You are looking at it wrong. Beckham doesn't get us over the top, he helps increase our chance of winning. So we have the goods to win the Super Bowl, but Beckham helps increase our chances. That said, he needs to show teams he's ready. If he isn't ready until literally the super bowl game, does he even play? Like do you risk changing what you did to get there just to play him? What if he runs a wrong route? Or the QB and him just aren't in sync and it leads to an INT? There needs to be time to build up a chemistry.

Yeah thats a big red flag. White wasn't ready til a year. Everyone is different but if he isn't working out for the teams then i don't trust he plays at all this year.

We aren't scared of Arrowhead. Not sure why we continue to perpetuate the idea that we are. We are a 13 second blunder away from beating them there 3 times in a row. If Skyy Moore is emerging then Davis who has 3 times his yards and 6 more tds (than Skyy's 0) is blasting off into space.

Winning one super bowl and going back to drought era would be traumatic i think. I get the idea that we just need to get one before we think about anything more but I also don't want to go about triggering another drought era by doing so. Not to mention the Rams SB wasn't guaranteed. I think if 13 seconds didn't happen or Mahomes didn't bungle the 2nd half against the bengals, then a Chiefs or Bills vs Rams SB wouldn't have had the desired result for the Rams. And imagine where they'd be now if they didn't get it? I want the Bills to be perennial contenders.

The only risk that Allen's career will be cut short is once he slows down, will he be able to become a primary pocket passer without the threat of the run? I think he will. The whole idea that his body just won't allow him to throw the ball because he ran too much is silly.

The "ball did not survive the ground" rule
What a Tuel replied to Repulsif's topic in The Stadium Wall
I dont think they got it wrong, the whole surviving the ground thing just needs to be updated to be dropping the ball. If he maintains possession in bounds, then he should be able to juggle the ball all he wants on the way to the ground as long as the ball doesn't hit the ground. Possession in bounds occurred already. -

No, because he dropped the ball.... I can see your argument if the ball hit the ground when Poyer lost control but it did not. So Poyer catches ball in bounds, tucks it, bobbles it after hitting ground out of bounds, regains control. We acknowledge Poyer caught the ball and gained possession in bounds. We claim poyer lost possession and regained possession out of bounds so 1st catch doesn't count? Just seems silly Do you think Meyers catch would have been ruled incomplete if he maintained possession to the ground despite bobbling it? No. -

People understand the ruling they dont understand why it is a thing. Why if bolded sentence 1 is true then bolded sentence two exists? If he has control and got two feet down, then it is a catch. Anything after that should be a potential fumble. McD couldn't challenge as it was ruled a turnover then reviewed and overturned. -
Is McDermott the Only Coach to Beat Belichick Three Straight Games?
What a Tuel replied to K-9's topic in The Stadium Wall
Haha, yes i somehow it slipped my mind we play them again with only 5 games left. Anything greater than 2 I grabbed so that is all of them. -
Is his visit to Dallas still pending or is that done? I know he visited the Giants already. Curious if we are the last stop and maybe a decision is made soon.

The "ball did not survive the ground" rule

I just want to add for the record that we are discussing this even though we handily won. So all those who say we only talk about this stuff as an excuse for losing can suck it. -

The problem is he clearly had possession when he had his feet down. Anything after that should be considered a fumble. How can the officials agree you have possession of the ball in bounds (and they would have if he hadn't bobbled it) but then bobble it on the ground and suggest that means you gained possession out of bounds? -

No problem, I was curious to know too. 3 game streak. Next year extend it to the record 5 cause this pats team isnt going to the playoffs. -

Looks like Denver (Mike Shanahan) beat him early on 3 times in a row. I'm not discounting or minimizing them. I acknowledge they were game changing mistakes. However they were game changing mistakes that put a black mark on an otherwise good performance. Momentum changers.

1) Chiefs never led by more than 3 points, so....? Yes, Ravens should have closed their games, just like they should have against the Dolphins. 2) The Bills are 5-2 in games where they had 2 score leads at any point in the game. Like I already told you, the two losses were Vikings/Jets where Josh and the defense made a few game changing mistakes. We played good games if it weren't for those mistakes.

Davis just has to work on his drops. Tee Higgins one of the best WR2 in the league has 57/80 826 yards 14.5 YPC 4 TDs Gabe Davis who you guys are dumping on has 33/60 650 yards 19.7 YPC 5 TDs If Davis converts some of those drops into catches, he would be doing more with less targets than Tee Higgins. I get would of/could of/should of, but it is hopefully something he can work on.

Anyone who watched the games knows the Packers, Jets, Vikings games were heading to blowouts until Josh made a few unusual errors in the Packers/Jets games, and the defense allowed Cook that long run in the Vikings game. No I don't think there are easy wins, but we have a good chance to win every remaining game. Steelers - 38-3 - Blow out Chiefs - 24-20 - Contested game, both defenses stepped up against both Mahomes and Allen but both still made plays Packers - 27-10 - 4th Quarter Packers turnover on downs, Josh throws an interception, Rodgers throws an interception, then Allen throws an interception right back. Jets - 14-3 (Should've been 17-3 or 21-3 if it weren't for Josh's interception on the Jets 13 yard line - After half defense causes a fumble, then Josh throws it right back to them giving them the ball at the Buffalo 19 soon to be 17-14 Jets) Vikings - 27-10 - 1:34 left 3rd quarter - 81 Yard Cook run Browns - 31-16 with 1:56 left in 4th quarter Lions - Contested game Throw in the Rams, Titans and Ravens game and yeah if you watch the games, we have the potential to blow people out more than have contested games. In fact we've led by 2 scores in every game except Dolphins, Ravens, Chiefs, and Lions. 4-0 2 score games 4-3 1 score games

I think in the next 3 weeks we will see at least 2 of the AFC East teams fall away from being wild card to slightly above Colts/Raiders/Browns. Like a game or 2 ahead. Not super impressive. I think the biggest thing to note is Dolphins/Pats had the easy part of their schedules: http://www.powerrankingsguru.com/nfl/strength-of-schedule.php Strength of schedule so far: Patriots 21st Dolphins 12th Jets 7th Bills 4th Strength of schedule remaining games Patriots 2nd Dolphins 3rd Bills 10th Jets 11th I can see both the Dolphins and Patriots losing more than winning their remaining schedules while I dont think Mike White is going to hold up for the Jets despite the consistency of their SOS for remaining games.

There is an undeniable conflict that goes on in your head when you do. Detroit +9 sure at least you aren't actively betting on your team to lose, but whatever you are still rooting for Detroit to keep it close. But bets against the Bills on the money line? That's just straight up betting for your team to lose. Especially when someone puts $5 bet on Patriots so they have bragging rights on the forum that they were right? Yuck. Also I never said bet on the Bills to win just because we want them to. I just stay away from Bills games altogether.
-
We literally have people betting against the Bills on the Bills forums and people have the audacity to complain that we criticize those people for bashing the team too much too often. Incredible.
-
Why do I feel like if these signings were flipped, we'd be talking about how the Bills picked up a guy with a fumbling problem, a no name WR, and an injury prone WR, while the chiefs signed a starting CB in Xavier Rhodes, a great pass catching back and returner in Naheem Hines, and John Brown who did ok for the Bills back in the day and AJ Klein to bolster their defense?
