  1. I found it interesting that with all the attention to the USC-ND game and all the alums from both schools in attendance that OJ was not there. On purpose?
  2. One thing that not too many people have brought up is how Tim Anderson has filled in nicely for R Edwards.
  3. Plus, Schaub doesn't provide the intangible ($$) that Vick does.
  4. Thanks Fez. I couldn't say it better myself.
  5. Back down on the refs a bit there. There are 7 on the field and 22 players. Their eyes can't be on every player. Also, the refs are not fined for mistakes. They are graded after each game. Those grades are then used to determine playoff and SB assignments. If you think it is easy - get involved at the HS level and work your way up to NFL.
  6. Holcolm could hardly get into his drop without getting pressure. MW and CV better heal up otherwise . . .
  7. What if this, what it that? What if it rains chicken wings during the game? Jeez, lighten up everyone. Maybe MM would like to have JP take a step back and watch. Period. Have you never just said "Wait, I want to see how this is done before I get too far."? Yes, KH could get pounded into oblivion. So could WM, EM, and the trainer. Yes, it would be nice if JP could take the team and just magically put the team on his back and take him (and us) to the promise land. Don't forget that the kid played at Tulane (not exactly playing against Big 10 or Pac 10 caliber talent) and has only played 4 full games. Jim Kelly, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Terry Bradshaw did not have immediate Super Bowl success. Take a deep breath all. Watch the game and cheer hard. And yes, I would like for the fish to be squished. But, I am not going to jump off a cliff if they don't.
  8. Now I can't get the tune out of my head.
  9. I know this involves needles, but what about accupuncture? I've had this done for some "ailiments" and it works.
  10. I think this is what I didn't like about week 4: i. J.P. Losman. There's a fine line between developing a kid and sending your season down the tubes, Bills. MMQB
  11. From the NFL web site www.nfl.com/fans/rules/fumble I have an copy of the 2005 rules at home. I will check them tonight.
  12. Bump. Nick, I wish you would respond to my PM.
  13. Manufacturing footballs Only one place in the world makes footballs - Ada, Ohio. I bet the ones with the White House logos are a tough catch.
  14. I have to agree about all the graphics at the top of the screen during Fox broadcasts. There is the current score and time on one banner, scores of games in progress in a separate window, a scrolling banner giving information about the current drive or some piece of trivia. Plus, the da#* sound effects. Just show me the game!
  15. Ronald Curry, wr for the Raiders, ruptured is achilles last year against us, I think. He re-habbed and was in the starting line up this season. Only to have the other tendon rupture in the first or second game this year. Could a change in the defensive scheme (3-4 to 4-3) be in store?
  16. #1 ailing badly and the #2 injured. Heard on Mike and Mike this morning that the Jets now stands for "just end the season".
  17. Spielman on sports (daily am talk show) 12:00 every day
  18. Isn't this why cities still insist on having the extra large buses for public transportation, rather than more efficient mini-buses? For use in mass quanitities of public evacuation?
  19. It amy come to that as they have suspended evac ops due to security concerns. From the rescuers viewpoint that is.
