  1. As opposed to letting the Dolphins find a rhythm against us right before we play them again? We don't need to play scared of injury. If its clear we have nothing to gain, then fine, pull the starters. But keeping the rhythm going, ensuring home field advantage until AFCCG is something to gain and something to play for. You could have a loss with injuries to supporting staff because the backups are struggling to make plays. Resting the starters does not mean we rest the starting 11 on either side of the ball. This is it exactly though. This is ripe for 20/20 hindsight.
  2. Granted they were on their forums joking that they should send covid patients to our hotel...karma is a thing.
  3. I'm not the one being salty asking to re-read my own points, "letting me know who you are", get over yourself bud. Go Bills.
  4. I did it with the below. Bills #1 seed. Looooooong shot, and I randomly filled in the rest of the games that didnt matter. https://imgur.com/a/lPzw8tP
  5. "Defense really was part of the issue. They went from far and away the best in the league last year to eleventh this year. Still good but nowhere near good enough to make up for offensive problems." But ok dude, keep being cocky. Either you made the point or you didn't but ffs commit.
  6. You are missing the point. The defense wasn't #1 in the league in 2016, 2017, 2018 when they made the super bowl either. You are touting the lack of their defense as a contributing factor, and I'd agree. Where we disagree is if they had a Tom Brady led offense, would they be able to overcome that? Absolutely. They did it in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
  7. You are touting turnovers as the proof behind why they sucked - the defense, but the reality is it was both offense and defense. However using your own metric you are bringing to the table, the bigger impact as I pointed out above (I added a bit more) is the turnover differential. The Patriots made the superbowl in the years that had less turnovers on defense and less turnovers on offense. As opposed to the year where they had the most turnovers on defense and they didnt. This year there is no doubt, the offense is losing games because they are turning the ball over more. They lost one to precisely us as a result of Cam Newton fumbling. Is turnover differential that the only reason? No, of course not, but don't bring that to the table as the tell tale sign then.
  8. 36 wasn't really sustainable. Turnovers: 2016 (SB) - 23 2017 (SB) - 18 2018 (SB) - 28 2019 (No SB) - 36 2020 (No Playoffs) - 20 (14 games) To say 20 turnovers is why they couldn't make the playoff let alone the super bowl in 2020 is a bit misleading. Now look at offensive turnovers (giveaways) 2016 (SB) - 11 2017 (SB) - 12 2018 (SB) - 18 2019 (No SB) - 15 2020 (No playoffs) - 19 (14 games) Differential 2016 (SB) - +12 2017 (SB) - +6 2018 (SB) - +10 2019 (No SB) - +21 2020 (No playoffs) - +1 (14 games)
  9. If the Dolphins make it, I doubt they had a 2nd loss to us so you wouldnt have to worry about beating them 3 times. If they lose to us (and beat the Raiders) they need one of these things to happen: Ravens to lose to Jags and Giants or Browns to lose to Jets and Steelers or Colts to lose to Steelers and Jags Not likely IMO. That said, I get a bad vibe from the Ravens
  10. This is a fantastic point but no one will listen because it takes away their license to discriminate. No one should generalize at all but it happens and they simply dont care who it impacts when they do because they don't see it is a marginalized group in need of protecting. Is discrimination wrong no matter who it is against? Absolutely.
  11. Not going to happen, but either way the poster said the Pats can't win the AFC East now. Which is notable and 100% true.
  12. I don't know what was up with him. He also called a QB run by Josh a throw. I'm like...ok he misspoke. But then capped it off with calling it a completion coming back on the holding flag.
  13. Someone on their forum is saying they should forfeit their playoff spot. They are super down after last week and now this week.
  14. I am pretty sure a lot of us were thinking we were the only team left that could beat Pittsburgh and end the undefeated season. WFT beat us to it though. All the better though. Just need one more loss from the Steelers and a win from us to get that home playoff advantage through to the AFC championship.
  15. And everyone still just keeps saying it. Drake, Ekeler, Mostert, and Connor all active for 4 of those games too.
  16. They still should do this but move both the Steelers and the Ravens. Especially now when AFC East rivalries are at an all time low because of the Patriots. Browns and Bengals rivalries with the Steelers and Ravens mostly turn out to be "lets take this guys head off". AFC North AFC South AFC West AFC East Bills Dolphins Chargers Jets Browns Jaguars Raiders Patriots Bengals Titans Broncos Ravens Colts Texans Chiefs Steelers NFC North NFC South NFC West NFC East Vikings Cowboys 49ers Giants Packers Saints Seahawks Eagles Bears Falcons Rams Redskins Lions Buccaneers Cardinals Panthers Yeah yeah yeah, I destroy the cowboys nfc east rivalries. Where are we at with the revenge on Steelers Stadium?
  17. Can anyone tell me if Beasley matches up against the Steelers defense as well as he matched up against the 49ers? I have a choice between him or Tyler Boyd in the Flex (or Antonio Brown but thats risky imo), and Boyd has been slow to poor since Burrow went out. Last 3 Beasley: ARI - 11 rec 109 yards 1 td LAC - 2 rec 25 yards 0 td (one passing TD) SF - 9 rec 130 yards 1 td Last 3 Boyd: WSH - 9 rec 85 yards 0 td (Burrow half game) NYG - 3 rec 15 yards 0 td (no Burrow) MIA - 1 rec 72 yards 1 td (no Burrow + ejected late in the game) I have to go with Beasley right? There is an angle on playing Antonio Brown against the team 29th ranked (fantasy production) passing def of the vikings. I just don't think Brady has the long ball in him anymore.
  18. Yeah this too. Maybe I am underestimating the time it takes to get that replay on the screen but i cant stand watching a coach stand there for 30 seconds while i wonder what the replay actually shows.
  19. Does anyone else get annoyed by the camera angles in games? Like why do they constantly zoom in so close? Its so frustrating to not see whats happening on the rest of the field. Half the time they zoom in so close to the QB that you have no idea who he is throwing to. I am really growing to hate it. Maybe they do it purposely to build anticipation but thats just awful. Anticipation would be seeing the play develop. This is why all 22s are better. Im not asking for them to show this camera angle but stop zooming in on the QB. Example below: https://youtu.be/lFZo7oIMlsw?t=123
  20. I forget, is the MNF game on CBS and ESPN or just ESPN?
  21. Yeah, Mahomes let's a ball get away from him and its the weather. Allen let's a ball get away from him and its a flaw he's gotta overcome. Allen has to prove he is consistently good, but at the same time, every mistake doesn't have to be the deciding factor that he is bad either.
  22. Or you discuss it with fellow fans and enjoy the sport and theorizing about it. But of course if you don't like those conversations, you can just not click the topic and we won't get paid....wait..
  23. I'd say "one of the best in the league" equates to probably top 5. You don't think the Bills uniforms crack the top 5? Who do you put ahead?
  24. Why do we wear white so much at home? I don't know, i always thought of the white alternates as "away jerseys", and the bold colorful jerseys for the home edge. If we wear white this game, it'll be 3-3 white vs blue in home games.
  25. I was curious and did it. Its not too crazy , but Buffalo definitely need to win out. KC needs to drop Bucs, Saints, Chargers. Pittsburgh needs to drop Ravens, Colts, and Bills. Implausible but this is what the playoff machine was made for Dream scenarios fleshed out on paper!
