  1. I'm talking more about our bigger UFA's like Mario Addison, Ike Boettger, Matt Breida, Vernon Butler, Jerry Hughes, Taiwan Jones, Efe Obada, Isaiah McKenzie, Siran Neal, Harrison Phillips, Emmanuel Sanders, Levi Wallace, Justin Zimmer. More than a couple of those guys might be on the Giants (or Dolphins if Daboll goes there) next year
  2. And the poaching begins. The Bills have a long list of UFA's that will probably find their way to the Giants. We joke and say Buffalo is the only NY team but if you are a wealthy 20 something year old you want to live in NYC, LA, Miami, or Vegas. NYC will be very enticing to a lot of our guys and those that aren't getting a lot of playing time here will get on the field a lot easier there.
  3. Ask Red Sox or Cubs fans - after you finally do win it all everything after that is not quite as fulfilling as the journey it takes to get to that point. The Bills are still a young team. Enjoy the journey. The ups and the downs. Then when we finally do win one it will be that much more special. A young Bills team lost the AFC championship game to the Bengals in 1988. As we all know now, that was just the beginning
  4. This season has been fun but it would be a disappointment if we don't beat KC on Sunday. The narrative will be that the Chiefs are our daddy and we don't have the team to beat them in the postseason and get to the Superbowl. KC is the new Pats. I think we just proved beyond any doubt that the 1 game vs the Pats in the wind was a fluke and they are not a team to be concerned with any longer. KC is the real threat and the whole offseason the question was how do the Bills beat KC and get over the hump. We will be in the same position we were last offseason if we don't get it done and take the next step.
  5. Right because you are there and you see how much work these guys put in. Or are you just going by what a salty fired coach said about his former team to make it seem like it wasn't his fault he's now unemployed? All of these guys work hard. Here's a vid from last off-season showing how they were all excited by how hard Tua was working. The difference is he's just not very good. If Josh Allen was as bad as Tua I think you would have a problem with how much golf he plays too. Josh was probably the 7th best QB this season by the numbers so why is he playing so much golf when 40 yr olds are playing better than he is??? No down time just football 24/7!!!!
  6. I'm definitely going to buy one of the old stadium seats and put it in my living room and have my wife kick it from behind so I can simulate being at the game
  7. Hate to break it to you but Josh Allen plays golf too! Flores is blaming his firing on having a bad QB plain and simple. He kept putting Fitzy in and the Dolphins had to finally get rid of Fitzy so he would play Tua. The rumors are that they are thinking if Houston hires Flores then Deshaun Watson will want to stay
  8. I'm assuming if you voted for the current regime then you have never run a business, studied economics, or even balanced a checkbook. You can't give everyone free everything, print endless dollars, and then expect everything is going to be ok. Where do you think the money comes from to pay for this socialist stuff? Do you see rich people selling their numerous houses and cars because they can't afford them anymore due to higher taxes? In fact rich people get richer during inflation because they own assets. It's nice to want better for those who are suffering, but you have to have an actual realistic plan and throwing fake money at the problem is not the answer. You guys live in a fairy land and it's very sad to see. I'm pretty much a centralist when it comes to politics. I don't care what you do as long as it doesn't impact me. I just try to have common sense, which the current clowns in office do not seem to have. Social media makes it worse because it gives a voice to people that we don't need to hear from. Growing up we were able to just ignore the stupid people. Now they are everywhere and they are all ganging up together. It's very sad to see. If you are getting your political advice from celebrities or people on Twitter then please just keep it to yourself because you fall into the stupid category previously mentioned. I don't see how anyone could support what's currently going on or try and spin it as good. You are so against the "other guys" that you just ignore the stupid stuff your own party is doing. Please - everyone just needs to use common sense. This is getting ridiculous.
  9. This is BAD for us. Colts lose but then beat Jax next week they are still in and playing us in round 1 instead of us playing Patriots. You really think Raiders beat Chargers last game to get in? What's more likely?
  10. Above all else, the Bills beat themselves yesterday by taking the ball out of Josh Allen's hands. When they drafted him, the ongoing narrative was that we needed a big, strong armed QB to throw it through the wind and snow. Well yesterday we had wind and snow and we were scared to throw it until the 4th quarter when we had no other choice. We couldn't stop the run, sure, but we only gave up 14 points. That's a game you need to win. I grew up watching the teams of the 90's win by touting a "homefield advantage" when opponents had to come to Buffalo. They couldn't handle the elements and weren't as prepared for the snow as we were. "Where else would you rather be than right here right now" was the battle cry. Coming to Buffalo in December and January made it almost unfair at times. I was young but I can't remember any games where the conditions were too bad for Jim Kelly. The weather wasn't great as Frank Reich put up 35 points in the 2nd half in the greatest comeback game. I can remember Andre Reed catching a TD pass over the middle and sliding across the snow/ice. When was the last time we felt like we had an advantage when the weather turned bad? As much as I loved those games of the 90's, this seems to be a much different team. How many of us were watching the weather report and dreading this game knowing there would be snow and wind? That doesn't sound like much of a homefield advantage to me. More like a homefield DISADVANTAGE. And that leads to me to my point. The Bills just invested $258 million into Josh Allen for the next 7 years. During this time, it's expected that the Bills will be building a new stadium. All indications point to the stadium being an open-air stadium across the street from the current stadium which is smack dab in the southtowns lake effect snow belt. After what I saw yesterday, it's never been more obvious to me that the Bills need to spend more money to build a dome. Are we really going to have possibly another decade of not passing the ball because of bad weather? Are we really going to have the opponent's kicker being able to read the wind while ours can't? Or the opponent running the ball down our throats? It seems pretty obvious to me... BUILD A DOME.
  11. We have printed tickets from Ticketmaster. Anyone know how to add these to a digital wallet? It says they have a chip in the printed tickets so they can be scanned but the Bills said no paper tickets accepted so this is confusing. From my Ticketmaster account it says these tickets can't be managed because they were printed and mailed to us so not sure how to proceed...
  12. It was Bills 56 Steelers 44 and then it jumped to 51 Steelers 49 Bills instantly at about 7am today. Did the mail in votes get delivered overnight again?
  13. This. If they stay at 30 and nothing weird happens with players dropping I think it is Asante Samuel Jr. McDermott was the D coordinator and secondary coach for his dad when he was making pro bowls. FSU plays zone. If McDermott has his way they will go CB and go with a familiar name he feels he can trust
  14. I told you guys Josh Allen wasn't any good. Let the Money Mitch era begin!!
  15. We just had an election where almost half of the country thinks it was rigged. If you want to legitimatize the results and shut the conspiracy people up then you shouldn't have any problem with a common sense law that says you have to show ID before voting. Technology is also available for biometric, iris, facial recognition. ID would be the least invasive. You can't go to a Bills game without them scanning your ticket. It's common sense. If you want to have another election where half of the country is rioting then don't change anything.
  16. I don't know anybody who wouldn't have empathy for a father stuck in jail. That's absolutely tragic. Hopefully he can get out soon and get back to his family. If he's saying that a specific law is impacting certain people more than others then maybe gun law education is the answer and he can help spread the word using his platform. What is his proposed solution? Bills fans want to support him and his family
  17. Not even a playoff team. I guess it was all about the $ afterall. At least he didn't just join KC or TB like all of the other ring chasers. I would have taken less $ to play for the local team in GB. Oh well, enjoy watching January football on the couch again 👍
  18. I like those first 2 picks a lot but you would have to trade up in both cases to make that happen. Collins gone by 15-20 once they see how big and athletic he is (a more active and instinctual Edmunds type) and Samuel gone by top of 2nd (small but proven, good pedigree). This is a draft where we need more guys at the top and less depth guys at the back. Those guys are both day 1 starters so I like it. Not sure what 6th or 7th round pick can even make this team this year or next anyhow so trade up!
  19. Of the teams reportedly interested, only Cleveland has that kind of cash. He will get to play his brothers twice a year. I don't consider them a legit Super Bowl contender but others might. Beane has not been one to get into bidding wars. I think Bills should focus on cheaper option like 1 year prove it deal for Clowney
  20. He's going to the Packers. He grew up there, it was his favorite team growing up, he played at Wisconsin, he has expressed a desire to stay in the Midwest, and they have the best chance to get to the super bowl next to Tampa
  21. Better to not have a strong pass rush vs Lamar. Make him beat you from the pocket. Set the edge and keep contain and maintain your lanes. That's why Shaq and Trent Murphy had such a strong game last year as that is their strength. Someone like Hughes or Addison, they are always losing contain trying to pass rush up the field or dip inside the block. Very frustrating. Hopefully they have Murphy active and I could also see the rookie doing well if he stays disciplined
  22. Telesco will be hiring Daboll. Both St Francis grads. He will do well with Herbert who has similar intangibles as Josh Allen. Bills OC would be a highly coveted opening but I think the Bills will look internally at Dorsey and Hall to keep continuity.
