  1. What makes everyone think the Bills know what to look for? What guru do they have on staff that knows what a QB looks like? Who do they have that will help mentor and nurture this draft pick? They are putting a lot of resources into moving up to get a guy but do they know what to look for and how to make sure they are successful once they arrive? Hmmmmmmm?
  2. Everything McBeane does is a 10/10 because it's part of the process
  3. Haha you might be alone in that assessment. Who is our QB?
  4. Hughes and or Lawson might be trade bait to help us get to 2 or 3. I really think Murphy is going to be a heck of a player for us
  5. Wow that is one heck of a team. We play them there if I'm not mistaken. I'll pencil in a L for that one
  6. That's a normal Tuesday night in the Orton household
  7. Doesn't take a draft analyst to come to that conclusion. Look at our QB depth chart and our recent moves. We need a QB
  8. He's talking about Will Compton. One of his best friends and we have an obvious need for cheap ILB's
  9. Only 1 test per year. Steroid cycle lasts 2-3 months so it's easy to juice up during the offseason and pack on a ton of muscle and then have it out of your system by the time they test you
  10. Some of the highlights from the press conference for those that missed it... "We will definitely move up and draft a QB and then we will win the Super Bowl" "Baker Mayfield is too short and we don't like when he grabs his crotch" "Lamar Jackson is a WR" "We are going to sign all of the top free agents" "Shady McCoy is on the trade block"
  11. The only players NFL ready are Rosen and Mayfield. One is 6 ft tall and a walk-on and one is 6'4" and a prodigy. The choice sees obvious. Anyone else you are taking a chance on
  12. It matters that's why he's also a high 1st round pick. As an overall prospect it doesn't tell the whole story though. You have to look at height, weight, pedigree, intelligence, arm strength, offensive system, mechanics, etc. Rosen bests him on most of those things imo and the opinion of many others
  13. He's been #1 to many scouts for a while now but did you watch the combine? He was far and away better than everyone there. He passes the "throws the football well while wearing shorts" test. Not exactly a reason to draft someone but it solidified what a lot of the scouts already thought, that he has a once in a generation arm talent. I don't remember any QB ever putting on a show like that at the combine. All of his throws had the wow factor
