    Are you denying that there can be a year that doesn't have a good stock of QBs, and conversely a year that has a few good QBs? I mean 2012 and 2013 man.....

    So going by this idea, a 3rd round pick in 2018 is worth less than a 5th round pick right now? I mean it adds up, but that seems like silly logic. You get the guy for 5 years either way. I understand the "make an impact now" idea, but the Bears, Browns, 49ers, and maybe even the Bills aren't contending anytime soon for this to be considered.

    Admittedly I don't know a whole lot about the value chart, but why would the same pick in the same round next year be worth half the value of this years? Next year, would we say "Gee, I wish we used this 1st round pick last year, its worth half of these other 1st round picks"?

    You are right. I watched a ton as well and they squeaked more than a few out with defense/special teams. Kind of like the Dolphins, but less flukey.

    No idea about Darnold, but the Browns now have 2 1sts as ammunition plus 2 2nds I think. They will have more ammunition, but lets just hope there is more than one guy.

    That was a bad trade itself. SF had the Chicago at a ransom. They said we draft Trubisky or you tell us what you'll give us for him. You shouldn't compare the two at all.

    "Grownups"? , now the people complaining repeatedly about firing Whaley are talking about being a grownup. Might as well start calling him Failey! I'd be curious to see what the record is for people thinking Whaley was ridiculous for letting Karlos go last year. Those "grown ups" surely had a temper tantrum on that. Is he even on a team anymore?

    I don't think people watched as many Miami games either, but they had some miraculous last minute game winners/ties including a few run backs. That won't happen again this year. Yeah, if we have any semblance of a run defense, then Miami doesn't even make the playoffs last year.

    Not completely directed at you, I've just seen a number of people commenting on how the Dolphins will have "clinched" a playoff spot, and I just don't get it.

    More comp picks means less free agent signings/resignings. But who cares those guys are crappy! We want the prime 3rd, 4th, 5th round studs!
