Could it be because of all the money "invested" in the travel / select teams and the rush for the almighty scholarship dollar?

Been through that a few times when I lived there, and in Raleigh. I'll take Columbus OH anytime.

Co-worker forwarded this site to help determine what streaming service carried what channel. Might help all of us in the switch.

I'm leaning to deferring my fan card from the CBJ to the Sabres this season.

If this is what preservationists wanted to do with the structure they should have done it long time ago.
-
If this was to be saved or repurposed, why wasn't anything done? Declaring it a landmark and then letting it become an eyesore or a safety issue doesn't mean it should stay upright.

Good topic. I’m sure I’ll think of more but these couple popped into my head first.
Thurman cafe: Columbus staple, can’t go wrong with any but the Thurman burger is pure gluttonous bliss

Was sitting on the fan "border" last nite. Grew up with Sabres ST in the Aud. Have lived in CBUS for 20 yrs (!). That was a horrific display by the CBJ last nite. Sabres trending much better than CBJ.

Bob Beamon's long jump at the 1968 Olympics - improving the world record at that time (8.35 m) by nearly two feet (8.90 m). Since then, more than 50 years ago, only a single jump has been longer.
Great selection !!!
Greg Lemond winning the 1989 Tour de France by 8 seconds over Laurent Fignon
July 23rd 1989, the bout took place between Versailles and Paris in a 24.5 km time-trial. The gap between leader Laurent Fignon and Greg LeMond was 50 seconds. Greg LeMond knew he had nothing to lose and everything to hope for if he gave all he had. Alas, Laurent Fignon lost the Tour de France after a 3257 km race for 8 seconds, the equivalent of 82 meters. To this day, these 8 seconds remain the smallest overall gap ever between the Tour de France winner and the rider finishing second.

My sister lives in Jax Beach about 1 block from the beach. She estimated that about 8feet of the dunes, that were rebuilt not too long ago, were washed away.

I was watching the game when this happened. First thing that came to mind was Clint Malarchuk.
The size of gloves and the "gauntlet" have shrunk over the years. Look at old pictures. Some players wear kevlar "sleeves" for their ankles and wrists for protection.

Good to hear that he is feeling better. And take note everyone - don't put off that annual physical.

Exactly
The NFL rules over their refs. These clowns rarely if ever get disciplined. Hell, they hardly get graded. Nothing will happen. Swept under rug. Games will continue to be officiated by flawed people.
The officials are graded each week on every play. That is how the crews / individual officials are picked for playoffs / Super Bowl.
