  1. I bet they also predicted the odds of the Bills making the playoffs using their super advanced formulas.
  2. True that. I didn't say that. I just meant that Tyrod's stats in the 2nd half aren't really indicative of a true competition. Chargers were probably giving up all kinds of stuff in the middle of the field just to keep the clock moving and go home.
  3. Chargers were up by like 30 at that point. They weren't worried about a come back.
  4. Jags fans getting a little salty over our thoughts that we can beat them. I wouldn't say we are over confident though. They ignore the rampant "thank god we play the bills" disrespect in their own thread though. https://www.duvalpride.com/showthread.php?tid=26310&page=9
  5. Simmer down people. This isn't BBMB. Attack the argument not the poster.
  6. Our defense in the Bengals game took the ball away 3 times, and had a punt return to the Cin 12 yard line. That game was ours for the taking, but Tyrod could not make it happen, and then threw the game ending pick. The entire second half offense had like a net total of 50 yards. Now I am not saying sticking with Taylor now is a bad thing. I am saying that this view of Tyrod beating the Chargers because he is Tyrod is unrealistic.
  7. BS. We could be a legit 11-5 had Tyrod been the Tyrod you all think he is against the Bengals and Jets.
  8. No. That is your perception because that is what it boiled down to. The fact is our record vs the Ravens and the corresponding calculations that got us into the playoffs were a result of the ENTIRE season. Not just the perceived "hail mary" at the end because that's what you last remember.
  9. No, I believe the Ravens would have beat the Chargers based on a better conference record. Chargers needed a Titans loss PLUS: A Bills loss OR Ravens win Edit: Bottom line is nothing happened the way they needed it to. Its just strange to hear them complaining since the Jaguars game ended I believe right before the Bills game or shortly after and the Ravens game was still going. So how the Jaguars were manipulating playoff spots seems sketchy and unlikely.
  10. There was some clickbait article out there about the Patriots putting thermometers in the Jets tunnel and behind the Jets bench to remind them how cold it is outside. Kind of silly.
  11. No discernible difference at all
  12. Good, I love when opposing fans are over confident. Sets it up for an upset. On another note, it was strange to see the Chargers fan in there talking trash about how the "Jaguars lost to pick their playoff opponent". Chargers weren't making it because of the Ravens loss or alternatively Bills win. Not bc of the Jaguars loss.
  13. Then its "incidental contact" or "they just got tangled up!"
  14. McDermott gets his 5 years. That's a lock at this point.
  15. While I was for the move against the Chargers, that was when we were on a two game slide bringing us to 5-4 with 7 games left including 3 tough games against KC and NE. Playing against a 3-6 Chargers team in a temp stadium with a lackluster fanbase seemed like a good point to start Peterman and try to get something going. I still think that was a good move without the hindsight that the Chargers might actually be good (dominant pass rush), and Peterman would lose confidence and weapons so early. However to start him against Miami would've been silly in such a critical game. In his limited opportunities has not proven he can be better than Tyrod, and Tyrod handled the Dolphins just fine 2 weeks ago.
  16. Anyone know where their forums reside? I keep coming up with generic ones. I'd like to see what their thoughts on us are.
  17. To be fair, I believe he is trolling with this topic. The guy was very against starting Peterman and is a fan of Tyrod, so to start a thread saying to start Peterman in our first playoff game is purely trolling and trying to get a rise out of people.
  18. Thirded! Do the right thing OP!
  19. I read a tweet somewhere that said they played man coverage for that whole drive until the TD play when they switched to zone and botched the coverage. That would be a combination of DC playcalling and players not doing their jobs to me. I was fully expecting him to get tackled short of the endzone just to put us through the wringer.
  20. Well yeah but on the internet, you'll find an opinion for everything. There are people that think we should move on from coachs and coordinators already. I guess I'll adjust my statement to most reasonable people won't argue that Tyrod is a train wreck. Most people are just nervous that by accepting Tyrod's play, we will start foregoing other opportunities at the position, and that has been a repeated mistake by the organization over the last 15 years at least. Thank God Tyrod got it done this year, but he definitely had his faults and its not impossible that another QB could do what Tyrod did this year.
  21. He isn't a train wreck. No one argues that he is a train wreck. He should not prevent us from putting full emphasis on finding more at the QB position though. This team could be much better with a solid QB who plays a full 4 quarters.
  22. I screamed and yelled and high fived and then my brother in another state called and our respective houses sang the "Let's go Buffalo" song. Memorable. Can't wait for next week!
  23. You sound mad. Don't be mad. We may start having to call you our resident fish fan. 1972 is awfully coincidental....
  24. My house had red zone and the Bills game on two separate TVs. We were slightly worried about the Dolphins but the Ravens going ahead of the Bengals really stung and took focus away especially since Oakland officially lost.
  25. No that was "skill" and "great coaching" and just being an overall "good team" /s
