  1. Yes I agree it's Josh and also the OC not holding him accountable. You can't go bombs away every play. Take 3 steps, throw the ball. I can't even count the number of times it's like 3rd and 2 and he's throwing it 40 yards down field when I see 2 guys open at the bottom of the TV screen. I think Kincaid will be a RedZone threat but for all of you guys that think he's going to be Beasley with 80 catches for 1000 yards then prepare to be disappointed
  2. Maybe but what I see is Josh Allen scrambling and whatever play they had called is off and it becomes a scramble drill with everyone focusing on Diggs. I haven't seen Josh do a 3 step drop and hit a receiver maybe ever, at least not since the height of Cole Beasley's career
  3. Agree with that. WR2 is still a problem. Teams at the end of the year doubled Diggs which led to him blowing up on the sidelines. Expect more of that this year
  4. He likes $$$$. These guys are all talk when they say they want to play for a contender. They only play for themselves
  5. Yes the Buffalo Bills fan forum is less biased. Got it, I'll just believe everything I read here from now on
  6. I see a lot of "I bet" and "hopefully" and "it's likely" when it comes to McGovern. Yes hopefully he's better and not worse. Both are possible outcomes. Too early to say our OL is any better let alone "vastly improved" and "leaps and bounds better."
  7. We have seen Bates and his body of work. We have trust with what he can do on this line because he has the years of working with this group. Bates played better than Saffold last year but is Bates a better player than Saffold? When their careers are over I don't know if anyone would think that would be the case as it stands currently. Saffold might have just had a bad year, might have had issues geling with the team, might have had injuries he played through. We will never know. I would not assume Dallas' backup G will step in and be leaps and bounds better. He played well for Dallas on an already dominant line. This is a different group, different scheme, different coaches. We'll see. He could be worse than Saffold which is just as equally likely but nobody wants to admit that.
  8. I don't think McGovern is a huge improvement, no. I think if he was so great he would start for Dallas or they would re-sign him for depth. He came here for a chance to start so we'll see. Hopefully he's better. He might be worse than what we had. Maybe Saffold just needed time to gel with the line. We'll never know.
  9. Not presenting it as fact. I said I don't think we are better, which is my well formed opinion, and everyone is saying I'm wrong because we drafted a backup RG and signed a backup LG to start for us in place of a guy who is well regarded by the league but had a down year. I don't see our OL as being vastly improved. I think they are trying some new pieces and we'll see. RB is definitely improved imo. Motor was a shifty change of pace guy. I never saw him as an every down type back. It was evident when we needed 1 yard and everyone knew we were running. We didn't have an answer for those types of plays and ended up running with Josh a lot of the time. Now hopefully we have some guys that can get the tough yards
  10. Possible...even likely. But not a fact
  11. Saffold has the body of work. Maybe he's declining or maybe he will sign with the Jets and run us over twice a year. It's weird to assume McGovern, who was not a full time starter and was not re-signed by his previous team, is definitely without question better than a multi time pro bowl guard. He might me, fingers crossed. We don't know
  12. I understand Saffold had a down year. I also understand he is a multiple time pro bowl player and McGovern is a 0 time pro bowl player. You might poo poo that but it means something to be voted in by your coaches and peers. They think Saffold is a very good player. McGovern may be too but that's definitely not a fact that he's better than Saffold until he shows it. He might be worse. The rookie has never played on the left. Ever. I'm sure they will train him up on that because they like flexibility but maybe he just can't do it. We don't know. To assume now he too is a better G than Saffold on the left is silly since he's never done it and I don't see him starting over Bates on the right unless they decide it's close and Bates needs to be backup C and not get injured. So it's not as cut and dry as everyone seems to think. You guys can give me all of the eye rolls you want but it's clearly just your opinion that we may be better on IOL but it's definitely not a fact. I think we are pretty much the same as last year on the OL overall. We still don't have a good RT and Dawkins had a down year at LT so he may be trending down. I do like the Murray and Harris signings. Low cost and high reward. I think they run harder than Motor did as that wasn't his specialty. They are better every down guys. And year 2 of Cook should be better than rookie year.
  13. The rookie only plays on the right side so he is the backup to Bates until we see otherwise. MCgovern may or may not be better this year than Saffold who is a multiple pro bowl veteran player, we'll see. People seem to be accepting that as a fact for some reason
  14. Some people have a brain and well thought out opinions that sometimes go against mainstream thinking. The world would be a pretty boring place if we all just get in line and think exactly the same way
  15. Sounds like wishful thinking
  16. You have him starting over Bates? Let the kid get on the field before you say his is better than what we have. Bills traded up for Ford a few years back and everyone here loved that pick too
  17. Safety I am counting our opening day roster vs this year. They added better depth with the guy from the Rams but starters the same. WR I disagree that we have improved until proven otherwise.
  18. How so? We have Bates and McGovern penciled in currently
  19. RB might be the only position group besides TE that we have improved at. Everything else is the same or worse. They really seemed to focus on getting some veteran help at that position this year.
  20. Kincaid has never played a down. He definitely doesn't solve the WR2 problem
  21. You guys are too much. "Whoever the Bills pick is the best player at that position in NFL history." If things work out well he's probably the next TJ Hockenson. Nobody is Kelce and absolutely not Gronk. He's the size of Gronk's right butt cheek
  22. Eagles got 2 pro bowl type players in round 1 alone. This list is a joke
