  1. Get the game pass trial and watch it now
  2. yeah that is pretty damn annoying. CASE KEENUMMMMMMM!!!!!!
  3. He did not turn him until after he batted the ball away. Im watching on game pass and he had his hand on his shoulder and batted the ball away and then starts turning
  4. I disagree. We see that all the time.
  5. Less about actual criticism and more about quips that no one else thinks is funny and trolling to get a rise out of people and get people arguing about it. It brings no value.
  6. Maybe the fish and cutler will sneak them a few wins.
  7. This is a good way to put it. Rather than dramatize the cases that get past, and ask "why do they put themselves at risk at all", all of those people should be looking to assist in minimizing it and assisting when it does happen, but recognize that it is a hazardous game and there is an element of risk. It is either that or cancel the NFL.
  8. So when Tom Brady says he is aware of the dangers, but still wants to play then it is the NFL's fault? You are saying they should say "No, Tom Brady, we are concerned for your health more than you are and override your voluntary choice to play football" I mean they can, but I don't think the decision should be taken out of players hands. If they want to do a hazardous job for amazing pay then why not?
  9. Found this on the Dolphins forums. No idea who Slater is but they source him. http://slaterscoops.com/news/2017/8/7/exclusive-details-jarvis-landry-under-investigation-for-battery
  10. This is actually what I came here for. Didn't even know Watkins was "hurt"
  11. Watkins has to take the next step like Julio did, but to write off Watkins as a bust would be being the fool that wrote off Julio after year 3.
  12. I realize this but that was at a traffic stop. As far as I can tell Police were clearing the area, they saw he had a gun, and like you said over reacted. "The arrest happened as officers were clearing out a crowd in the water park parking lot around 10 p.m. Sunday."
  13. I don't know what the article I read means by "displayed a gun", and if he is just sitting in his car not involved, I don't know why they would shoot him.
  14. Yeah it was "reached for and displayed a gun while sitting inside his vehicle just feet from officers. The suspect did not inform officers beforehand" So he has the permit and simply made a move with a concealed weapon that police didn't like? I mean wouldn't this simply be a ticket?
  15. As someone else stated, he isn't alone. He made a quip online in response to this tweet. He wasn't complaining, he was actively stating that he is going to try and do something about that. Get a grip. https://twitter.com/BenGolliver/status/881363679937089536\ Ben Golliver - "More than $870 million worth of new contracts were agreed to during the first 24 hours of the 2017 NBA free agency period." https://twitter.com/sammywatkins/status/881516252233125888 Sammy Watkins - "We gotta get paid more I'm pretty sure 2014 class will change the market" As opposed to the following article someone posted, where countless other NFL athletes made similar quips. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/07/nfl-players-twitter-reaction-nba-free-agent-contracts/amp This isn't unique to Sammy Watkins no matter how much you guys want it to be.
  16. You certainly can. If you think you can put together a great case for it, I suggest you do. I love how we all act like we don't complain about the same crap granted he shouldn't have tweeted it out. But Watkins isn't an average employee and if anything Watkins has a better case given the health issues football players face.
  17. I saw this tweet, and instantly knew people would be whining, thinking he is complaining about money or his current contract and not looking at context. So yes, because people can't interpret things correctly and jump to conclusions, he shouldn't have said anything.
  18. That was precisely my point. They endured lousy seasons before breakthroughs but never tanked. I don't think there is a magic pill or player that will make it all go away. We need several things to consistently compete.
  19. I think the problem with tanking or even just being bottom 5 is that it isn't necessarily successful and it is demoralizing to players and fans alike. The great franchises didn't have to tank to build their team. Patriots, Packers, Steelers, Seahawks, didn't have to tank to get where they were, so is tanking really the formula for success? Jacksonville has had 6 top 5 picks in the last 6 years and look at them? Cleveland?
  20. So did he sign with us?!?!?! (Just adding my contribution to #200!
  21. Browns have more draft capital and I would argue they are competing to be the worse team.
  22. Jets are falling apart. Lost half their team this offseason and the other half is crazy. If the Bills don't sweep them.....
  23. Really? Wow. They had high hopes for him. The way they talked him up when he was drafted, I was getting kind of jealous. Guess I should know better.
  24. I sure hope not. 1 step forward 10 steps back.
