that's why it would be the Browns who would say we are getting ready to take player X but if you want to trade up with us and take someone else then maybe we can work something out. otherwise we will just take our guy. they could set this up as a hypothetical situation with plans to reveal their guy the day of the draft and if Bills want someone else then they will have the deal worked out already to swap the pieces around. i think by now all of the teams have an idea of who the other teams are targeting

You are right. The Jets GM Macagnan drafted Petty and then Hackenberg. I'm shocked he still has a job. But basically this was a desperate act by a desperate man. He figured any of the top QB's would be good enough and better than the other guys he drafted so he made the trade early knowing that was as high as he would be able to get. Unfortunately for him, that gives everyone else a long time to figure out how to out-manuever him. Everyone knows the Jets are taking a QB so the Giants can feel safe dropping below them to 4 knowing Barkley would still be there. So you get your guy plus picks. It really is a no-brainer if they can pull it off. Yes, but he was quoting his previous tweet that was specifically about the crazy trade rumors he was hearing so this was in relation to that.

he said it was a rumor he heard, but he did say "multi-team trade", which you would assume means at least 3 teams otherwise you would just say "trade." could even be more than 3 teams. said it would completely reshuffle the top 5 picks. all of the teams working hard to screw over the Jets perhaps? lol

Cleveland will need to figure out who they are taking. It all depends on that really. Beane or Gettleman aren't calling them and giving away who they plan on taking. They have to say we are taking Allen, but if you want Darnold before the Jets or Broncos get him then we can try and figure something out. Luckily Beane and Gettleman worked with each other and Dorsey has traded with the Bills last year as well as this year so they have an open channel there.

Rich asked him what he meant by that and Bucky said he wasn't going to name the teams involved but he said if it went down it would be monumental and completely reshuffle the top 5 picks of the draft. He said you sometimes see these kinds of multi-team trades in the NBA but not in the NFL. He said it was one of the QB needy teams that could jump up and get their guy and the other teams could also still get their guy plus some picks. Sounds like he is talking about the Bills-Browns-Giants rumor but he wouldn't say. Sounded like there might be players involved, not just draft picks. Rosen was the top prospect in cali as a youngster, better than Goff and Darnold and all of those guys. went to St John Bosco prep, one of the best football programs in the country. best QB in the nation coming out of high school. elite 11, all of that. he is the best QB in this draft and the best in at least the past 3 drafts
