  1. At this point I believe it. I think they know Browns like Allen and we like Darnold or Allen so the teams at the top are jockeying to get someone to trade the farm for their pick, if not they will be happy to stay and make their selection. I very much believe they want Barkley and don't want to trade back and miss out. My ideal draft: 1. Allen 2. Barkley 3. Mayfield 4. Chubb 5. Darnold 6. Nelson 7. Trade with Bucs, 12 and 53 and maybe another late pick, Rosen is best QB in the draft and this would be amazing value and take the decision out of their hands if nobody before here is willing to trade. 22. LVE, LB Boise State 56. DJ Chark, WR LSU 65. Rashaad Penny, RB SDSU We want Cleveland to take Allen, get that potential bust off the board. That allows Darnold to fall. I think that is who the Bills want but I don't like his mechanics. Bills try and get him at 4 or 5 but nobody trades with us so Denver grabs him. Rosen is left and maybe they don't like him as much as the others but that is amazing value and is a no brainer pick. Then at 22 we get our MLB. 56 we get our deep threat. 65 we get Shady replacement (this is shady's last year if so).
  2. As long as Giants don't take a QB we are fine. Mayfield or Rosen at 7 would be amazing value and a high likelihood of getting the best QB in the draft anyhow by default. This actually takes the decision out of their hands so they don't screw it up. By the rumors it sounds like a safer pick than what they might be looking to do by trading up anyhow. If they gave up all of those picks to get to 2 and take a potential bust like Allen I think the fans would have a meltdown
  3. So we should draft him BECAUSE he only has 1 hand?
  4. I have no idea after the top 7 or so. I know the 4 QB's and the top 3 position players. After that it's anybodys guess. I think Fitzpatrick and James are the 2 best safeties in a long long time. I think they will come off the board early right after the top 3 of Barkley, Chubb, Nelson. Ward is very nice at CB as well. That should probably be the top 10 but teams have specific needs so who knows
  5. This is still the only guy that links Rosen to the Bills. Starting to think this is BS. Makes me sad
  6. That must mean we are drafting Lamar Jackson! Connect the dots...
  7. The best thing about ending the drought is no more talking about the drought. We can make real football decisions. Not decisions just to get us into the wild card to break the drought
  8. I think there is a difference between scouting position players and scouting QB's. I'm not convinced the Bills have anyone that knows how to scout QB's. I'd love to be proven wrong but who on their staff is a QB guru? It's not OC Dabol, he has coached some of the worst QB's in league history. It's not Beane who admittedly had nothing to do with the drafting of Cam Newton. It's nobody that was here last year when they took Peterman or in 2013 when they took EJ. I'm not sure they know what a good QB looks like
  9. He's up all night and acting iradically. Given his history as a known coke head while clubbing in Miami, it fits the bill. At the very least he's being an a-hole trolling on Twitter and not acting professional. Fires his agent on Twitter, retires in Twitter, trolling the team on Twitter. Is he a 34 yr old man or a 16 yr old girl?
  10. It's usually the new people that do stuff like that and they are never around for long. If they add value to the forum and do the right thing they will have a better chance sticking around and gaining respect from fellow posters
  11. I'm trying to talk myself into it. I'm having a hard time. This is the best I can come up with. I want Rosen but I do believe they are scared to invest in someone with his injury history and they would want someone more mobile. I would believe it if someone said Darnold and Allen were their top guys. Makes me scared, been watching a lot of film on both trying to figure out why. It's giving me migraines
  12. all of which is being discussed in those topics
  13. i'll be the thread police, the thread military, the thread illuminati all roled into one. we don't need 7 topics on Dez Bryant
  14. too bad there aren't any other threads this could have been posted in
  15. in other news, if i decide to make a career change and go into the adult film industry, i think "Dick Drew" would be my new stage name
  16. what gives me hope is the 2nd half of the Senior Bowl and the wow factor of the combine and pro day. no other QB makes you go wow when they throw. it's impressive to see. his footwork looks improved since working with Jordan Palmer. it makes me think he is coachable and maybe he just hasn't had good coaching yet. all of these other guys have been going to the Elite 11 and Manning passing camps since they were teenagers. Allen was busy digging irrigation ditches on his farm. could he be a diamond in the rough? it's so unlikely that it makes me nervous but the only thing we can do is hope and pray the Bills have someone on the staff that knows how to put a QB through their paces to see what they are really all about
  17. Dick Drew? wtf is happening around here McCarron is so great that they had Dalton stinking up the field and yet there was never a QB controversy in Cinci. Think about that for a second. Also it came time for free agency and nobody wanted him so he signed on here as an afterthought making a minimal salary. And now you want to sit out the best QB draft of the past decade because MAYBE our 5th round QB's MIGHT be good even though the likelihood of that is probably about 5% of a chance
  18. true but he was ready. Favre just kept retiring then unretiring and after doing that twice the Packers were finally like no we don't want one of the best QB's ever to play for us anymore, we think we have just as good of a QB in Rodgers and he has been ready to play for a while. also Favre definitely did not help in his development, he was a jerk to Rodgers the whole time seeing him as a threat. that's probably why he retired and then unretired. he wanted the Packers to say we want you more than Rodgers so it was like an ego trip.
  19. also, if i'm Darnold's agent i'm not setting up private workouts for every team that calls. think about it. if he's projected to go #1 and definitely in the top 5 then I'm not setting up workouts and wearing him out unless the team convinces me they are willing and able to move up to get him. there's only so much time before the draft, you obviously aren't working out for all of the teams. your arm would fall off
  20. you might be right. now i'm scared. big, mobile, strong arm, big hands, perfect for the Buffalo cold weather. also a project that some people project to be a 3rd rounder. yep, he is EJ Manuel
  21. They made multiple trips and brought multiple QB's to town, not to mention the scouting costs over the past couple of years to watch their games and practices. They have spent millions scouting these guys
  22. People don't consider how much money it costs to fly all of your front office out, put them up in a hotel, take everyone out to a nice dinner. A lot goes into these kinds of trips. I doubt they did all of that because they aren't interested in Sam Darnold. It's all a big smokescreen!
  23. Based on his tweets I'd say even if he wanted to un-retire, he wouldn't pass the drug screening. Sounds like he's on something. He's big into doing cocaine and a lot of his tweets were in the middle of the night
