Unfortunately for Allen there was too much time between the combine/pro day workouts and the draft. He wows people on the field but then after the buzz dies you start thinking logically about it and there's such a slim chance that he is successful that it makes him not worth the risk. I think if the draft was the day after the combine he would have gone #1

Benjamin Albright covers the Broncos and said his source told him their plan is to trade with Bills and target Ward at 12 and Hernandez at 22. Only way Denver doesn't trade back is for Mayfield or Darnold or Barkley or Chubb. Rosen is completely off their board and they were not high on Allen. They already have an Allen and his name is Paxton Lynch. Or maybe that's all draft smoke but it comes from a reliable source

That's fine. I trust myself more than him. We have the same number of drafts under our belts and I played QB for a decade and he played golf. Nothing personal towards him either. Maybe he can spot other positions better than me but I trust my eyes on QB

Nope I will not blindly trust a rookie gm on his first draft when he may or may not have any idea what a QB looks like. Does that make me less of a bills fan because I watch film, study stats, and trust my own eyes?

This sums it up: If Josh Allen succeeds, his GM will have outsmarted basically all regular humans and the entirety of math itself. He could succeed. And I could win the lottery. It could happen but it's highly unlikely!

Its either Mayfield or Rosen assuming Darnold goes 1. If they think Jets want who they want then it makes sense

i love when people say "Brett Favre did it" or "Tom Brady was a 6th round pick." literally 2 of the best QB's of ALL TIME and the only people ever to be successful from those situations. think of the 100's if not 1000's of QB's that didn't make it. there's literally like 30+ draft eligible QB's this year alone. it's crazy to think any of them will be a Tom Brady or Brett Favre

most recently he broke the news that Mayfield was in play for pick 1. then it was reported by espn and others the next day. he's also reported that Josh Rosen is completely off their board as well as the Broncos board. he was also first to shoot down any of the 3 team trade scenarios. i haven't been following him for too long but he has a pretty good track record apparently. very reliable.
