  1. Lets use that community money we raised to keep the Bills here, and buy the video and extort Dez to come here!
  2. I think that was speculation as a result of your first question of why they wouldn't have just released the video.
  3. If the above were true, the extortionists would likely want to keep their source of income and not be so quick to release it. It will come out in time though.
  4. What are the repercussions if that was the case? For some reason I wouldn't put it past Jerry Jones....
  5. Oh, so a bad o-line, bad offensive coaching, bad running game are all valid excuses as to why a QB's play would suffer? I would never have guessed. EJ (Rookie - 10 games) 28 20+ yd passes Bradford (Best year - 16 games) 41 20+ yd passes I know, I know, eye test something or other.
  6. I thought Bradfords agent basically came out and said "it was worth a shot"? Edit: I can't find where I read that so disregard it. On another note I heard noone has contacted the Colts about trading Luck! Luck might be a Bill!
  7. This is great and all but some designs need an update like the Browns, and not just a brighter color. I think a new logo would revitalize that fan base, but then again it isn't my team so what do I know. http://i.imgur.com/w1rCbYN.jpgI think this one looks great and would give the Browns an identity. I know they aren't the "dawgs" but still something besides the Browns and a logoless logo. The identity of the team gets lost when it is named after a person that I would bet most Brown's fans couldn't accurately remember.
  8. The guy broke his collarbone and we went from 2nd in rushing in 2013 to 25th in 2014. That is clearly not only a result of missing Spiller for half the year, but a clear indication something was wrong this past year on offense. Regression in all departments.
  9. Ah, that makes it a bit better. Still pricey though with the draft pick.
  10. They are multiplying! http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000473840/article/no-team-has-contacted-rams-regarding-sam-bradford
  11. I tried Bradford comes with a $16.5 million dollar price tag. You are saying to give up a draft pick and obtain a guy with a 1 year $16.5 million dollar contract?
  12. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000473840/article/no-team-has-contacted-rams-regarding-sam-bradford Or not. "No team has contacted Rams regarding Sam Bradford"
  13. I'm with you on wanting him back for a reasonable price. I think the running game suffered this year. We went from 2nd in ypg (144.2) in rushing in 2013, to 25th in ypg (92.6) in 2014. Something changed, and it was for the worse. I wouldn't put that all on Spiller.
  14. I think the determining factor would be whether or not there is a suitable replacement. Getting rid of someone just to get rid of them is stupid. Keep him on the team while pursuing other options and competition, like we are doing right now. Most EJ supporters are all for bringing in competition, but stop short of throwing 50% of our cap space or more at that competition (ie bradford, cutler). God forbid, if we are in the same spot in 2016, and EJ beats said competition out, then we are playing the best QB option we have got. I don't think we ever stop looking for another QB though, even this year. Is that what people think happens when we play EJ? Cutting EJ at any point doesn't mean a magical franchise QB pops out of the hopper.
  15. I'll never understand how we can all admit we have several problems on offense including tight end, o line, running game (as a result of oline), coaching, inexperience and yet these are all labeled as excuses as to why Manuel performed poorly. These aren't excuses they are legitimate reasons of why a player is not performing as expected. Whether or not Manuel will turn out to be good or not is debatable and no one knows the answer to that, but he certainly isn't being set up to succeed. I also find it interesting how Thad Lewis was able to go in and win us a few games last year, but this year in preseason he couldn't complete a pass. I also feel like Orton wasn't performing up to his par either most of the time.
  16. It is never too early to talk about the positive direction of the franchise. I know the last 15 years have been a nightmare, but this is part of being a fan.
  17. Those are some interesting points. That would be a huge move if the Bills did that, and it would generate an insane level of excitement. Similar to most people saying they didn't want Rex Ryan, and now we love him. I'm not sold on Griffin as a player yet, but like I said interesting....
  18. Well I wasn't aiming it specifically at you, although I did quote you. I did say I keep hearing this excuse. I heard it recently with Bradford and the Rams. Also 2013 is a reflection of the year Manuel played the most games, it is just a better sample size since he was benched in 2014. We do overestimate our WR's. While they are young talented players, they aren't spectacular outside of Sammy Watkins. And I do really like Woods and he definitely deserves a spot on the team. Put it to poor QB play, but the same could be said for the Rams or the Browns WR's as well. Andrew Hawkins comes to mind as someone the Browns would say is better than Woods. It is debatable but that's the point. Outside of Sammy, we have Woods and..... I guess the point is that Manuel doesn't get the WR excuse so why should Hoyer?
  19. I keep hearing this excuse but I just don't see it besides Sammy now. We always overrate everyone except our QB and underrate the poor teams talent. In his first year, EJ had an injured (and some (not me) would say not suitable) WR in Stevie Johnson and......Woods the rookie albeit he was good. This year we got better with Watkins but then we sabotaged ourselves by not playing Williams. Then again Manuel only got 4 games and got benched and now we need a big target WR again.
  20. This is short and well stated. He isn't good, and is only the best of poor qbs. Even that is debatable.
  21. FYI Mario averages 16 million a year. 5 yrs 47.5 24 guarenteed
  22. But Bradford passes the "eye test". In all seriousness, I would be ok with Bradford coming in and competing for a low draft pick. But Cap hit does suck so maybe not, and it would be a risk. Bills fans just have a love affair with "what if" scenarios at the QB position. Very quickly snatch up any QB they have heard of before, and just as quickly discard them when they don't pass the eye test. The QB everyone is dreaming of isn't out there this year. It is time we realize that and work to make it much easier for these mediocre QBs to succeed, rather than sign high priced unproven QB's just so we can play out our "what if" fantasies.
  23. I believe the front office is. There certainly aren't any all pros available. I also believe most of the available qbs would suffer from our offensive deficiencies as manuel and orton did.
