  1. back in the day they really did have off-season jobs. up until maybe 35 years ago they didn't make nearly enough to survive. a lot of guys were car salesmen if i recall hard to imagine with the crazy salaries they are making these days!
  2. Von's new house next door to Coach McDermott: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/16-Woodstream-Trl-Orchard-Park-NY-14127/54464589_zpid/
  3. If you are a dude that wants to meet another dude, there's an app for that
  4. The twist would be they could have a retractable dome and only open it for snow games and when it's closed they could have snow machines running. Every game could be a snow game! Alas, we don't deserve nice things. The way it sounds the day it's built this will be a middle of the road stadium and within 10 years it will be bottom of the barrel again. And we are the ones paying for it in taxes, PSL, higher ticket prices. Besides the upper decks possibly collapsing, I don't think there is anything wrong with the current stadium and I'm not looking forward to a new one
  5. No, I was waiting for the offense to do something. Everyone at that game was expecting fireworks and the offense did absolutely nothing almost the entire first half. Gee, I wonder why. Maybe because they didn't have the preseason to work out the kinks? And now there is a brand new playcaller and everyone thinks they should just skip the preseason again and roll into week 1 against the super bowl champs? Uhhhh
  6. Worked out well last year. The offense had no troubles finding their rhythm in week 1 right? Oh wait....
  7. Right Josh aka the Chosen Rosen. Finally Cleveland doing something right
  8. Murray will be playing baseball before the end of this contract. Cardinals will be paying him to go away which will give him the freedom to switch sports. After Rodgers the top contracts could end up being Lamar, Murray, Watson lol yuck
  9. Glad to see Josh might be getting some national attention for once. Excited to not have to watch Faker Mayfield commercials this fall. But why can't everyone try out for WR and then they choose the best one? I'd love to get paid to catch passes from Josh all day. Interesting that they have pre-determined to hire someone solely based on ethnicity.
  10. i think they are hoping the longer this plays out the more the media/fans lose interest in the story and put away their pitchforks. people have moved on to other stories like racist Sesame Street characters. it seemed unfathomable a month ago that Watson would play for the Browns this season. now it seems more likely that he will get a slap on the wrist and be back after their bye week. what a world we live in
  11. Duke was just giving him his helmet back. I'm pretty good at reading lips and he clearly said "you dropped this, friend." And Myles "Smollett" is race baiting scum, and clearly some people still think Rudolph actually said something racist towards him even though that is verifiably false. There's enough mics on the field to hear a mosquito fart. Garrett was suspended indefinitely for being a liar and assault with a deadly weapon and yet he was the Walter Payton man of the year for the Browns the next year! I'm sure over this next season we will hear how great of a guy Deshaun Watson is too. The Browns are disgusting.
  12. Gabe saw the viral pic with him next to Josh flexing and Josh was way bigger and clearly he wanted to catch up
  13. when i was a kid my dad would say do you want to go to Bills camp tomorrow at Fredonia? and then i would call a couple of friends last minute and we would all drive down and bring a cooler with snacks and a couple of things to have signed and just hang out all day within 20 feet of Super Bowl contending teams and future Hall of Famers. no tickets, no scalpers, no gates. now THOSE were the days!
  14. I got on right at 10:00am and I waited about 30 min then by the time I got in there July 30 must have been sold out because it was only allowing me to select 1 ticket and then when I did it freaked out and kicked me out. When I got back in July 30 wasn't there anymore as an option. I blame the scalpers and their bots
  15. Tried to get 2 tickets to 7/30 practice and it said only 1 remaining and so I tried to add that to cart and it freaked out and kicked me out. Are people really scalping training camp tickets? Jeez how sad Any idea when the Fri night practice at the stadium tickets will come out? That's what I was really hoping to get but they aren't on there. This is just for the SJF practices it seems
  16. ^^Did you just have a seizure? Do you need us to call someone?^^
  17. Poyer is good but...best overall? Sounds like someone needs a new contract and slipped some $ under the table on this one
  18. how could there be a lawsuit against the Houston Texans? every Browns fan/Watson fan online told me this was all a conspiracy started by the Texans because Watson didn't want to play for them anymore 🙄🤡
  19. Why did Josh have to keep leaving? Was it too hot or was he *gasp* hungover?
  20. I think we are way past the dutch tulip comparison at this point. Bitcoin has been around for over a decade and has survived numerous market corrections and is still in the infancy stages of being regulated and institutionally adopted. I think it has proven staying power. I think people are too caught up with how it correlates to USD and that might be the case for other cryptos but Bitcoin has a finite number and 1 Bitcoin always equals 1 Bitcoin. People need to start thinking like that and less about how much it's worth in paper money which can be printed at a government's whim to pay for it's social/political programs. Hello inflation!
  21. I was painting with a broad brush to make a point. Sure it is speculation but Bitcoin specifically is no more risky than a piece of art or an expensive piece of sports memorabilia. Like any such commodity (notice I didn't say currency), you need a buyer on the other end for it to be worth something. I can scribble on a piece of paper and it's worth nothing and Josh Allen can scribble on a piece of paper and it's worth potentially hundreds of dollars. Is the utility of his ink more impressive than what I produced? Or is it equally worthless but certain buyers are willing to give it a high value because they find it desirable to own? With Bitcoin there is a set amount of only 21 million and many thousands if not millions have already gone missing. There's 8 billion people in the world. If more and more people decide to buy, whether as a commodity, a currency, a hedge, or whatever, at some point people will have a harder and harder time getting someone to sell to them and then we are in a supply/demand situation. I personally see it as digital gold. The next guy might see it as better than USD (inflation anyone?) and easier to transact with online (internet/metaverse). And yet another person might see it as just something rare to collect. When I see people say it has no utility I laugh because it is more useful than most things people buy.
