  1. Pittsburgh isn't up a game just yet, and we play the Jets in Week 17. If we won out, we would simply need the Steelers to lose 1 of the next 5. I understand that they are technically up a game, but they pretty much need to win out to control their own destiny. Correction if they won 3 of their next 5 and we won 3 of the next 4 (one being the jets) then our conference records would be tied, and it would go to best win loss percentage of common games. Which plays big into needing them to lose to Indy, or Cinci again. We lost: NE twice KC CIN We won: Indy They lost: NE KC CIN They won: None Unplayed Pittsburgh vs Indy Pittsburgh @ Cincinatti
  2. If you go to the playoff machine and select home team wins, the Bills make it in at 8-8. Then you go through the weeks and realize the teams that the Bills are competing with actually do win games they are supposed to, and there is actually a lot of hope there. Tiebreakers against the Texans, Jets, and Steelers are extremely helpful and are the last 2 AFC games (Jets and Texans) are must wins in that scenario. http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine
  3. Are you sure it wasn't in reference to the Maclin catch? I thought it was in reference to the Maclin catch. That one only had a brief replay of the catch that I had to rewind back to at the next commercial break to prove to the people watching that it wasn't a catch. http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/11/30/9819540/rex-ryan-buffalo-bills-chiefs-challenges-chaplin "On the 37-yarder I wasn't aware because again, I wasn't seeing the video on it," Ryan said. "So from my vantage point, I thought he caught the ball. Obviously I would've challenged it if I would've known there was any question whatsoever on a 37-yard play because it flipped the game. "I've never seen that. That's the first time you don't see any plays. I think there's a league rule where you usually get to see some, but maybe I'm wrong on that." He is wrong on that. While some plays require mandatory in-stadium replays (touchdowns, safeties, fumbles, interceptions, etc.), turnovers on downs and 37-yard receptions are not on that list. According to a statement from the NFL, "each coaches booth is also equipped with a standardized broadcast truck feed, which is provided directly from the instant replay booth." On one close call, Ryan appeared to be told by the Bills team chaplain not to challengea play that was ruled an incomplete pass, although replay appeared to show Bills wide receiver Chris Hogan making a catch. Ryan brushed that off and said the chaplain has no impact on his decision making on challenges and said again on Monday that replay decisions are his own responsibility. Nope.
  4. Would love to know why we don't ever get those huddles that result in a flag being picked up. With us it always seems like a thrown flag is by rule sacred, and it would horrify them to conference about it and pick it up when it's a bad call.
  5. I looked at it again too. At first I thought it was a lack of looking for Watkins in the second half, but it isn't that, especially in the 3rd quarter you can see he is staring Watkins down and sometimes Watkins wasn't open, but there were also some plays where Sammy beats one guy, and just has to worry about the safety, but Taylor goes to another read where Roethelisberger or Romo would've thrown it up there and let Antonio or Dez beat the double coverage.
  6. We got screwed on that one too. And a lot of people complained about that one for the sake of both teams. But even then they enforced it wrongly after the fact.
  7. Oh I agree, the officials are bad across the board, it's not just instances against us, but we certainly feel like we get the brunt of it.. He was definitely wrong, but I am just more disappointed that we have to risk important timeouts to get the right call on such an obvious catch with the official standing right there. My theory is that since the chief player went after the ball, the official concluded that hogan lost possession, and somehow forgot that Hogan tucked the ball, turned, and took a few steps. Also correction - I thought it was our last timeout, but we had 2, so he definitely should've challenged it.
  8. He did notice. They said they were close to challenging it. The hesitation was probably in using the last timeout with 2:39 left in the game. Yes he should of challenged it, but if it was so god damn obvious the refs should have gotten it right too. Now we have to use 1 of 3 challenges on blatant catches (and non catches by the other team!) I guess, but it's all good cause refs make mistakes.
  9. Far more likely to get injured or killed in a car accident than a mass shooting, but 350 mass shootings a year!!! OMG! We are all going to die! Mass panic! We need legislative decisions based out of emotion right now! Not prayers! But honestly not everyone should have a gun, and there should be background checks, but they need to knock of the rhetoric
  10. Just watched the highlight. Isn't any of that O line pushing in the back, and grabbing of arms worthy of a penalty? Or were they finally just letting them play?
  11. Geez. I want to see a highlight of that!
  12. Another blown PI call? I am listening on game pass, can't watch. Sounds like the Lions are getting robbed.
  13. So would I. Kind of wish they weren't rebounding so there would be at least a small chance. Tate's ok for me too! I need someone who has him to win!
  14. I'd like to see a repeat Calvin Johnson performance
  15. Carr. I was wrong last week though so who knows.
  16. Haha, say what you will about those guys, but I felt like this team formed around them. At this point Woods is the senior member of the offense (WR, QB, RB, TE), and these guys have hardly played together. A senior member of the team that gets pumped, or has the leadership of Freddy would put a fire under this team. At least Watkins is putting himself in that position
  17. I was saying after this game this offense needs some chemistry. Need a Fred Jackson or a Stevie Johnson to put some spring in their step.
  18. This is an interesting point. Didn't we lose a couple guys in training camp that rotated in a lot last year?
  19. Probably because we pass more when we are behind (losing). Tyrod may or may not be the answer which is why they should draft someone with potential, but Tyrod is a decent starter to fill the gap. If he gets better, awesome! if he stays the same, then good thing we drafted someone.
  20. Hope everything is well. The mental issues thing is BS though. Mental issues is a thing, and are a reason someone might go ballistic. I am not sure why people cannot distinguish between different threats. These do not need to be lumped together to satisfy some snarky attitude that international terrorism isn't as much a threat as domestic terrorism. As for guns, well we are a culture - with guns. It is time to get over that fact, and assign responsibility to the people who commit acts of violence. Whatever weapon this guy used did not persuade him to do it. Nor did whatever he used to make the bombs, or pipebombs or whatever the freak built.
  21. It's not about comparing the two, It is about saying "Hey look, this guy isn't peyton manning yet, but neither was peyton manning.". I know, I know, the eye test is far superior.
  22. The tower fell on the wall, and walkers were wandering the town. I think she pretty plainly wanted to deal with this situation quickly so she could turn her attention on more pressing matters. The concussion didn't help. A lot of people are pissed about Morgan. I understand this particular wolf is not likable, but at some point in a post apocalyptic world people have to stop killing each other, come to terms with what they've done, and work together to rebuild. You can see this theme in several of the characters story arcs, each one caring about someone who either wronged them, or they have no reason to care for. What emerges from that is a stronger group. This guy is particularly unlikable, and I don't think the audience tolerates Morgan keeping him alive. But again it's a spectrum across most of the storylines. Morgan is one side (all life is precious). Carol is the other side of the spectrum (look at the flowers), and they inevitably clash.
  23. Me too, but it's either him or Stefon Diggs against Seattle. I like Sammy's upside better
  24. Schwartz declined being their HC last offseason. I heard that somewhere anyway.
