Pull up a list of 1,000 yard WR's for 2014 and tell me you wouldn't want a single one of those on the Bills. 1,000 yard WR's aren't as common as you want to believe. No they didn't play him the second half of the year. That is different than not getting targets. The reasons why they didn't play him are debatable. Also it is good to note that he wasn't on the field every play in those games like Crabtree was. He matched Crabtree's stats and didn't play the same number of downs.

If he would have had the playing time? He was on par for a nearly 1,000 yard season this year. Crabtree - First 8 games 37 receptions 362 yards 3 tds Stevie Johnson - When he actually got playing time in the first 8 games 28 receptions 356 yards 3 tds Edit: I'll throw Anquan Boldin in too since he is technically their #1 WR Anquan Boldin 45 receptions 540 yds 2 tds

While I agree that Reed was way better than Stevie, I knew this was going to develop into that meaning Stevie Johnson wasn't good. He was good. He had 3 1,000 yard seasons with Fitzpatrick throwing to him. And while he didn't have to share his targets, he had no other receivers to take off the pressure either. Receivers just don't get yards by default because they are the only guy, they still have to play against defenses..

Our redzone offense was horrid. You are trying to tell me having Mike Williams or Stevie Johnson, would not have had an improvement? Also there were several games that were close. Texans, Chiefs, Dolphins (probably our worst offensive showing), Raiders. 3 out of those 4 were decided by less than a touchdown. A red zone target would have made a difference.

I have watched him occasionally the last couple years, but not much before the Bears. I form my opinion on 12 different seasons, and 7 different teams in which he wasn't considered good enough to start and often got replaced or chosen over. To me that outweighs one good season with the Bears. Especially since they didn't even see the value in how well he did for them that year, and didn't feel the need to re-sign him the next

RUMOR: EJ Manuel Likely To Be Cut

Agreed. At least change the title to " EJ Manuel might be cut" or something. Likely feels as if it is a foregone conclusion. Copy and paste the IMO into word or even the shout box. It is an i -

Yeah I am not sure how they got there either. If this were the case the Patriots were looking for anyone, other than Tom Brady when they were looking at QB's in last years draft and drafted Garoppolo in the 2nd round. Or the Giants with Nassib. Or the Steelers with Jones. Or the Broncos with Osweiler. Or the Redskins with Cousins (right after they gave away their future) Good teams draft QBs all the time. -

Browns fans wanted Manuel if he was really cut. http://thebrownsboard.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=32141 -
RUMOR: EJ Manuel Likely To Be Cut
What a Tuel replied to negativo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure, but he made this prediction after everyone knew the Bills were meeting with McCown. I believe he did the same after the Bills were meeting with Rex Ryan (at that point everyone assumed it was just out of respect). Unless I am wrong and he told everyone before that initial meeting. I'll maybe start believing if I hear the Bills are in contract talks with Locker. Maybe. -

3 year deal.... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000474978/article/josh-mccown-cleveland-browns-reach-3year-deal I guess that's why. The dollar amount matters too, but I sure as heck bet we didn't offer him 3 years lol. -
RUMOR: EJ Manuel Likely To Be Cut

How can he be wrong? I mean unless the Front Office comes out and says "that wasn't the plan", he can never be wrong. It will always be "well the plan just went off track, but they were trying!" -
RUMOR: EJ Manuel Likely To Be Cut

EJ regressed in the 4 games he played in 2014. There is no explanation for that. He showed he can play much better than that his rookie season. That isn't saying his rookie season was spectacular, but I believe other factors played a role, and that those 4 games (a very small sample size) weren't showing his abilities. I mean our running game did go from 2nd to 25th from 2013 to 2014. The whole offense regressed. The reasons why are debatable but I don't think EJ is the reason. -

I think excited is the wrong term. "Better than EJ" I think is the common attitude which is of course absurd. -
I believe that he is saying that this is the bills plan and not that it is predicting the future. It means things can go wrong like not picking up locker because someone offered more money or whatever, but it also makes it very hard for Leroi to be wrong or proven right unless someone from the bills org confirms or denies which will likely never happen.

People aren't really going out on a limb when they claim a team won't go to the super bowl, so I take it with a grain of salt. They are playing with straight up 32/1 odds after all. Odds are they will be right, and can say they told us so. We all know that isn't how it works though. I'd rather go through, you know, actually rooting for my team before making such proclamations. To each their own. Edit: Why isn't this a done deal? I surely hope he isn't holding out for more money or something.

Obviously EJ will need to improve from his performance in the last 4 games he played, but his rookie year performance beats McCown/Orton. Towards the end of the season I wasn't seeing a difference between Orton and EJ. Orton was underthrowing receivers, leading them into big hits, and was a statue in the pocket. He was better his first 4-5 games but after that....

What are peoples infatuation with Hoyer? He hasn't done anything in his 6 years in the league either, granted he was a backup for most of them. With Josh Gordon back he went the following for the last 4 games with the playoffs on the line Won Falcons 322 yds 0 tds 3 ints Loss Bills 192 yds 0 tds 2 ints Loss Colts 136 yds 0 tds 2 ints Didn't play against Bengals Loss Panthers 134 yds 1 td 1 int (Partial game)
