I would be fine with Allen if he is all that is left for us out of the top 4. If we traded a bunch of picks to get him at 2 I would be upset. The reason being that I think he has a long way to go and I don't think we have the structure in place to develop a QB and we don't have a bonified starter to lead us in the meantime. Mayfield or Rosen at 7 or more pro ready and that would also represent an amazing value. We would most likely get to keep pick 22 in that scenario

i definitely would. he's threatening to retire anyhow. if you can get a 1st round pick for him then why not? they have won without him and they will continue to win without him. for our sake i hope it's not to Cleveland for the #4 pick

WHICH QB DO YOU WANT? Don't worry about who picks where, who is being mocked to who, what round they are projected to go in. Let's say it's football tryouts and you are the coach and you get to pick whichever QB you want. Who do you choose? Choose wisely because if you are wrong, in 3 yrs you will be fired. No pressure. I posted this in another thread, but I think Giants have fallen in love with Barkley. I would be really surprised if they traded back now regardless of who Browns take. If that's the case we can lock in the first 3 picks now and it's best case scenario for us. 1. Allen 2. Barkley 3. Mayfield Then we look to trade up to 4 but I think Browns love Chubb. 5 is a possibility but I think Elway would take Darnold in that situation. At 6 the Colts were adamant about staying in the top 10 so they might just take Nelson there and be happy. 4. Chubb 5. Darnold 6. Nelson So 7 is where we would have our first opportunity to trade up. Give Tampa pick 12 and 53 and maybe a late round pick and get the best QB in the draft plus still have pick 22 to get a MLB. 7. Rosen 22. LVE What a 1st round that would be! Lock up the 2 most important positions on the team in the same round.

At this point I believe it. I think they know Browns like Allen and we like Darnold or Allen so the teams at the top are jockeying to get someone to trade the farm for their pick, if not they will be happy to stay and make their selection. I very much believe they want Barkley and don't want to trade back and miss out. My ideal draft: 1. Allen 2. Barkley 3. Mayfield 4. Chubb 5. Darnold 6. Nelson 7. Trade with Bucs, 12 and 53 and maybe another late pick, Rosen is best QB in the draft and this would be amazing value and take the decision out of their hands if nobody before here is willing to trade. 22. LVE, LB Boise State 56. DJ Chark, WR LSU 65. Rashaad Penny, RB SDSU We want Cleveland to take Allen, get that potential bust off the board. That allows Darnold to fall. I think that is who the Bills want but I don't like his mechanics. Bills try and get him at 4 or 5 but nobody trades with us so Denver grabs him. Rosen is left and maybe they don't like him as much as the others but that is amazing value and is a no brainer pick. Then at 22 we get our MLB. 56 we get our deep threat. 65 we get Shady replacement (this is shady's last year if so).

As long as Giants don't take a QB we are fine. Mayfield or Rosen at 7 would be amazing value and a high likelihood of getting the best QB in the draft anyhow by default. This actually takes the decision out of their hands so they don't screw it up. By the rumors it sounds like a safer pick than what they might be looking to do by trading up anyhow. If they gave up all of those picks to get to 2 and take a potential bust like Allen I think the fans would have a meltdown
