When hurricane Fran went over Raleigh we were without power for 10 days. The community that we lived in did not wait for the city, state, or feds to come in and clean our streets. We got together and made it happen by ourselves. It went over on a Thursday (I think) and we were able to get out of our driveway and out of our community to go to work on Monday. The lack of power we dealt with in each our own way. The damage to our homes we mitigated by working together until the insurance company could come out and review. I think that if we had the equipment / knowledge we would have repaired our own power lines. We had such a response that city and state leaders came to the community and asked how we did it. DIB - tell me how many tarps you need and I will go to HD or Lowes and send them to you.

Isn't there a gondola-type ride over the gorge? Old Fort Niagara? The power plant in Lewiston? Doesn't Fisher Price have a museum in East Aurora? Wurlitzer plant in Kenmore? Braodway Market? What is the name of the cider mill in East Aurora?

Brandon - I have to take a bit of exception here with your comment that the other 3 DL are not doing anything against the run. Granted, while I don't think Tim Anderson isn't striking any fear into offenses - I thought that he played a pretty solid game. In fact, he did have a key sack Sunday.

Back down on the refs a bit there. There are 7 on the field and 22 players. Their eyes can't be on every player. Also, the refs are not fined for mistakes. They are graded after each game. Those grades are then used to determine playoff and SB assignments. If you think it is easy - get involved at the HS level and work your way up to NFL.
