I think thats part of the problem. The traffic and thread creation kind of exploded at the time of migration. We had some semblance of keeping to specific threads for things beforehand. Now it almost seems like its a free for all, but in reality it is just higher traffic posting, and creating threads. I think there needs to be a tutorial for people creating threads. That was my problem when looking at BBMB anyway from the outside, just a mass of personal thoughts as threads. Not very pretty.

You said give up 12th, and 22nd to the Colts. That's two 1st rounders to get into the top 10. Then you said you'd have to give up that top ten pick to the giants. Plus you said you'd need to give the Giants 2 more 1st round picks. That is 5 1st rounders passing through our hands for 1 in return. Netting 4. Its the Sammy Watkins pick argument so let's agree to disagree. Also yes it would be more valuable to move up if we had a higher top ten pick. That is obvious. The Jets just did it with 3 2nd rounders, but you think the Giants would accept nothing less than 2 1sts, a 2nd rounder and a 3rd rounder. I mean your argument ignores all recent trends.

Let's just pin this down. You think to get to #2 the Bills need to give up: A top 10 pick, 2 additional 1st round picks, a 2nd, and 3rd this year. To get the top 10 pick you suggest it will take trading with the Colts and giving up: 12, 22, and a 2nd and 3rd. So in total you think to move up to #2 it will take giving two teams: 5 1st round picks 2 2nd round picks 2 3rd round picks I mean you just aren't in the same reality. Philly going from #8 to #2 in 2016 throws all of that in the trash.

Was breaking the drought worth it?
What a Tuel replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the drought lovers are just pissed they couldn't get a 20 year drought. They loved holding that over the Bills Org and fellow fans. -
THE FALLACY OF DRAFT BUST HISTORY or TRADE UP DUH!
What a Tuel replied to theRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Eagles sent #8 overall, a 3rd round pick, a 4th round pick, a 1st round pick 2017 and a 2nd round pick in 2018 to the Browns. Additionally to get to #8 overall from #13 the Eagles traded Byron Maxwell and Kiko Alonso. How is that much different than the suggested cost to the Bills of: #12 overall, #22 overall, a 2nd, 3rd, and next years 1st? Additionally to get to #12 overall from #21 the Bills traded Cordy Glenn The Bills would have to pay slightly more because of the damn Jets but the Eagles paid their own ransom. Edit: I just re-read the last paragraph. Doesn't have enough? What? -
I know that was Hyperbole but Eli is 37. Rivers and Roethlisberger are 36. I think they may start considering replacements but they didn't fall off of a cliff, and arent suddenly worthless. They each may have a few more years left in them. Brady and Brees aren't super human. It is the nature of the game that has changed how long they can play.

Tannehill hasn't played since Dec 2016 cause of his injury. I don't think they are done with him yet, but they are probably close to starting their search for a replacement. Not this year though, they want to see if he has anything to show in 2018.

Breaking: no charges against Zay
What a Tuel replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In this scenario, doesn't the property owner need to press charges for the property damage? Maybe they declined because they wanted him to get the help he needed, and/or he paid them for the damage. Beyond the property damage, it sounds like he was arrested for his own safety. It's not hard to see that it sounds like they came to an understanding that is best for all parties. Hopefully he gets whatever help he needs. I don't know why everyone jumps to "rich". Regular people get charges dropped all the time, especially for 1st time offences. -
I’m not anxious for Beane to make anymore moves!
What a Tuel replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its way too early to call him anything at all, but a stud? Come on, that is ridiculous. He threw 35 passes in Week 17 of the NFL season. That's it. If it were a Bill, the board would be full of excuses that it didn't count or that he has more INTs than TDs. Time will tell with Mahomes, but no where near proving to be a smart selection by the chiefs. -

WR is starting to become a big concern for me
What a Tuel replied to DKBills25's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Few picks? Most project us giving up 12, 22, 1 2nd, 1 3rd, and maybe next years 1st. We should have picks 2-7 which outside of a 1st rounder is a normal draft. -
Rumor: Trade up discussion with Giants
What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The bolded is the only valid reason. If you are giving up picks to move out of 12, you better be damn sure it is move up ahead of they higher teams. Not play defense against teams picking in the mid teens. Thats just failure on the GMs part at that point. Just my opinion though, and I am sure I won't be the only one pissed at this. Moving up for 4-5th choice. Yuck. -
They could opt in for a 2nd round QB pick. I don't think its a good idea, but these qbs are hyped up so much you'd think that all 7 prospects will go top ten. There will be other positional candidates picked in between. Especially if GM's don't believe their guy will be there, and doesn't want the leftovers.

Rumor: Trade up discussion with Giants
What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why would we trade 12 to move up to 9 and draft a QB? 49ers, Raiders, and Dolphins (according to you) aren't threats. I guess someone else could trade up, but I don't like that move at all. Giving up picks to defend 12 rather than truly moving up. Yuck. -
A lot of people don't like that WRs catching a ball very briefly and letting go would qualify as a catch, and it would be annoying when it happens. But the alternative is much worse in my opinion. I also like the idea of opening up the receiving game to more fumbles now. Make it a risk to let the ball go after catching it even briefly. Otherwise it just seems sterile with "oh he catches it, and turns, and oh the ball comes out, no catch. Lets stand around and review for 10 minutes" rather than opening it up to the players on the field to recover and make a play.

Rumor: Trade up discussion with Giants
What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, letting 2 divisional opponents pick before you in a rare QB stacked draft is the stuff of nightmares and is exactly the awful regard for QBs the Bills org has had in the drought. Time to see if it has really changed. Even if Miami or New York Giants doesn't draft one, waiting til 12 means allowing for at least 3 QB needy teams to pick before you in CLE, NYJ, DEN. So you are either hoping your guy isn't picked, or you are hoping you win the lottery and the guy left over was the best pick. Throw in the kitchen sink and get this done. -
For all who want to trade up so bad
What a Tuel replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, because the haystack for later round QBs is much larger than the haystack of 1st rounders. Higher chance to hit. -
Has to be this or else it is incompetence, and I don't think it is. He also has a history of saying things like this, like with the Watkins trade only taking the Rams offer and not shopping him. Can't take his words at face value especially before the draft. Its just a bad look though if they knew the Jets were trading up because then they are incompetent or lying. And if they didn't know the Jets were trading up, then its just bad timing/luck. I think it was the former which I think is bad form. You can throw out smokescreens without making half your fan base think you aren't even thinking about what you should be thinking about (QB).
