  1. Enough of this taking a QB late as if it was an afterthought. Get a GOOD QB please. 5th round QB's are available in the 5th for a reason
  2. They will try and build up a team without a QB. We've already done that for 20 yrs and it doesn't work. Just get a freaking QB!
  3. I'm surprised. Why didn't they get him last year if they wanted him? This year they had a top 5 pick to get one of the QB's in the draft. When will they ever get to draft that high again? Seems like a waste of money to sign Cousins. Unless they still plan on taking Josh Allen and think he will need 4 yrs on the bench but that seems crazy
  4. If TB threw 6 int's in his first 50 passes he wouldn't be in the NFL either. BB would bench him after 3 and cut him after 5. We aren't talking about some great QB. He was picked in the 5th because he stinks, he had to transfer colleges because he stinks, he threw some passes in the NFL and we could see that yes he really does stink, it's been confirmed and now we move on. If you want to develop someone get someone who is actually good and has a high ceiling
  5. but...he could be good...maybe... his mechanics are horrible. not sure how he got this far throwing like that. he worked with Jordan Palmer to fix it last year yet he's right back to throwing that way so that tells me there's no changing it at this point. you just have to accept it if you want the player and he has shown that he can be a good player. his ceiling isn't as high as someone like Josh Allen but his basement also isn't as low. he's likely to be a middle of the pack type QB. not exactly a screaming endorsement for what might be the #1 overall player selected in the draft. tough call for Cleveland. do they gamble and take the QB that has the potential to be a top 5 player or do you take the QB that has proven he's a player and has had success at the position? i'd personally take Josh Rosen but he apparently doesn't want to play for them so that only leaves those 2 guys. it will be interesting to see how it goes
  6. I wouldn't give both 1sts. I would give a 1st and a 2nd since we have an extra one of those as well. But 13th might only get us the 5th best QB and if they trade up and don't take a QB I might throw my tv out the window
  7. "you literally cannot make this stuff up"
  8. sad how it can end so fast. lucky for him he got to his 2nd contract and made some money. most guys don't make it that far. hopefully he comes back to buffalo and does something to stay connected to the team and the area
  9. Trade up plus bridge QB. We can get a Bradford that will put up better numbers than Tyrod plus have the rookie waiting in the wings for when he inevitably gets hurt. It's a no brainer. Paying 26 mil for Cousins is stupid
  10. He had 2 bad outings. Add in the playoff game and he only completed 44% of his passes with 6 ints and also 2 fumbles that we recovered. He throws an int on 11% of his throws! I would bring in a vet and also draft a QB and let them all battle it out. Peterman doesn't have the arm strength plus he spazzes out under pressure. I am highly confident he would be on the outside looking in if we actually had some QB's on the roster that could play.
  11. I think Jacksonville would be interested. He put up all of 100 yards on them. Who wouldn't want him?
  12. I'm shocked we wouldn't do a 3rd for Alex Smith. Seems like a no brainer. They must not have liked the player. Sounds like the new QB of the Bills will be Sam Bradford. Calling it now. No fake sources, just common sense
  13. Good QB's are mostly taken in the 1st round. Don't let anyone tell you different. Yes some guys like Brady and Dak slip through the cracks but that's like winning the lottery. The majority of guys are the guys we all know were good coming out of college. A thread like the one about Peterman and Tanner Lee had me cracking up. So we are to believe that the Bills future is in the hand of 2 nobodies? Kill me now. We know who the good QB's are who are coming out. Get one and take this seriously!
  14. The best way to get a QB is to draft your favorite one in the 1st round. Much much higher success rate and lower cost. This was the year to get a QB. We didn't have a team that was seriously going to compete. They didn't have to lose on purpose. I don't think they expected to win as many games as they did early on and before they knew it they were in the playoff hunt (mostly because of a weak conference). They tried to go to Peterman but he was historically terrible and public pressure was to go back to Tyrod and try and sneak into the playoffs. I would have been happy to stick with Peterman and maybe only win 1 more game and have a shot at one of the top QB's in the draft. It was fun to make the playoffs and break the drought but we are going to pay for it if we can't get a QB. We are stuck at .500 +-1 game until we do
  15. YouTube and form your own opinion. Don't watch the highlights. See if you can find full games. Sometimes you can find so and so vs whatever team and it just shows the passing plays. Those are the best Also try and disregard the "college" type passes (bubble screens, long bombs) and see if they can complete NFL type passes (out patterns, hitches, posts, fades). You want to watch their footwork and see if they have a quick release or a hitch and if they can work in the pocket or if they get scared and take off if there's any pressure. Good luck and have fun!
  16. that's the public persona. doesn't mean he wants people to see how he is at home just relaxing with the family. i'm a tough guy on here but at home i just want to put on a nice pair of uggs and relax by the fire with my model wife
  17. Brady finally gives people access to his life and they tear into his family. no wonder he is so private. i would try to be too if i was in the public eye
  18. that would be pretty Billsy start Peterman and go 3-13 and get the top pick in a draft where there are no QB's to pick. meanwhile there are probably 2-3 franchise QB's available in this one. the last time we took the top QB in a draft it was EJ in what is probably the worst QB draft class in history. can our luck be any worse?
  19. I watched the senior bowl and thought these guys look pretty decent except for that kid from Nebraska, he's horrible. If they are looking for "this year's Peterman" then i think they need to dream a little bigger than the absolute worst QB to take a snap in the NFL this year
  20. I said that last year and I got roasted. Yes we made the playoffs (barely) but at what cost to our future? There are 3 QB's at the top of the draft that will probably start this year and we could have had one of them. They really screwed up by trying to compete with a team that was bad on paper and realistically had no chance this season
  21. watch some of his interviews and you will know why
