field in the 2 min drill to win you games. Hold - Hughes looked fast and was getting in the backfield but they were throwing the ball quick to take away the pass rush so he wasn't able to get to the QB. if a team doesn't employ the same kind of strategy, he's going to get there. so let's not knock him for not having any sacks in a while. it's not due to lack of effort
  11. He absolutely will not be a 1st round pick lol. He is very much Johnny Manziel 2.0 and teams won't make that mistake again. I know people around OU and he's a drunk and a jerk and he's definitely not even 6 feet tall. I wrote that before the Ohio State game and maybe that bumps him up a little and if he plays well rest of year he might be 2nd or 3rd round pick because teams are dumb and desperate. It will 100% not be the Bills though. You think McBeane would stake their careers on a guy with character concerns like this at the most important position? There's no chance.
  12. Laron Landry and Shawn Merriman don't think so either!
  13. I can't even consider it. It makes me sick to my stomach trying to imagine what it would be like
  14. I used to dread football practice, especially the two-a-days. I wish we didn't have practices. By the end of the week we were so beat up that the game was the easy part.
  15. so the Bills go 3-0 and we win the super bowl? i didn't know that's how it works. last time i checked it was a 16 game season. being 3-0 tells us what being 1-0 vs the Jets tells us: next to nothing
  16. Trent got us to 5-0 and we still missed the playoffs. we won't know...until we know. ya know?
  17. if the secondary is thin maybe they just need to hit the weights?
  18. "POWER" rankings make me laugh. especially after week 1. like any of these nerds that wrote this stuff have any idea after 1 game https://media.giphy.com/media/BdAn5S0xigpO/giphy.gif
  19. a win is a win but it was just the Jets. using that game as a benchmark for anything would not be wise
  20. Doug Marrone single handedly made up for the lack of punts in that game in his 1 season with the Bills
  21. Not too shabby! On a 3 and out he makes about the median income for a family in buffalo
  22. there's more posts on this than there are DB's
  23. i'd like to see Marcel's pay per snap. it's probably triple what a normal person makes per year every time the QB says HIKE
