  1. CBJ had some good pressure at times, but most of their SOG were from outside - Fluery didnt have to work hard on most of those. Need to steal the next one in Pitt to make this interesting.
  2. I'd like to know where in the terms and conditions of the ticket it says that the airline can use physical force to remove anyone from the plane when there is an overbook situation. If you're being an azz to the crew other passengers - let me help you get off the plane. But, for your screw up - NADA!!
  3. So guy in shower is confronted by homeowner. The two yell at each other. Homeowner gets gun from home next door and returns. Homeowner then shoots the guy taking shower. Why didn't the guy taking a shower get the heck out of there?!!? Applying conditioner??
  4. Clemson dropped their swimming program 5-6 years ago. Nephew was on partial scholarship. Bunch of the kids got together and created a triathlon club. Super successful.
  5. Like you couldn't find anything better to do with your spare time?
  6. MN - There may be no "cure". But, what recent research and developments have provided is individualized treatments based on genetics. The genetic mapping thing is where I see the biggest gain. Here in Columbus OH we have a bike ride that raises funds for cancer research at The James Cancer Center at OSU. Last year alone, over 7000 bike riders raised $24 million dollars - all to cancer research. The ride is completely funded by corporate / private donors. There was a great show this past Sunday on CBS Sunday Morning where the entire show was about cancer / cancer research. I highly recommend it. Ghosts and B-Man - Drop me a PM note about the ride. I'm from Lancaster and would consider this in my ride calendar.
  7. Somewhere I have a Talking Proud pin.
  8. My four - Villanova, Arizona, Louisville, UCLA. Steve Alford gets to give IU the finger.
  9. Just a dusting here in CBUS.
  10. They are about 10 years old - yep they've crystallized, but not completely. I warm the jar in some warm water until it reliquidfies. It's not the same though.
  11. My grandfather had a number of them. I still have a number of jars w honey from them. I wish you luck as the bee colony is struggling due to a number of issues.
  12. And the manufacturers have already paid federal taxes on all that inventory sitting around.
  13. DUDE!! Great looking place.
  14. It's been almost 40 years since the last time I was there - My father's parents owned an island on Lake Nippissing ONT. No power, no running water, no telephone. Man, the quiet was just outstanding. And the fishing (walleye, pike, muskie) was tops. 43in, 37# muskie was the last fish I caught there.
  15. Holy moly!! I used to know the north Dallas area like crazy - I'd prolly get lost now.
  16. GBID - How many lanes is Hwy121 now? I remember when it was just a 2 lane non-toll road connecting 75 to 35. Most of it was farm land.
  17. Stick a fork in that idea. Way past done.
  18. Blow torch to nuke the mothers right then and there!
  19. You prolly dont want to see milk or any milk products for a while, eh?
  20. Do my own yard work - I'm by myself. I'm like as some others have posted here - like the exercise and it is a bit therapeutic. Takes about 1hr20min to mow complete. Another 15 to trim/ blow. My only bite is in spring and fall when grass really grows. Sometimes it's 3 times in 10 days. The other thing is I don't like how short the lawn services cut the grass. Neighbors have service and they struggle keeping the grass alive and have to water. Had 7 yards of mulch brought in last spring. Got it all down in 2 half days. Not much better than a cold beverage when the job you did yourself is complete. I can understand the time v family argument tho.
  21. Not sure which made my stomach turn worse. This picture or the Jacksonville fries with that photo montage.
  22. Hey - I treated myself to the Columbus Blue Jacket hockey game last Saturday.
  23. Not sure how Tom Rinaldi can do these stories. I think I would be about two steps short of a basket case. But, I'm glad that he does them.
