  1. The packers historically draft fairly well so....
  2. yeah somehow i sat on the remote and switched to that instead of nfl network and realized it after they were like "and bills picked bernard, moving on to the raiders" with literally nothing on the guy.
  3. so.....4 6th round picks arent making the team. Has to have a trade somewhere right?
  4. I just dont see it with the guy and now I hope Im right.
  5. How do you watch Breece Hall and not think the same? Like I get I am a layman but looking at his highlights dont seem super impressive or anything Singletary couldnt do. The guy gets caught or nearly caught from behind too much for being fast like you want.
  6. Not only that but is it just me or was McDuffie the only CB since Gardner was taken at #4 overall? So wtf are they talking about "last choice of CB on our board"? The poster seems to just be angling towards riling fans up.
  7. Even with 1 big year, itll be tough for Davis to command 30 million. You have Bills goggles on. Not saying he's not good, just that your hope for him to be a top WR doesn't equate to that type of pay day.
  8. Just curious why you think the Bills would still have traded up if the Chiefs took their guy though? Thats what the topic was asking, did the chiefs take our guy? Consensus seems to be no, but it did appear to make Beane nervous that someone else might leapfrog us and take Elam. I think Beane ensured we got the guy we wanted at the cost of a 4th rounder, and that he did not lose out on who he wanted (outside of trading up to the top guys)
  9. Not according to Beane.
  10. Its obnoxious isn't it? As if the Chiefs didnt just trade up for McDuffie, it was utterly impossible that someone trade up for Elam? Or that it was utterly impossible that any other GM liked Elam? These people are trashing the GM with very little info to go on lol
  11. Kind of felt bad for him but im sure he doesn't feel bad, he proved them wrong and got paid. Now hes gotta bring us a lombardi to cement it.
  12. Who knows though, I think I also watched Allen's highlights when we drafted him and didnt think his throwing mechanics were ever going to work in the NFL and complained that the Bills never draft the consensus top guy like the Jets were (to get Darnold)😃
  13. Not the person you replied to, but ill admit i have an untrained eye, but doesnt it feel like the NFL makes at least 50% of the tackles he is breaking? Like the vaunted eye test feels like he is making some things happen but other things are bad tackling that won't happen at NFL level. Also feel like players catch up to him far too easily. What do I know though.
  14. First time it has moved to 3 games. in the past when Christmas landed on Sunday, they had 2 max, even sometimes 1. So it is some kind of a change.
  15. Appears he is projected as a 2nd rounder. It would certainly be a reach to take him at 25. Maybe some are hoping he falls to late 2nd?
  16. Lawmakers approve budget with $500 million for Titans' new stadium (msn.com) https://titanswire.usatoday.com/2022/04/16/tennessee-titans-new-stadium-conceptual-design/ According to Adam Friedman and Melissa Brown of The Tennessean, who cite documents from Govenor Bill Lee’s office, the approved $500 million will cost taxpayers $710 million over 20 years. The remaining funds for the enclosed stadium, which is projected to cost anywhere from $1.9 to $2.2 billion and could be finished by 2026, will come from the team, Metro Nashville, and the NFL. Looks like they will have a top on theirs
  17. He is being sued by her, not charged right? So why is everyone talking about the law? Has California charged him? In any event, it doesnt seem like this is going to amount to anything.
  18. He thought buffalo was in rhode island and we haven't been as far as the wildcard since the 40's so..... It is always fun to watch a patriots fans spirit get crushed though
  19. Really depends on the deal they make. They could easily make a team option in which all games from a team are available.
  20. Of course that will stay available, I was talking about other options as opposed to that. Shouldn't need to subscribe to 75+ channels to get one dang game that switches networks every so often.
  21. Outside of a single super bowl season, he has arguably been equal or worse than McDermott in the post season. Not to mention he had a 5 year veteran Brees when he started as opposed to McDermott with Taylor for a year and rookie Josh Allen for another. So yes of course super bowl win trumps all but the guy couldnt get back to it in 11 years afterwards with Drew Brees at QB. Why do people think super bowl is the rule for him as opposed to the exception and that we are any more likely to get there with him over McDermott? First 5 seasons - Payton 1-1 Loss NFCCG No Playoffs No Playoffs Super Bowl win 0-1 Loss Wildcard First 5 Seasons - McDermott 0-1 Loss Wildcard No Playoffs 0-1 Loss Wildcard 2-1 Loss AFCCG 1-1 Loss Divisional
  22. It is brutal. He was sitting on that bench thinking he got it done. Just brutal. Has to be crushing but he will bounce back.
  23. Im not sure this true. Anecdotal but as someone looking for a team to root for, I didnt really care where they played and almost settled on Pittsburgh due to proximity, but eventually rested on Houston Gamblers due to the Jim Kelly connection. If there was a Buffalo team it would've been a no brainer. It is a good way to keep the league's expenses down in the beginning too.
  24. Sure hope so! I do not own any apple device and havent bought into that ecosystem at all. Very much looking forward to a streaming option for the NFL in one deal rather than Fox here, NBC there, CBS Bills, ESPN Monday, etc
  25. 300 million over 7 years doesn't seem like a lot and i doubt that is even net income. Projected over 30 years it might barely cover a new stadium? Meanwhile they keep the team here and NY/Erie County rake in the tax revenue from players contracts, coach contracts, organizational payroll, ticket sales, merchandise sales, etc etc etc. The fairest way is a split between public and private funding which is what they did. Yes the state paid a bit more but they dont have the leverage being a small market team.
