Too late now. This was the year to get a QB. Probably 3 guys that will be long term starters in the league. I don't know of anyone good coming out next year. It will be like the EJ draft all over again

Best seasons go to Bledsoe, Orton, Fitz. Hard to choose which of them was the best because Bledsoe played so bad the following season he was run out of town, Orton only played the 1 season then decided he would rather retire than come back, and Fitz just wasn't good enough to be a starter. If you think Tyrod was good then you need to factor in his running. That's not a QB. I'm ranking them as far as actually being able to throw a football

he was a sneaky good player at FSU as well. he didn't have the measureables at the combine but sometimes you just have to take the best football player and forget that stuff

I don't think they are re-signing many people since those aren't their guys. They have already said they want to build through the draft and get younger and cheaper players that fit their scheme

that is what the discussions now could be around. "hypothetically, if we take a QB would you give us your 1st and a player for Luck?" they will want a deal in principle and then wait until the draft to make sure they get their guy. it's likely that someone could trade up and get that player before so of course they need to hold their cards close to the vest
