    When not being suspended of course, look what Merriman has done for that Charger defense.

    He's a difference maker and although Willis might not be another Merriman, there is no saying he can't make just as big of an impact on his team as Merriman has.

    Career stats:

     

    Eli "The Savior" Manning:  34 starts, 72.3 rating (76 this year)

    Big Ben Roethlisberger:  35 starts, 88.4 rating (72.3 this year)

    Philip Rivers:  11 starts, 92.2 rating

    J.P. Losman:  19 starts, 74.9 rating (84.1 this year)

     

    Question:  which of these four QBs has had the least "supportive" cast (OL, WRs, RBs, etc.)?

     

    Giants -- Tiki, Plaxico, Shockey

    Steelers -- great OL, the Bus, Willie Parker, Hines Ward

    Chargers -- LT, Gates, another great OL

    Bills -- crappy OL, McGahee, Evans, no TE

     

    Edit:  Giants, Steelers, and Chargers all have maintained coaching consistency as well.

    Keeping Takeo for his year of rehab, his year of recovery and then cutting him the following year would be like breaking your leg, paying for the surgery and then chopping it off 2 weeks after the cast was removed and you couldn't run fast.

     

    Achilles takes time and maybe he will never be the same.  But the Bills management knew that he would be limited this year and I know they hope he will be vastly improved next year.  If they didn't think that, they would have cut or traded him last offseason.

     

    It sucks seeing him not be an animal out there, but there was no chance of that happening.

    How can I give thanks tomorrow?

     

    Every year I make a big traditional Thanksgiving dinner.  After an hour in the kitchen it is always nice to share food with loved ones.  For me that was Sammy, but now he is gone.  I still hear his evil twin heckling me throughout the mansion from time to time and still hope Sammy is alive but it will be a sad day tomorrow.

     

    I remember, just last year, hand feeding him some of the special dish I make every Thanksgiving.  He didn't eat it but the look on his face showed deep appreciation.  I had to go give him Silica gel and then his evil twin came and stole everything.  Then I built up so much false hope around Lee and her sexiness fooled me into thinking she was so much more than just a very hot woman.  I have ruined Thanksgiving. 

     

    Does anyone think if I pray that a miracle will happen and Sammy will come back? 

     

    The holidays are great for most but please remember those who are missing their hamster.
