At this moment, we draft at 16 next year, probably 15 after this week. We weren't getting one of the top QBs anyway. And would anyone really be calling for us to reach for a 2nd round QB with our 1st round pick anyway? Put a different way would we want which of the following: Watkins minus a 2015 1st and 4th Mariotta minus a 2016 1st + a likely 2017 1st + possibly more to move up to 1st overall Winston minus a 2016 1st + a likely 2017 1st + possibly more to move up to 2nd overall Not trade up at all, and hope a "fly under the radar franchise QB falls to us" at pick 15 I think I'll still take Watkins. No I don't know how we will get a franchise QB.

what? How did he panic? Let's find out if he lost after a few years. I can just picture the same exact topic for Beckham with these QBs that we have. "Did Whaley panic and grab a Beckham because Evans was gone? Why don't we ever trade up? Watkins is doing amazing on the Giants" I know Bills fans have a habit of running their players out of town but geez. Give them a shot/chance before calling them a bust. These are less than ideal QB situations. If you didn't mean the Watkins/1st over Beckham deal, then I apologize for my assumption.

Playoff machine is either broken or is giving us a lot more tie breakers than we are giving credit for. -

Their defense isn't bad. I think they may surprise people too. The problem is Baltimore needs to lose 2 though, and it's hard to believe they lose 2 against sub par teams, unless Manziel somehow turns it around. -

Yes they do I'm not sure the Texans have a shot to beat Baltimore but I never rule out division games (Browns @ Ravens). Those games can be scary. Like Kansas City against Oakland a few weeks ago. -
It isn't about him being an elite QB, it is that he is a clear upgrade to what we have. The reason they have to bribe teams to take him off their hands is because of the heavy contract. He just isn't worth the contract. That doesn't mean he isn't an NFL QB. That said, unless his contract changes dramatically, I say no.

DeMarco Murray - play him in championship???
What a Tuel replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in Fantasy Football
I'm not but I have Ingram as a backup. I think I am just not going to take the chance he hits his hand and disappears throughout the game. That is the worst. Especially for the championship. The "experts" are saying that you HAVE to start him if he plays and take the chance though. -

3) Bills win in Oakland and are on their way to winning in New England with a Tom Brady Pick Six, when we get the news that Cincinatti beat Pittsburgh, and there is no way to get to the playoffs, even if we win. 4) Bills win out, and are on their way to winning in New England, when we get the news that everything went our way, and we are going to the playoffs for the first time in 14 years. -

That one of them had to lose so the Jets are still 6th overall pick at 3-11!! Bad time to suck. -

Slow eyes. -
Haha congrats. I'm in the same boat this year, 2 out of 3 championships coming this week, and would've destroyed the competition had I made the playoffs in the 3rd. 2 points away from pulling a hat trick with the championships in 3 leagues.

But the Bills lost at home against the patriots. So when it comes to the Bills vs Pats, it's reverse homefield advantage aka Bills win. -
Demarco Murray out with broken hand...
What a Tuel replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll take it as a learning experience. I had Le'Veon Bell as my other RB, and Gore, and Ingram on my bench. I was never going to play Gore again. I knew that, I guess I just thought that I would likely lose if Murray got hurt anyway so there wasn't much point to handcuffing Randle. Now I know, Murray could break his damn hand in the last 3 minutes of the game, and I moved on to the Championship anyway. Live and learn. -

I think he should start.....I may be bias though because he is on my championship team. I just want them to make it look like he is going to play all the way up to the start of the game. I was an idiot and didn't think it was necessary to pick up Randle prior to this and my opponent with poor RB's grabbed him ahead of me in waivers. As for real football, they should definitely and probably will rest him. -

That's absurd. Ties should not count as wins at all. The benefit of a tie lies in the fact that you didn't get a loss. If you want credit for a win, win. I know this has probably been the way they always have done it, but geez I never knew that, and I hate it. -

So the playoff machine is telling me a 9-5-2 Bengals team would beat out a 10-6 Bills team for the 6th seed. That can't be true right? More wins always trumps other records right? I thought this thing would be built to be flawless. -

Assuming KC + SD lose one each Cincinatti - 2-0 Pittsburgh - 1-1 Baltimore - 1-1 We don't get in. Cincinatti - 1-1 Pittsburgh - 1-1 Baltimore - 2-0 We don't get in. Cincinatti - 1-1 Pittsburgh - 2-0 Baltimore - 1-1 We get in We are really rooting for Pittsburgh. Or else we will need to rely on two of the AFC North teams losing 2 games like you describe. Or this situation -

Past success is not a guarentee of future results. It's like the 3.5% odds to make the playoffs we keep seeing. It only serves to demoralize and turn the fanbase in on itself. We can win this game, but first lets go to oakland and take care of business. -

Brady competes about 10 seconds in -
Pats are 11-3 and Denver is 11-3. Wouldn't the Pats winning next week, and losing to the Bills Week 17 put them at 12-4, and Denver winning the next two weeks put Denver at 13-3? So with Denver at 13-3, and with the Pats at 12-4, wouldn't Denver get the number 1 seed and get home field for the conference championship if it came to that? Edit: so in all reality, we want Denver to beat Cincinatti, but if they do, New England will have competition for the 1st seed in week 17 so they will likely have something to play for. I wouldn't want it any other way though.

Is there any doubt that our offense almost gave away the game yesterday, and did give away other games that put us in the precarious playoff predicament that we are in? Orton is not the answer next year. Maybe Manuel is, maybe he isn't, but we clearly need another Vet. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for Eli. Doubt it will happen though.
