  1. it's been coming for a while. it wouldn't be them taking Allen, it would be losing my faith in them by shunning all known analytics and picking someone because they are BIG. i'm fine with them taking Allen if that is all that's left. if they traded up to 2 for instance to do it when there are better players available then i can't support a regime that so far out of touch. it's fine, i think i'm too involved anyhow if something like that would affect me so negatively. maybe i just need to take a step back. like you said, we have been through much worse but i think at this point it's starting to take a toll. i'd love for sundays to be something positive in my life once again like it was when i was a kid watching the 90's Bills. those are some of my best memories. hoping for the best!
  2. that's only if they do something crazy like trade up for Allen and bypass Rosen. at that point i would lose all faith in this administration and at that point there's no use following them until the next regime. hopefully it doesn't go down like that! i don't think i can sit through another 2-3 yrs of waiting for these guys to get fired so we can do it all over again. i'll still watch the games (from home) i just don't need to be so involved in something with so much negativity surrounding it. still a fan, just from a distance. we'll see how it goes. cautiously optimistic that this regime isn't as bad as the previous ones
  3. thanks bud. i'll be hoping it works out for sure. this has been my team my whole life. it pains me to see them suffer like this. i think i would need to take a step back and watch from the sidelines for a bit though. i get too involved and then get let down. you never know though. maybe stats are for losers and all of that math stuff is nonsense! we'll see
  4. this tweet says it all, Allbright sticking with his sources: Dorsey trying to bait someone to trade up, it's all smoke. It's going to be Darnold
  5. done with the team, not kidding. at the very least i'll take a 2-3 yr break until this administration is fired. tomorrow might be my last day here
  6. Either way I don't think it matters. Rosen will be available at 5 as long as the Giants don't take a QB. I would be really really surprised if they did. Would be a slap in the face to Eli and the previous coach just got fired for that
  7. I doubt it. They are messing with people trying to figure out who the leaks are. It's going to be Darnold
  8. The Bills can right a lot of wrongs tomorrow by selecting Josh Rosen. It will be a franchise changing event. Don't blow this Beane
  9. They will only feel that way if they move up for Allen. There will be riots in the streets.
  10. Any mock that doesn't have us trading up is unrealistic.
  11. I think this is big news actually. By admitting they are not trading up prior to the draft means a move to pick 2 is unlikely. We have heard from many sources that Giants won't trade all the way back to 12 and miss out on the top guys. I always thought we would have to move up to pick 4-7 prior to the Giants being on the clock for our trade offer to be attractive to them. I think they will be picking a player at 2. They could accept our trade then trade back up but that is risky if the other team backs out so it seems highly unlikely
  12. How can an interview on a crappy show make you completely change your mind about someone you were so strongly against? You don't need passion and fire to be a QB. You just need to complete passes. Eli Manning won 2 super bowls and is probably going in the HOF and he has no fire whatsoever. If anything you want your QB to be cool, calm, and collected under pressure. Rosen has a good head on his shoulders, everyone knows that. This was a good interview but it shouldn't change how you feel about him as a thrower of a football
  13. It was reported that they might take Mayfield or Darnold. They didn't like Rosen or Allen. Benjamin Albright reported that Rosen is off their board completely. They also reportedly like Barkley, Chubb, Nelson but they also liked the idea of trading back with the Bills and taking Ward and Will Hernandez.
  14. 1. Darnold - Browns 2. Barkley - Giants 3. Mayfield - Jets 4. Chubb - Browns 5. Allen - Bills 6. How many trades will occur during the 1st round? 5 7. How many quarterbacks will go in the first round? 5 8. Of the Big 4 QB’s, who will be the last one drafted? Rosen 9. Which LB will get drafted first? Edmunds 10. Which player in attendance will fall out of the first round (1 point for every correct answer) Shaq Griffin, Kolton Miller 11. Will the Bills make a trade in the first round? If yes, with who and to where? (1 point for each correct answer) Yes, 5 from the Broncos 12. Who will the Bills take with their first pick? Allen 13. Will the Patriots trade up? Yes 14. Who will the Patriots take with their first round pick? Connor Williams 15. Who will the Dolphins take with their first round pick? Rosen Tie Break Question: Name 5 players the Bills will draft (most correct wins the tie-break if it occurs) Allen, Ragnow, Warner, Ballage, Dawson
  15. Unfortunately for Allen there was too much time between the combine/pro day workouts and the draft. He wows people on the field but then after the buzz dies you start thinking logically about it and there's such a slim chance that he is successful that it makes him not worth the risk. I think if the draft was the day after the combine he would have gone #1
  16. Congratulations on finally coming to your senses but you cannot just jump on the Chosen Rosen's bandwagon. A lot of us have been on for 2 years and the bus is full. Some sort of act of penance will be required before your sins can be absolved. Only then can you punch your ticket to the promised land
  17. It's from reliable media with inside sources. If its not real then it's misinformation distributed by the team on purpose
  18. You haven't been following the threads then. Cleveland not expected to move back. They want Chubb. Denver said they would. Benjamin Albright covers the Broncos and said his source told him their plan is to trade with Bills and target Ward at 12 and Hernandez at 22. Only way Denver doesn't trade back is for Mayfield or Darnold or Barkley or Chubb. Rosen is completely off their board and they were not high on Allen. They already have an Allen and his name is Paxton Lynch. Or maybe that's all draft smoke but it comes from a reliable source
  19. That's fine. I trust myself more than him. We have the same number of drafts under our belts and I played QB for a decade and he played golf. Nothing personal towards him either. Maybe he can spot other positions better than me but I trust my eyes on QB
  20. Broncos not moving until they are on the clock. Barkley or Chubb might fall and they will want to pick. Maybe even Darnold who they reportedly have as #1 QB They have also been linked to Mayfield
