  1. proud that we won't stand for his BS maybe. I don't hate him, I just think he is an idiot.
  2. Is that how comp picks work? I have no idea, but feel as though there would be restrictions on this, such as time period.
  3. I heard his on the field post game interview about being mad that they passed on short yardage to the endzone. He seemed so overly pleased that they ran on the next down as if his blowing up dictated the game plan to the OC. The hilarious part was that they stopped the run, and on the 3rd attempt passed for a TD. He skimmed over that. They passed it, you jackass.
  4. I thought that's why they moved all the games to Saturday until I noticed they left 2 on Sunday.
  5. I still don't understand how the Bills make the playoffs. Eliminating all other potential teams tieing, the Bills still lose the tiebreaker to Miami according to this: Miami Wins AFC Tiebreakers 1st Seed - Oakland AFC West Champ Wins tie break over New England based on best win percentage in common games. 6th Seed - Miami Wins tie break over Buffalo based on best win percentage in common games. First: TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two wild-card teams from each conference, the following steps will be taken. 1. If the tied teams are from the same division, apply division tiebreaker. So Division TieBreaker: TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION If, at the end of the regular season, two or more teams in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined. Two teams 1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the teams). Even 1-1 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. Even 3-3 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. Even 5-3 4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. Even 6-6 5. Strength of victory. I'm too lazy to calculate this out right now. 6. Strength of schedule. Bottom line, I think all of these articles telling us Miami just has to lose out have lazy authors as well, because they don't explain how we beat the Dolphins tiebreaker.
  6. The part where it is luck, and good special teams. Come on, who scores a 2 pt INT runback on a 2 pt conversion attempt to win the game? No one ever has. Except them. Even their newspaper wrote an article about their improbable wins. http://www.kansascity.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/sam-mellinger/article118862983.html This isn't hating on them, it is just saying that is how you win when you have poorly ranked offense and defense. I must have mistaken them for the Texans as I thought they got blown out quite a bit in the playoffs. Only recent blowing was the 38-10 lead over the Colts in 2013.
  7. How do we get in? I have Miami beating us in Common games even if they lose the next 2.
  8. Special teams, turnovers, and some pretty good luck. They won a couple games on kickoff returns or PAT returns or some other nonsense. I don't think they are a playoff team, and I think they will be once again blown out in the playoffs.
  9. Excellent strategy. I like the "I hope he turns into Tom Brady" strategy.
  10. lmao that thing is brilliant. Correlation does not imply causation.
  11. Not really. We drafted Cardale Jones. Isn't that the whole point? To take a shot on a guy? Isn't that what you wanted similar to Russell Wilson or Dak Prescott?
  12. How did a 2nd on Kujo or Ragland set the Bills back more than a second on Hackenburg would have? It didn't either.
  13. Just a thought, but maybe a payoff with respect and preparation for firing him. Maybe why they kept the extension quiet too. Fisher was widely respected and liked.
  14. I read this as Giants accused of stealing p*ts playbook. I was like well that was stupid...they don't even play them this year....
  15. Looking pretty awful for my Dolphins Defense play in fantasy until that turnover. Still their offense is being pretty pathetic and going 3 and out immediately.
  16. Tyrod wasn't the same as any of those. He hadn't had his shot yet, and was given time to develop behind Flacco. He was a better chance than a lot of the draft prospects.
  17. We took Manuel, and Jones, and signed Taylor in 4 years. I'm not sure why you don't count Tyrod, but we took a shot on a young QB who had time to sit behind Flacco. The real difference you are complaining about is that their picks worked, and ours didn't. Such is life.
  18. Picking a successful QB like Wilson out of a draft and holding him up is great and all, but I could pick 10 times as many QB's that we didn't pick that still flopped. The argument is that not picking those QB's that flopped is a bad thing because by not doing so we missed out on picking the one that didn't (Wilson). However the odds of picking Wilson from the ones that flopped are ridiculous without hindsight. Scouts didn't give Wilson a chance, the scouts were wrong. The scouts didn't give Hackenberg a good grade, they were likely right. I don't like the argument that we should ignore scouting and draft the duds because one could be a gem. That just sounds awful.
  19. Wentz is about a big of a bust as RG3 or Ponder or Luck or Carr or Tannehill or Bradford or Newton or Bortles was in the last 6ish years. You simply can't say for sure at this point. He is showing an ugly side right now, but time will tell.
  20. Like I said, time will tell, but that has been said of many QBs. He is a rookie, and he will have a shot to improve. I'm just saying it isn't guaranteed. I don't think Dak Prescott is guaranteed either. Derek Carr is proving himself right now. That's what these other QB's have to do. Consistency is king.
  21. You were actually right the first time. They drafted 4 QB's in 4 years. Every year. Hasn't worked for them. 2013 - Geno Smith 2014 - Tajh Boyd 2015 - Bryce Petty 2016 - Christian Hackenberg. Wentz started out great but he is currently 4 tds and 9 ints in the last 6 games. I really hate when people declare QB's great so quickly. Time will tell. Just like it did with Tannehill RG3 and Luck when people declared it the new age of QB's. 33% accuracy right there.
  22. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000757782/article/richard-sherman-draws-unnecessary-roughness-fine Didn't know where to put this. Seems similar to the hit on Powell? on the last play of the monday night game. I wonder if that is why it is a "repeated offense". Video in the link. Sherman is such a punk.
  23. I feel like on a lot of these end zone passes, this should be called a lot more often then........ Either way, it's ridiculous. The guy does everything right and they disqualify the int because the opposing player put a finger on the ball while he was out of bounds.
  24. Or how the rams lost the endzone int challenge? There was plenty of clear proof he got 3 feet in bounds. Like wtf. And if you are going to tell me that Graham touching the ball while being out of bounds makes it a dead ball, I am going to give up on football haha.
  25. Not to mention suspended next year probably. At which point we will be sure to criticize Whaley for picking up a "troubled" player.
