  1. Unfortunately because of the weather, and Sammy's past two games, I didn't but I still won! Now the question is Sammy this week against the Texan pass rush. I think I have to start him.
  2. They just let half of them go through their hands.
  3. Not only did he come back, but he doubled down with a new post. Sammy had 6 targets in the New England game. 3 catches. So since I have looked at each target recently let's focus on the 3 "drops". 1 was uncatchable 10 yards out of bounds. 1 he didn't "fight back for" 1 he did fight back for and got the PI So 3 misses in New England? Take a step back and realize you are being ridiculous.
  4. I'd say Winston. Carr may be more predictable, but the Titans Defense has been shutting down certain players from a fantasy stand point week after week. I don't think the Colts can make the same claim.
  5. Didn't realize the check engine light was on for 2 months?......
  6. Heath is always all about our Bills no matter how much we let him down. Hopefully we can make a playoff run, and make him look good! http://www.nfl.com/videos/buffalo-bills/0ap3000000487567/Heath-Evans-predicts-12-4-record-for-Bills
  7. Yeah I hear his WR's are a bad matchup for Seattle. Rivers has nearly (and actually) burned me a few times this season. Yet again thanks for the advice! Good luck to you too!
  8. Thanks, I think that is who I will play.
  9. If NY won the courts consideration of banning DFS, I do not believe NYS would then pass a law saying it was legal if they pay them more money. I don't believe they will win this first round though, so I believe they will negotiate a way to take these companies down a notch and regulate the industry. That is still only by failing to ban it though, IMO.
  10. Why? I think they have a tougher schedule than us, and I believe we will end up with the conference tiebreaker over them. They may be a game ahead of us, but they win 3 of the next 6 and I don't think they make the playoffs.
  11. Then why is Online Poker not legal still?
  12. How so? What do they gain financially by banning it? Currently winners still need to claim their winnings as income for tax purposes. (They are supposed to anyway.)
  13. Ok, I have a bit of a conundrum here. One league I have: Bortles vs SD Rivers @ JAC and another league I have: Rivers @ JAC Roethlisberger @ Seattle I think I am 95% sure I want to play Bortles over Rivers in that game. However the second league is a more difficult choice, and I need this win! So do I play Rivers and hope he finds his few remaining weapons, or trust Roethlisberger to work his magic up in Seattle?
  14. Ok as we all know, Sammy has not been getting the ball these last two games, but Rex has said they need to! So with that under consideration and the Chiefs allowing the 2nd most average fantasy points to wide receivers, do I start Sammy Watkins? This is a must win for me. My other wideouts are: Calvin Johnson (locked in at WR1 Thank God) Stefon Diggs @ATL Amari Cooper @TEN So basically pick 2 of the 3 WR's for my WR2 and Flex.
  15. I'd go with that. That is why I say NYS has ulterior motives for banning it rather than it simply being technically "gambling" and not liking it. There is a reason they are avoiding season long fantasy, and that difference is the large transfer of money happening weekly with daily fantasy. We are talking about a ton of money. Some people have been saying it's NYS supporting the brick and mortar gambling ventures like the lottery, and casinos, but I don't buy that,
  16. It's skill based in the way that Poker Champions are skilled. The difference is that the high level players are preying on the run of the mill players and cashing in, in a big way. Our resident FanDuel promotion specialist disagrees though. You can win 20k just by setting a lineup! Just pick all the best players!
  17. Eh, I don't think they will be able to hold together a winning streak that will stay in competition with the rest of the WC teams. They've got the Saints, who I believe will outscore them no matter how poor the Saints defense is. Then they have the Bills. It will be a tough game no doubt, but they will be coming up here so hopefully we have the edge. Then the Patriots, can't see the Pats losing here. Then the division run of Colts, Titans, Jaguars. I would just be shocked if they string together 4 out of 6 of those games.
  18. Not wrong. He is saying if we lose tomorrow, and win the 5 remaining games we will be 10-6, and then if Pittsburgh lost to Seattle, and Cincinatti, they would also be 10-6, and we would hold the tie breaker. He is a bit confusing though, mixing his scenarios. Basically I have it coming down to: Bills @Chiefs Texans @Eagles @Redskins Cowboys Dallas Jets Dolphins @Giants Titans @Cowboys Patriots @Bills Chiefs Bills @Raiders Chargers @Ravens Browns Raiders Steelers @Seahawks Colts @Bengals Broncos @Ravens @Browns I think schedule difficulty goes - Steelers > Jets > Bills > Chiefs, and we likely hold tiebreakers on Jets, and Steelers. A win over the Chiefs would be amazing at this point.
  19. Maybe I am just naive, but I have heard a few different places (including Ray Lewis who played for him under Baltimore) make the claim that his defense is complicated and takes a lot to learn. It seems like a cop out, but I don't know why we would hear that excuse from multiple different sources. There has to be some truth to it.
  20. Bridgewater and Carr have yet to be proven to be the answer to their respective teams QB problem. We will see in time with them, just like we are seeing with the "can't fail" Andrew Luck, RGIII, and even Tannehill. I don't think "better than what we have now" is a suitable argument for our QB situation because we would inevitably be in the same spot as those teams that took those "QB Opportunities" - that is not good enough to compete with the elite QB's. I think we will really see a major change in the way teams play after we see Roethlisberger (33), the Mannings (39 and 34), Brees (36), Brady (38), Rivers (33), Palmer (35), Romo (35) retire. That is a quarter of the NFL's starting QB's retiring likely in the next 5 years. And that is if QB's like Matt Ryan (30), Flacco (30), Rodgers (31) don't retire sooner rather than later. College football simply can't produce that number of suitable replacements. It isn't going to happen. Now that I look at it like that, maybe we do need a Carr, or a Bridgewater, because they will likely be the "elite" qb's by default.
  21. I don't believe this because FanDuel and DraftKings have been going on for several years. Suddenly allegations of cheating, and a marketing blitz of hundreds of millions of dollars and NY goes "What a minute? We are supposed to be protecting the brick and mortar gambling industry! " and then proceeds to ban it? Yeah right. More likely the Attorney General is making a name for himself, and proceeding to follow the spirit of the original law. Also NY doesn't depend on gambling revenues outside of the lottery.
