  1. The pats lost to the Dolphins, Bucs, Saints, Cowboys. I mean cool, you beat the browns without their QB, Panthers with a limited McCaffrey and no QB, and the Chargers (good win). Otherwise bottom of the barrel, Jets (2x), Texans (barely) make up half of your wins. I don't think you really have a leg to stand on in terms of quality of opponents to be sitting here saying the bills haven't been tested. The pats have been tested and failed 75% of their tough games (Chargers, Cowboys, Bucs, Saints). The whole argument is asinine.
  2. stuck in qb hell this week with Burrow on bye. Pick up Tua. They tell me he won't start. Pick up Brissett, as he starts and someone is gonna score a few points on this Ravens pass d. Then Tua just randomly comes into the game. Like wtf, if he was healthy enough to start, why did you wait?
  3. I don't understand, are we limiting our view to the jaguars game alone or are we looking at the scope of the team as compared to last year? Because I will take this year over last year 10/10 times so far. The team performed far better against the Chiefs and Titans who blew us out last year, and 4 out of the 6 games we've played were never in question. Did the Jaguars game suck? Yes. Does it spell our impending doom? No. Also, you say none of them are as bad but bring Miami into it too? How is beating Miami 26-11 worse or more concerning than scoring 6 field goals to beat the 2-14 jets 18-10 last year?
  4. I don't understand this line of thought. If this dates back to 2020, then clearly we are still good enough to make the AFC Championship right? That wasn't a fluke. I mean, I posted this in another thread, but I want to post it here too. People have veeeeery short memories. Every year sh!t happens. Sometimes we won't squeeze it out. It doesn't mean the team is a dud. Bad things that happened this time last year : Got blown out by Titans and Chiefs Almost lost to the Fitzpatrick led Dolphins Beat the 2-14 Jets 18-10 Almost lost a 25 point lead to the Rams Almost lost to the Cam Newton led Patriots if it weren't for a last minute fumble Bad things that happened this year so far: Upset against the Steelers Tough close loss against the Titans Upset against the Jaguars
  5. Love to see bills fans rushing to argue that our loss was crappier than some other teams bad loss lol. As if it isn't part of their argument that we struggled to beat Miami the 2nd time (but still beat them) in conjunction with the Jaguars loss. At the end of the day, bills fan have gotten so used to the team sucking that they more actively engage in discussion when they do poorly than they do when they do well. They just can't wait to snipe the team on a bad day.
  6. of course they go for the field goal on 3rd down with 5 seconds left. They are the dolphins after all. You just ran 2 plays in 7 seconds. Of course you don't give it one more shot in the endzone with freaking 5 seconds left. Just take the 3 points, its not like the ravens will over come that field goal deficit. Stupid fish.
  7. Bad things that happened this time last year : Got blown out by Titans and Chiefs Almost lost to the Fitzpatrick led Dolphins Beat the 2-14 Jets 18-10 Almost lost a 25 point lead to the Rams Almost lost to the Cam Newton led Patriots if it weren't for a last minute fumble Bad things that happened this year so far: Upset against the Steelers Tough close loss against the Titans Upset against the Jaguars I don't know. I find us to be doing better this year. Did it suck to lose to a team like the Jaguars? Sure. I don't think we are worse than last year though. We have dominated most of our opponents. I know it doesn't pass the vaunted eye test but we clearly are. Of course that is "only" because of the QB's we faced this year right? 🤔 Yeah right. These guys: Sam Darnold Ryan Fitzpatrick Jared Goff Derek Carr Ryan Tannehill Patrick Mahomes Sam Darnold Cam Newton Aren't a whole lot better than these guys at this point: Ben Roethlisberger Tua Tagovailoa / Jacoby Brissett Taylor Heinicke Davis Mills Patrick Mahomes Ryan Tannehill Tua Tagovailoa Trevor Lawrence
  8. Not to mention 3 of those points were gifted by the refs changing their mind on an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the first drive. Call it on the offense, but then let's get together and discuss and oh ok, its on the defense (White) despite the guy literally going after White like a punk. When do they even get to discuss either? How many times have we seen a bad unsportsmanlike conduct call not able to be overturned by rational discussion? But everything is up for debate apparently when it is against the bills. Ok im done venting. I don't know how anyone can blame the defense here. They held them to 9, and the offense just had to score a touchdown. one touchdown. Defense did its job.
  9. Exactly. You could see after every snap the pressure was in his face. He did quite a few checkdowns that got us nowhere. 2 seconds til he was sacked. 1 second after snap, he felt the free runner. You mistake looking for the intermediate route for feeling the pressure and running for his life.
  10. Not even a second after your screen shot. Could he have gotten the ball out? Maybe, tough to say in less than a second. Could our o line have blocked the effing terrible Jaguars defensive front 4 with 5 O lineman for more than 1 second? Sure. If Josh has that half a second longer, he dumps off to either of them for a big gain. But play was snapped at 12:23, Josh had a free runner on him at 12:22 and was sacked at 12:21. Ill defer to the o line being at fault here.
  11. I don't have all 22 but a still shot with what looks like a free defender running towards Josh and another defender winning on the other side doesn't convince me that literally a half a second after this still shot those didn't guys get to Josh. You did say it was a sack right?
  12. You literally have 3 defenders (one off screen) with no one to guard watching the screen to Moss. How can you guarantee a td there? You want discussion? That is the argument that Allen was trying for the TD, not a 5 yard gain and a field goal.
  13. I meant 96, not sure why i wrote 25. Both of those guys are a hairs breath away. Singletary hadn't completed his route yet. Show me a screen of when Singletary makes his break and is looking for the ball.
  14. #25 (edit #93) was in Josh Allen's face before Singletary even made it out of his break.
  15. There's literally 2 Jaguars spying Moss, and 1 off screen (11 bills on screen) so he was available to come up and stop Moss as well. Thats not a TD, thats a guaranteed field goal.
  16. Thats fine and all but thats also taking the blame for the O-line not giving him any time. He isn't going to outright blame them. And with that and this forum and bipolar fanbase imploding after a bad loss, I am going to call it a week for this. Bills fans can be real ugly when we lose. (obviously not referring to you, just the state of the forum.) Its like people come out of the woodwork with a obsession with trashing everything.
  17. Quite a few. And quite a few got us nothing. I'd argue a few times the quick pass to singletary with 1 half assed block in front of him killed more drives than Allen. The O-line even 6 on 4 couldn't even give Allen more than 2 seconds. I can hardly believe you can consider putting this one on Allen. He makes mistakes when he does too much, as a lot of QBs do. Look at Stafford tonight.
  18. What are you talking about? Singletary 7 catches for 43 yards Beasley 8 catches 35 yards
  19. I feel like he was doing that constantly actually.... Edit: By that I mean dumping it off to Singletary, Beasley and Moss before he went out. Beasley 8 catches for 35. Not taking the underneath? Cool Take.
  20. 🤣I imagine the media and redskins town boards were full of articles and posts about the classless chicago bears.
  21. I think it has something to do with this.... 2020 9/13 27-17 W 9/20 31-28 W 9/27 35-32 W 10/4 30-23 W 10/13 42-16 L 10/19 26-17 L 10/25 18-10 W 2021 9/12 23-16 L 9/19 35-0 W 9/26 43-21 W 10/3 40-0 W 10/10 38-20 W 10/18 34-31 L 10/31 26-11 W Point differential literally goes from: 174 Bills 178 Opponent to 229 Bills 109 Opponent Elite WR's make big plays when they are most needed. We needed Diggs to win games more last year.
  22. 20-11 Pre Allen run for all the whiners: Turnover on downs. Tua drives down for a TD. Onside kick and suddenly you are just driving 20 yards for a field goal to win it. 26-11 Post Allen run (2 pt conversion) for the people thinking it was unnecessary: Kickoff return for td Onside kick / drive down for td or hail mary
  23. This is part of it but at the end of the day some of these RBs make it happen, it isn't all the run blocking.
  24. No, they would not have. Thats why we went for 2...to make it a 3 score game if we would have succeeded. Put it another way, if we dropped the ball on the field and let the dolphins have it, would they have kneeled and ended it? Hell no they would not have. You play to finish the game. Not to mention it gives some more experience running the 2 pt conversion for when we do need it.
  25. I dont understand. We were up by 9, 3rd and 6 on the 7. You don't want us to score? Stop Allen from running into the endzone. But let's say we just dropped the ball on the ground and let the Dolphins have it. Were the Dolphins just going to kneel it and end the game? Eff no. Why is this even a discussion? It was 9 points or two possessions. Crazier things have happened in the last minute of a game. Allen did that because the team got in his face and trash talked him about the stopped 2 pt conversion. Don't trash talk when you are losing and you won't get it back. "They beat us 61 - 11 this season. but please...tell me more about how it bothers you they don’t respect us" That about sums it up.
