Yeah, I would have to agree. Neglect isn't a word I'd use. I've said this in another thread, but I am not sure why Whaley was expected to know that Tyrod's injury would have taken place against a team like the Jaguars, that would mask his deep pass deficiencies. On top of that, everyone forgets about the Bengals. I have far more confidence to this day with Manuel against the Bengals than Cassel.

What the Models Predict for the Rest of the Season

Are you for real? Have some hope man. There is no prize for calling the season the earliest. -
Just can't re-boot the enthusiasm

Roman had a decent offense when it wasn't destroyed by injuries. The Bills missing the Playoffs for 15 years has no impact on this season. I disagree that Rex is on a downward spiral, but he has to get the Dline to be doing what it does best. We didn't lose to the jags. Manuel threw that game away. No pick sixes = 13-7 at the half with the jaguars losing. Take solace in the fact that we came back 27-3 to nearly win it. Lastly, each game is it's own matchup. The Titans gave the Falcons a run for their money, and a 1-5 Baltimore team nearly beat a 5-2 Arizona Cardinals. Do you think Cardinal fans are pitying themselves about how they almost lost? So take your optimism back! Maybe we win, maybe we lose, but it makes it a lot more fun of an experience than being that sarcastic bills fan, that ruins everyone's good thoughts! -
In the last 20 years the Bills have

The premise of this thread is that they didn't try, or at least they tried far less than any other teams. No one is happy with the outcome, but that isn't the point the OP is trying to make. -
I think that you are infatuated with the idea of starting fresh, clean slate, from scratch, etc. I get it. I think you are wrong, but I get it.

What would you trade for Tannehill?

Calling each other fair weather fans. What exactly is a fair weather fan in Miami? -
Because we don't have pitchforks. Seriously though, why does someone need to be blamed at this point for 3-4? There are a number of considerations as to why we are 3-4. Not the least of them is half of the starting offense that Whaley actually built were injured the last two games. I mean come on. Take a deep breath.

I know this is the TWD thread, but you complain about that but then do that?
-
I think the majority of the Fire Whaley club believe that because of his ego, Whaley couldn't let EJ go which resulted directly in a loss to the Jaguars. I am not convinced that Cassel would've done better, but I do believe the short passes Cassel makes might have done just fine against the Jaguars, but Tyrod being injured against a team that masks Cassel's flaws isn't something I expect Whaley to predict. There may also be some theories on missed opportunities since we had Manuel. I don't know of any specifically though.

I would agree it was a bad move solely because he can't win. That said, the people who he was criticizing deserved what they got.
-
Then who are you getting offended for?
-
For the last time it was taking a shot at the people bashing him for being at disney with his family. How many times have you seen two people arguing and one argue that you make pennies compared to him? It happens on this very forum with salary comparison. He was simply hitting those people where it hurts. They deserved it. Like I said elsewhere, if you weren't bashing Sammy and injuries that are out of his control, then you are fine.
-
I think criticism of his stats without a decent QB amplifies it though. I am sure he is well aware of that already though, so I see your point. I just don't see how fans railing on him for this stuff helps any.
-
Fans railing on him for something out of his control pushes him away from us. Our QB situation doesn't help either. So yes, it makes it easier for him to say CYA in 2018
-
Sammy says Hi!
-
Sure you can be offended, but you can also be rational and know Sammy was just taking a shot at the people who were taking a shot at him. It's easy to be offended, hard to think rationally.
-
Because in his original post he speaks of them. "To all the people that have a problem with me being injured"
-
Because we aren't the douchebags that set him off? I am confident with my life, and don't need Sammy Watkins affirmation that I am not a loser.
-
I don't believe those are the people he is criticizing. It is the people criticizing Watkins on his accounts because he is injured. Sammy posts pic of his family at disneyland. "What are you doing walking around Disneyland with your family? Shouldn't you be training, and working out so that you aren't such a bust? #glasswatkins" = the people Sammy, and the rest of us are criticizing.
-
I think we heard you the first time. Quit trolling.
-
Man, we are straight up chasing this guy out of Buffalo because he had unlucky injuries. Get it straight people, you fired first, on his instagram, on his facebook, on his twitter. Sure that happens to all athletes, but when they fire back don't act shocked and appalled because you acted like the douchebags first.

Phantom call on Robey =Royally Screwed in England
What a Tuel replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The people upstairs who review TO's, and scoring plays should also be looking for clearly blown calls. The play is already stopped for the penalty so it wouldn't take much time. Of course this should only be on flags thrown, as that is an official interference into the game rather than looking for penalties that should have been called but were not. Either that or like you said above make these penalties challengable under the same challenge limits. Edit: On another note, if these are all "legitimate" flags and the officials are just calling them more (noticeable uptick in flags thrown), then maybe the rules need to be changed. If football was more enjoyable with less flags, and players presumably getting away with fouls 5 years ago that they aren't now, then either change the rules or tell the officials to lighten up. Just my 2 cents, flag football is no fun.
