I hate to admit it, but Taylor sucks
What a Tuel replied to Doug Flutie Band's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just wanted EJ in because Tyrod looked to be injured and incapable of throwing downfield. Tyrod is clearly better and needs more time. We need to be prepared if he doesn't turn out though, so spending a draft pick on a QB isn't a bad idea. Let's not put all our eggs in one basket - again. -

Don't you dare blame the d..... -
An extra win will make the difference too. Like if we lost 3 of the next 6. You know an extra win would kind of help. Play every game.

I would say ask Tyrod but he hasn't seen him.

MNF Bills pats*** second half game thread
What a Tuel replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have watched a good hard fought game with some good plays on offense eclipsed by the NE defense shutting them down on others. It isn't nearly as bad as you think right now, and it isn't nearly as bad as you thought it would be. -

On the other hand if McCoy comes down with it, which he should have, we are up 10-3 close to the half, and it was a great call. But of course the opposite of whatever we do will always be the right call for the fans. -

It's annoying that they are currently going off on Rex for being emotional and coaching on emotion which is entirely built on Rex saying stuff to the press. -

Well they have lost in the Playoffs to Denver (Twice), Baltimore (Twice), New York Jets, and Indianapolis pretty recently. There is a reason they single out those teams in the article. If those teams were truly pathetic, then it is pathetic that they lost to them. Edit: If you take a stroll to their forums, they have constant news updates on the misery of Baltimore this year. That's how bitter they are. -

As far as I can tell it goes like this: With a win tonight we get the 5th seed since we would be tied with the Steelers, and we win the conference tie breaker. With a loss tonight, the Steelers secure the 5th seed for now, and the Bills are tied with the Chiefs, Houston, and the Jets. Jets are excluded because of division tie-breaker. KC Conf 4-2 (.667 Win PCT) Houston Conf 4-3 (.571 Win PCT) Bills Conf 5-4 (.555 Win PCT) So 8th unfortunately. Texans and Chiefs games are going to be a big deal. Edit: Just realized the Chiefs play the Texans and won. So if it came down to our 3 teams. To win the tiebreaker we can't lose to the Chiefs. They would get the tiebreaker for beating the texans and us. Losing to the Texans and beating the Chiefs would not be as critical of a loss as it would go down to tiebreaker. Trying to figure out if it's better or worse for KC and HOU to have 11/12 games against AFC opponents left. If they each lose 2 more games to AFC opponents to round out their records at 9-7 then their conference record would be: Houston Conf 7-5 (.583 Win PCT) KC Conf 8-4 (.667 Win PCT) With a loss to the Pats, the Bills would need to run the table on the AFC (Hou, KC, NYJ) to tie KC in conference record at 8-4 (.667 Win PCT) The tie breaker would then go to strength of victory. Chiefs 2.4 at the moment and Bills 2.0 at the moment. So at a certain point, we may need to root for opponents we've beaten like the Dolphins, Colts, and Titans to win. -
And yet it is better than a 1,000 yard WR. YAC per reception is a watered down situational stat.

Sprinkle in some random names, and it is even funnier. Like watching a Jimmy Kimmel Lie Witness News sketch -
The part I don't understand is when you blame the scheme but by the end of the post you say you expect more from Watkins, and he should do better.
-
Seriously? Again with Hopkins? How many times do I have to post this? Honestly, you don't want the reasons, but you keep asking the question. Sammy 5 games 32 Targets 329 yards 3 TDS 6.4 targets, 65.8 yards, .6 TDs a game Hopkins 10 games 137 targets, 1,045 yards 9 TDs 13.7 targets, 104.5 yards, .9 TDs a game If Watkins had twice the targets he would be doing better than Hopkins (Unless you want to factor in injuries as a "Watkin's issue"). Now I know you won't take this, but we know he gets open, and the reason we aren't targeting Watkins is because of either Tyrod is going through his progressions and not seeing Watkins and/or they aren't making Watkins the focal point of the game plan. And the fact that the Texans have thrown 282 times to the Bills 260 times (151 of which were when Watkins wasn't playing) or (21.8 throws per game when Watkins is playing to the Texans 28.2 throws a game)

Bet they wish they re-signed Taylor haha. And Forsett is out. They still have Schaub though but yeah maybe not that one so much. Every game is it's own matchup though. No one said the Bengals would lose to the Texans either, and suddenly the Texans are contenders -

Eh. Good QB is a funny thing. If the team is doing good, then the QB must be good (Dalton, Bridgewater, Newton, Roethlisberger), but if they are doing bad then they don't have a good QB (Rivers, Either Manning, Brees). Even Rodgers was starting to get questioned for a bit there. Good QB play will beat a team that doesn't have a good QB (ala Bills vs Pats last 15 years), but it doesn't guarantee a spot in the playoffs every year (Roethlisberger 1 out of last 3 years) As for everyone giving Kansas City the 5th seed, I don't know they capitalized on a imploding Peyton Manning one week. I just don't give them a lot of credit. They lost 4 in a row at one point. They will play us tough, and maybe we lose that game, maybe we don't. It will be close for sure, but I don't think their games against the Raiders (Twice), Ravens, or us are easy games by any means. -

Depending on other games if the Bills win in NE and lose to KC. The Bills would be 6-5 and the Chiefs will be 6-5. Then depending on the Steelers game at Seattle, the Steelers will be either 7-4 or 6-5. As it stands at that point, if they lost then KC would take 5th Wildcard, and the Bills would take 6th. If they won then the Steelers would take 5th, and KC would take 6th. Either way it completely changes from week to week. One game at a time! NE tomorrow! -

No problem. It was curious to me how a play could go for 0 seconds too. Had to check it out. It would definitely be a screw up of the Patriots variety haha. -

I've been meaning to go back and look because a lot of people were complaining. What seems to have happened was this: 2:34 Eli Manning throws 30 yards to Harris which seemingly takes 24 seconds off the clock and leaves it at 2:10. Patriots called timeout. Go to commercial 2:14 on the clock after commercial. They reset the game clock 4 seconds to account for the Patriots calling the timeout. The commentary even mentions that they reset the clock. 2:14 Giants run Jennings for 5 yards. 4 seconds come off the clock before Patriots call timeout leaving the clock at 2:10 -

It's not about the question itself, which could've been asked in a number of threads. It was the tone which could've been lost in transit, but had 3 aspects: 1. Aggravation with Williams for being questionable (What the hell is this kid doing?) 2. Annoyance that it is happening again (concussions before and now THIS?!) 3. Seemingly has to do more with fantasy than the detriment of the Bills team. (How am I going to win in Fantasy now?!) I admit it, I do it for other players all the time when talking to people about players on my fantasy team (like Forte), but when you post on a fan message board with that kind of tone, and reasoning, be prepared for some backlash. That is just people's interpretation. He could've just noticed it on his Fantasy app, and really cared about losing him for a game the Bills could really use him. -
