Hope Sabourin is ok.
It didn't have any connection to the injury that I know of, but what gets me is how loose hockey, and football, players wear their helmets.

I lived in Raleigh when Hamilton was in high school. Kid was a man amoung boys then. It's a shame to see such talent just wasted. I hope he gets the help he needs. For the nth time.

One can only imagine what the discussion was about.

What digs at me are the women in the 20 - 30 yo range that have this grinding noise / sound when then talk. To me its seems like a sense of laziness.

Well, look at it this way. The yard is freshly areated.

Left 2 companies on my own decision. Laid off from 3 companies. The last one hurt deep.

There isn't any way that the owners of the teams that didn't make either the WC or playoffs are going to give up 7 regular season games.

The Columbus OH morning news report said
- he borrowed gma's car keys and phone to listen to music from the gma's phone in the car
- he overrode the breathalizer switch on the car to get it started
Why couldn't he listen to the music via ear buds or headphones?
What kind of music does gma have on here phone?
Why does gma have a breathalizer switch on the car?
Just asking.

What commercial is this?
Sorry - guess I've overstepped the rules. Not in a commercial, presenter on BBC network.

I'll add one from an international perspective - Naga Munchetty.

Will be interesting to see if this is a NFL / Bills only process or if the Sabres (and CBJ) will manage their mobile tickets the same way. I just checked my Apple Wallet app and the CBJ / TB playoff tix from this past season still have the QR code.

Anyone else watching the Ken Burns docu "Country Music"? I've really enjoyed this so far. Interesting on the number of interconnections between musicians and bands.
Thoughts / opinions?

Sister lives in Jacksonville Beach, just north of Ponte Vedra, about 200 yards from the beach. Neighbor sent her video where streets near house are completely dry / free of sand. They have to get their son to fire up the drone to check the shingles on the roof (3 story house).

Came out hot with three TDs in the first six minutes. Fields looked great early. Dobbins ran hard - sick stiff arm on one play in particular. McCall ripped a 37 yd punt return and picked up yards as backup RB. It was fun as hell to finally see Victor and Olave featured at WR. Then FAU started making some adjustments, the pass protection started looking iffy, Fields got hit hard a few times and made some rookie decisions with the ball, a couple of fumbles, and all of a sudden the Bucks went nine series in a row without a score.
Meanwhile, in the second half Kiffin started attacking the seams in the zone with his tight ends (as Harbaugh likes to do), and it worked. On one play in particular Wint tried to defend a pass without turning around, giving me nightmares about 2018, and all of a sudden this blowout celebration wasn’t as much fun for me as it should have been.
Talent won out in the end. Run blocking looks solid, Fields grinded out tough yards in the second half, Mack made a sick leaping catch on a big play, and today Jeremy Ruckert looked like he may live up to the Gronk-level hype. Teague got good experience in the 4th quarter. But, it’s not hard to imagine how this game would have played out against a good team.
On D, Young and Okudah looked as good as advertised. It was mentioned that Young added 20 pounds of muscle this offseason?! Thanks Chase and Coach Mick. Malik Harrison looked good to me, too.
My nemesis Luck Fickell on deck with a Cincinnati team full of a kids who dreamed of one day playing for the Buckeyes. Yikes.
Didnt stay for the entire game, but my quick view on the first half was that OSU showed who was boss in the first quarter. FAU losing its starting tailback on the second series didn't help. The foot came off the gas in the second quarter as the game was in hand. The entent of the game from that point forward for OSU was to get Fields game time action without showing the entire playbook.

I'm north of Orlando, and we are still not sure what to expect....very stressful times for the entire peninsula of Florida.(even those of us who are inland, like me).
Two years ago, the remnants of the core of Irma passed right over my house, and we were without power for almost a week...the slow movement of this one is what is so concerning(flooding, prolonged exposure to high winds).
This makes 4 consecutive years that a major hurricane will hit the state, yet on average 800 people a week move to the state....something has got to give.
My folks are in the Ocala area, sister in Jax. I gave them all the "talk" about getting prepared last nite. I'd start doing the same.

Looking forward to some cooler weather to ride my bike down the Olentangy Trail, park at the bike corral (small donation), partake in some tailgating, leave early, stop at Lineage Brewing on the way home, get home while others are still jacking around with traffic.

My grandfather would make a big batch, chill, then fry up like corn meal mush (polenta). Eggs, bacon, fried grits. ?
-
Grits - yes. Not every day. I'll make some up after a bike ride and add in a fried egg and some cheese.
Shrimp and grits - big ?

I was living in Texas at the time - was really starting to get into his music. If my travels ever take me to Austin I'm making a stop at the statue.

I never had Bar-Bill BoW, but it looked good in the video. I highly recommend the Glen Park Tavern on Main Street in Williamsville for their beef. Spectacular. Wings are pretty good, too.
A couple of my favorite wing joints have closed down. Tally Ho in Niagara Falls (no relation to Rick's Tally Ho) was fabulous. But the best may have been Rootie's pub, near the UB Amherst campus. Their very available 2-4-1 coupons didn't hurt, either.
Mr Dee's has always been a place that had, not the best, but damn good wings and BoW. Had both in July, and they weren't quite as good as they had been in the past. Could have just been a bad day. I'll have to try again. In the same category as Dee's (and Glen Park) was Mister Bills, which recently closed I heard. Too bad. That was a good place, too. Great pre-post airport run places to stop.

It doesn't do the conversation any good because the place is long gone, but The Klondike Saloon in Bowmansville had great wings.

Heard on NHL radio on Sirius that he has a broken nose. And that Backes actually had an "upper body" injury for the rest of the game.
