I think the confusion here that this name was some injustice demonstrated upon a people despite having a strong proud Native American Logo and that renaming it corrects this huge injustice and everyone is better for it. Nothing changed for Native Americans after this name change, and it certainly didn't make things better. There are just bigger fish to fry but this takes center stage and the spotlight off of actual issues. "Yay we fixed the name now we can go back to ignoring Native American issues" is all it was.

No. They traded a day 3 pick plus a RB picked with a 3rd round pick for Hines who was picked with a 4th rounder. So if you are boiling down players for picks, a 3rd and a 5th for a 4th. Not ideal but this isnt how we should look at player trades so.....

No way. Singletary has been great. This is either about depth, kick returning, and an experienced pass catching rb for cook mature alongside instead of going in with the rookie alone.

He isnt a 3 down back. He is a pass catching back. Kind of unfair to give him 2 yards a carry on an avg of 2.5 attempts a game too... You are forgetting the rookie contract aspect. That is a large part of keeping a roster together once you have a QB. The Dolphins pay Tua in 2024 with the Option and move into his top $ contract. Now they have to pay Chubb, and Tua.

They don't have the tie breaker as we still control if we beat them or not. They also lost to the Jets, so we are in full control if we somehow tie but we are up 2 games so....

I remember in the offseason when all these arm chair GMs said all the offseason moves for the AFC West put them as the best division in football. We will see how random trades turn out for our competition. Can't deny a trade is exciting though.
