  1. I'm even fine with some circumstantial evidence. A video of them looking upset after the pick as was mentioned would do it. I've never seen anything like that Or that they thought #26 was too high for a TE and they liked Mazi Smith better at that pick
  2. Maybe. I'm a "I'll believe it when I see it" when it comes to them actually utilizing him in an effective way. Seems like they draft these hybrid type guys and then don't use them like that. All last year we heard how badly they needed a pass catching RB and then they get Cook and Hynes and don't throw to either!
  3. Your view is fine, but it's just that...an opinion based solely on "I believe Beane." My contention is there is zero proof seemingly that Dallas had any intention on drafting Kincaid. Pretend this is a court of law. Let's see the proof. That's fine if they felt a certain conviction. I think it's nonsensical to say Dallas was definitely going to take this guy. I've seen nothing to show that at all just Beane saying he had a hunch
  4. I wouldn't put Kincaid over Knox. It sounds like Knox is the every down TE and Kincaid takes Morris' spot. Also Bernard starting at MLB I don't see happening. I'd say Dodson is the starter at this moment, which is a scary thought. Harris over Cook as the every down back. I think Quessenberry will be starting at RT at some point this year if not now. I see glaring needs at WR and MLB. I hope they are not done adding people.
  5. Post it or show me an article that says this. From what I have seen out of Dallas, they got their guy
  6. I didn't see it no, where is the video of this? I have not seen that reported either
  7. Show the tape of them looking mad when Kincaid was drafted. I've seen zero proof that is what happened except from Beane who is just trying to justify giving up a draft pick *again*, same thing every year
  8. I have no problem that they gave up a 4th due to their drafting record. I'm just saying people are posting it as fact that Dallas would have taken Kincaid and nobody knows that and it was never reported as being the case. In fact, they specifically said they had no TE higher than Mazi Smith so either they are lying or that's the truth.
  9. I keep seeing everyone saying Kincaid would have been gone like it's a fact. Based on what? Because Skip Bayless liked him? I've never seen one piece of evidence that Dallas was going to take him. Because Beane said he thought they might it isn't evidence. I think we lost a 4th round pick for no reason which I don't really care about because we don't need anymore 220lb LB's on this team
  10. And which of these guys is so good that they will draw the double team away from Diggs? The TE that gets open 5 yards down field? The backup WR's we signed in FA? We have Diggs and then just a bunch of guys unfortunately
  11. Teams are just going to double Diggs and he is going to get frustrated and blow up on the sidelines. This is going to be a trainwreck if they don't have another option
  12. What a collection of misfits this is. They get away with it by saying blah blah blah special teams. You need a bunch of bad LB's for special teams when they just kick it in the end zone or fair catch it half the time anyways?
  13. You literally believe Beane. What's the difference?
  14. They said they had the DT from Michigan higher than any TE which also means they probably didn't have Kincaid #1 out of the TE's. The only person that said they wanted Kincaid was Skip Bayless who has no affiliation with the team, he was just hoping they would get him as a fan
  15. Trade back. Could have had a very good TE on day 2. Many had the guy from ND or the guy from Iowa higher not to mention the freak from Georgia who is going to be a beast
  16. From what he said it sounded like they didn't think anyone else was worth a 1 if they were going to either trade up or trade back. Simple as that. I don't agree, there will be a ton of good TE's available tomorrow, but that's what they did
  17. They will say BPA but I think they are targeting LB and will probably try and move up again if they don't think their guy will last. I think they probably like Sanders. He's the typical Beane pick where he's a good athlete but not polished and he thinks he can be coached up
  18. Chiefs have Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. They can do whatever they want. Andy Reid has more creativity to get people open
  19. When you have 2 TE's on the line it's different than having a slot guy on obvious passing downs. If they think they are going to split him out then I don't know, I don't think he's that fast of a player to get open 1 on 1 with a nickel corner. It's not like he's a freak athlete, he's just a good athlete. I think he will be a good redzone option I just don't think he's going to be the every down guy that people are expecting out of round 1 guys
  20. Beane is so scared to be the next LA Rams. He forgets that the Rams went to 2 SB's and won 1. I would take a championship followed by a rebuild any day of the week. Playing safe gets you to the playoffs sure but when you are that close what puts you over the edge?
  21. 2 TE sets are for teams that like to do play-action dink and dunks down the field. I know Dorsey wants to do it (because that's what he ran in college and that's what he knows) but we have a QB that likes to scramble and throw it 50 yards down field. It's going to take a retraining of the way Josh plays to be effective in that style of offense and it takes the threat of the run (Damien Harris) to get LB's to sink in. Not that it can't work but those things are not a strength of this team in the past few years so the offense is going to have to change a lot unless they are thinking they are going to be able to split Kincaid out which doesn't seem likely since he's a 4.7 guy and not a 4.5 or better. What makes him effective would be playing him on the line vs heavy fronts and then him sneaking behind the LB aka goal line situations
  22. Buy any lottery tickets recently? You are on a hot streak Good analysis though, well thought out. Congrats
  23. Because outside of Josh Allen (which was an absolute crap shoot) he's had such great history trading up...
  24. Who is possibly there that a trade UP was necessary? I thought we would see them trade back
