He was not, we had Wallace who was much better and actually handedly beat out Dane for CB2 at the beginning of the year. In fact they would sometimes put in Siran Neal over Dane whenever Wallace had to come off the field. So we again we are going into a season vs the super bowl champs with Dane Jackson (who wasn't even as good as Wallace who also was not very good) as our #1 CB

in looking at those numbers, my first 5 thoughts - 1. we got a heck of a deal for Josh 2. Lamar Jackson is going to get overpaid 3. the Browns, Cards, Broncos are desperate/stupid 4. the Browns are really really stupid when you factor in that it also cost them 3 first round picks 5. Watson is a trash human being so how stupid are the Browns?

He lives there with his entire family and his kids probably like their school etc, it's not like he's hanging around outside the stadium with a sign like that one guy the Bills cut. "Will punt for food" 😂. He's either going to punt for them if they need him or nobody it sounds like. I remember Fred Jackson had to leave his family behind as they had already began school by the time he went to Seattle and that must have been hard to be away from your kids for the entire season

While the Bills do play with 2 high safeties a lot of the time they are actually primarily a cover 1 and cover 3 team with over half of their defensive snaps with 1 deep safety (Hyde). If you can't rely on your young corners then you are forced to drop Poyer back too to cover the deep halves which takes away one of our best ball hawks and play makers. If you are just running a vanilla cover 2 or cover 4 the entire game, a good QB like Stafford is going to pick you apart with Kupp and Woods sitting in the holes all game long. That plays to their strength. The ability to be versatile and mix up coverages is what keeps the offense guessing. If you know what you are going to see every play because you don't have corners you can trust it's going to be a pretty simple game plan: 10 yards and get open. It's like in baseball when you know the pitcher doesn't have a curve ball. The Bills should have seen White was not going to be ready and signed a veteran. This is hubris imo. They think our defense is so good and we are so great at coaching up CB's we can stick anyone out there and they will play well enough. We'll see. I think it's going to be a frustrating night

I'm so sick of the "we need him for special teams" guys. They kick it through the end zone on kickoffs (even when they shouldn't) and they rarely punt and when they do half of them are downed or touchbacks. Kumerow should not made it over Hodgins and Taiwan Jones is not a RB
