  1. Link? Edit: NM found it.
  2. Revisionist history. The Chargers were not appearing to be a playoff team at 3-6 when we played them. They have since went 5-1 going into Week 17. Its an unlikely turn of events for them.
  3. Just confirmed. Signed with the Pats. Guess they are looking past the divisional round to the Steelers vs Patriots conference game. I so hope whoever plays them upsets them. So tired of them.
  4. I would think they'd have to give a player, any player or something in return with the wink wink. But I don't see why the NFL would stop them. The NFL shouldn't be expecting any team to fold or quit even in week 17 let alone enforcing that they do.
  5. They should do a Dodgeball type panel with Chuck Norris.
  6. Not saying anything leads officials to be less careful about botching the next one. Or Kraft a little more cautious about exerting control over the league office maybe. Either way silence does nothing. What is the 4th and 1 rule? Lay it out for me.
  7. This can't be understated. So many times we get a 6 yard pass that could've been 15 yard gains if they didn't have to adjust to Tyrod's inaccuracy. They adjust and immediately either fall or get tackled. Or worse we lose a game because a wide open WR (Zay Jones) isn't hit in the numbers for a go ahead TD. Amazing adjustment to even almost come up with that ball.
  8. Whose idea was it to have one guy be the guy to do this in so many situations? I mean even if he isn't playing favorites, if his name keeps coming up there will surely be skepticism that he lacks bias.
  9. That's a cool site, but know we get in if we win and the Bengals win regardless of Jags/Titans game. Jags win would just bump us up to 5th seed from the 6th. We also get in if we win and just the Ravens win, and Titans/Chargers lose.
  10. How do we only have a 13% chance? If we win and Ravens lose which does seem unlikely, we are in. Almost sounds like a 50/50 thing to This is why odds are so dumb. Chargers need to win and have Titans lose. 41% chance. (Their only shot to get in.) Plus even need a twist on depending on a specific combo of Ravens and Bills winning and losing. Bills need to win and have Titans and Chargers lose OR have the Ravens lose to the Bengals and we get in. 13% chance. Seems rather silly odds when we are all playing division games, the Bengals and Raiders are only 2 games behind their respective opponents, and the Jaguars are 2 games ahead of their opponent.
  11. Yet again the result isn't the point. The point is that Tyrod deserved to be benched based on his performance. Yes, Peterman did worse than expected, but that does not change the fact that Tyrod deserved to be benched.
  12. Again, why didn't Tyrod use that magic against the Panthers, Bengals, Jets, Saints, Patriots 2x? Again it was Peterman's first start and 2 unlucky picks made a rookie in his first game lose confidence. Tyrod stepping up in any of those games (specifically the Bengals/Panthers) would make this entire thing a non issue and he probably wouldn't have gotten benched. He deserved to be benched, get over it.
  13. Its fuzzy, so I looked at it briefly then gave up. I saw a TD on a short field gifted from our defense but otherwise the standard punt, punt, punt.
  14. The Bengals game we didn't at all deserve to lose. Everything went our way that game. We deserved to win but could not capitalize. One could argue that means we deserve to lose, but we were clearly the better team. I guess Tyrod was saving his skills for the Chargers game he never got to play.
  15. Jags would be tough, but I don't think they match up well with us. I think we would have Bortles number. Just looked at it and the Chargers are actually the team that couldn't make it if we did. So no worries on them. It would either be Baltimore or Tennessee in there if the Bills make it. We go through New England after the Jags in the majority of scenarios so that is where it ends. However if we did somehow pull off a win, we could end up facing the Titans or Ravens in the AFC Champ game. Of course this is all hypothetical. Gotta win sunday and get just a little bit of help.
  16. We could beat the Jaguars, Chiefs, and (Ravens, Titans, Chargers) based on whoever else makes it. We got beat up by the Chargers in that game, but I think we hit the reset button on it and actually compete in a rematch. Patriots and Steelers would be challenging for obvious reasons.
  17. ...Context would mean taking into consideration the entirety of the season into "context". You are taking the season out of context when you put it all down to this Week 17 game. For every Panthers and Bengals loss for us, there is a Baltimore loss to the Bears or Titans. For every Panthers and Bengals loss for us, there is a Tennessee loss to Raiders or Dolphins For every Panthers and Bengals loss for us, there is a Los Angeles loss to Broncos or Dolphins
  18. For everyone wishing a specific team won a game 2, 3, 4 weeks ago, you always root for the AFC teams to lose. It doesn't matter what you thought would happen with the rest of the games bc for every way you "finesse" us into the playoffs, there are a 1000 ways it could go wrong. For example, Titans beating Rams and 49ers. Chargers and Chiefs both at 9-7 Titans would get the 6th spot bc (corrected) they currently have the conference tie breaker against us. Its only two scenarios at this point: Bills win Ravens lose or Bills win Titans and Chargers lose
  19. Proof? You just have to google Patriots and it comes up cheating....lmao. Its been fun bud. Have a Merry Christmas, and honestly just go back to your message board.
  20. I told you, you have nothing to worry about. The Patriots*** have the title on cheating locked up. In the record books for most scandals and controversial officiating calls: The New England Patriots*** It's going to be hilarious in 15 years when people are talking about past teams that were really good, and the Patriots will be mentioned, but then every single time someone is going to bring up "the scandals". Asterisks for life until BB and TB are gone.
  21. Oh boy guys, he's going to whip out his Bledsoe jersey!! Now we know he's serious! lmao.
  22. But he's been a fan since "long before they won a super bowl"!! That was like a really long time man!
  23. I was reading Colts fans posts prior to Saturday's game and they were talking about locking up a top 3 pick with a loss or something. So even with that, the Colts competed.
  24. I can tell you why no one gives a crap about the Patriots legacy.
  25. And by more incompetent you mean by those other teams having a worse record in the end? Because playoffs are calculated by our records from the entire year? Not just this one game. You know this, right....?
