[Please Change Title] I'm sorry but what a moron
What a Tuel replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why would his agent suggest pittsburgh if the contract was what the Bills would have easily offered? -
Not sure if anyone else mentioned it, but you could get the game books they distribute for free and frame those instead? Won't have your seat listed though of course. I am of the same mind to want to have something to piece together like that. Some people just don't understand.

Brady tried to engineer his way to Miami: TAMPERING!
What a Tuel replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall
That begs the question, can Brady own a team and play for a team in two different cities? Or does it have to be the same city? -

Brady doesn't have the wealth to wrestle the dolphins away from Ross right? It is nagging at me all this bad press about the Dolphins coming out and then all of a sudden Brady would be part owner in some way? Like after this year, whats to stop that from happening? He probably doesnt have the $ to do that though. -

He was the interim head coach. Also its up to the candidate to win the interview. Because Mularkey was told he was going to get the job does not mean that during Horton's 4 hour interview he couldn't have convinced them that he was the better candidate. I've been told before I am a favorite for a position and even had insider preference to choose me, but I lost out because someone else convinced them they were the better fit. I find it hard to believe a court will somehow say that Mularkey on the podcast is evidence that the Titan's management's mind could not have been changed had Horton had an incredible interview. -

I'm sure Pete Carroll would've drafted Tom Brady if it weren't for being fired from the Patriots and replaced by Belichick too. -

The rooney rule itself is what is humiliating and to blame. The Titans knew who their head coach pick was, but the rule forces them to find someone who fits a particular designation in order to be cleared to hire the guy they know they want? Mularkey wasnt even an outside candidate, he was the interim head coach at the time. -

With all of this talk about Miami, is Fitzpatrick the subject of the "you're sticking with that mother$%$%#%" then? At the time I believe he was the starter and Tua was a rookie. So probably not about Tua. -
Don't Poyer and Hyde help cover up our deficiencies at corner though? Especially with White out last year? I think we'd better hit on either another CB or a S before letting him go.

What a Tuel replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its just so reminiscent of the same song and dance they told us for 20 years. Glad he's not the one in charge. -
The problem I have is this: Given the below list of 1st/2nd round pick RB's, 1) With 20/20 hindsight, which ones would you pick with a 1st round pick? and 2) without 20/20 hindsight is it worth the cost of getting it wrong? Cause that seems likely and I say no it's not. I am sure you can do this with other positions, but we need help elsewhere. 2021 - Najee Harris Travis Etienne Javonte Williams 2020 - Clyde Edwards-Helaire D'Andre Swift Jonathan Taylor Cam Akers J.K. Dobbins AJ Dillon 2019 Josh Jacobs Miles Sanders 2018 Saquon Barkley Rashaad Penny Sony Michel Nick Chubb Ronald Jones Kerryon Johnson Derrius Guice

I can see that, I dont watch tv news that much, but cant you get an antenna and get that over the air still? Some of the free cable apps give you national news free i thought but im sure that depends on what you watch. Sports I bite the bullet and subscribe to Hulu live or something for those few months and then cancel. Ultimately, the NFL was never on a streaming app though, so although this may mean it is one more streaming app, you cant really get it anywhere else. It would be pretty amazing if there was a subcription tier like nfl game pass where you could select aired games and rewatch like you pick an episode of the Office in the streaming app.

But again, want to be clear it was not cut. You can't inflate spending programs by padding them with pandemic relief money and then argue that we are gutting social programs in favor of stadiums when that pandemic relief money expires. I know you aren't arguing this but even stating it was "cut" is ceding that. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/hochuls-proposed-nys-budget-cuts-children-and-family-services-funding-by-800m/ar-AAVuWtR CNY Central has reached out directly to Governor Hochul's office for more context and perspective, as well as the Office of Children and Family Services. A spokesperson for OCFS tells CNY Central the proposed budget does not show a reduction in funding to local child protective services programs. Although the number may seem shocking, state leaders from the Governor's office and the Office of Children and Family Services tell CNY Central the absence of one-time pandemic relief money that was there before is the reason behind it.

I posted about this in the stadium thread just last night and it is a false and misleading argument. Hochul's proposed NYS budget cuts Children and Family Services funding by $800M (msn.com) "CNY Central has reached out directly to Governor Hochul's office for more context and perspective, as well as the Office of Children and Family Services. You can only watch so much content at a time. With cable you had to pay for the whole bundle. With streaming, find a service that has several shows you'll watch, and then switch it up once they are done. Max two or three at a time. Anything more is just wasteful. Right now I have netflix (my toddlers kids shows or id cancel), and Paramount+ (star trek and halo) and Peacock (Brooklyn 99, the office, and some other good background comedies). $30 a month, more than enough content. As opposed to buying 100 different cable channels on a 1 year deal for $30-40 and then $59.99-$69.99 because "$#%@ our existing customers" spectrum.

By scoring first you set the tone. Maybe a bit of desperation and panic in the other team. Maybe they make a mistake trying to force something. Meanwhile if you take the ball first, you are on your terms, not desperation mode. Kick a field goal? Ok stop them from getting a TD. Score a TD? Ok stop them from getting a TD. You are playing on your terms.

Team one can guarantee a 3rd possession by limiting the opposing offense to whatever they scored or ending the game with a stop. Team 1 scores a td and a 2 pt conversion Team 2 can be stopped altogether, be stopped from scoring a td and a 2 pt conversion Team 1 scores a TD and an extra point. Team 2 can either be stopped altogether, be stopped from scoring a TD, be stopped from scoring an extra point to force a 3rd possession, be stopped from scoring a td and a risky 2 pt conversion. Team 1 scores a field goal Team 2 can either be stopped altogether, be stopped from scoring a field goal, be stopped from scoring a td Team 1 scores nothing Team 2 can either be stopped altogether or game over. Why would you want to let the opposing team dictate what you need to do?

New OT rule is approved for postseason
What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
No doubt the forum would be happy just like the chiefs forum was. However I disagree that people wouldn't or don't think the OT rules are dumb regardless of the outcome. I don't have to put my bills goggles on to think they are dumb. There are dozens on here that complain about it every time a primetime or notable OT game happens and results in this situation or a tie. I know I think about it every time it happens. It is and always has been ridiculous that they do not give both teams the opportunity to field their entire team. It is also ridiculous there are ties in a 17 game season. Didn't an OT tie against the Lions for the steelers put them in the playoffs over an indy team with the same amount of wins? There has been a history of proposed changes to this. They just keep kicking the can down the road though. First it was field goal ended it. Then it was TD ended it, FG gave the team another chance. Now it is sudden death occurs if both teams score on their opening drives. -

What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills didn't "deserve another possession in OT" because they are the bills. Zero people are arguing that. In the context of any OT game not just the Bills, both teams deserve to have the opportunity to field the entirety of their team in OT. But even if you want to argue the point, when the game is tied 36-36, why did the chiefs defense not have to prove itself? The sole reason is a coin flip which is an awful way to decide that and i am glad they changed it although they should have changed it all the way to time expires, or first team to not score. -

The game was tied at the end of regulation. You keep flip flopping and misrepresenting it by saying "the bills should have stopped them with 13 seconds" which no one disagrees with but full stop game is TIED at that point. Not lost. Then you come to the coin flip and we say both teams should get opportunity on offense and you revert back to regulation "no because the bills should have stopped them in regulation". One is not related to the other when discussing the OT rules.
