I mean I am sure there are quite a few WRs entering their 30's that weren't able to keep up but why are we all acting like Hopkins is old and washed up? Diggs is 18 months younger. Is Diggs old and washed up next year too?

I still don't understand what this means. Struggling in a game or having a close game does not mean spiraling. I gave you the Super Bowl Champs who had many close games last year including nearly losing the #1 seed in a run to OT against the Texans. If you are looking for the Bills to dominate all 20 games a year or its spiraling then keep dreaming because you are looking to be the greatest team of all time. Even the 1972 dolphins had several close games and near misses.

I wouldn't say the Chiefs got stronger. As I said, they struggled against the Chargers, Denver 2x, Houston OT in their last 8 games. The other 4 opponents were the Rams, Bengals (Lost), Seattle, and run for the buses Raiders). They nearly lost more of those games than they dominated in the 2nd half of the season. Playoffs I'll give you. A gimpy Mahomes got it done against a chippy Jaguars team, and Bengals, and Eagles. The question is, would they have been as effective if Kelce or Jones were out from game 9 and through the playoffs? I don't think so.

The Chiefs lost to the Colts, Bills, and were 4 combined points away from losing to the Chargers and Raiders in their 1st 6 games. This isn't mentioning nearly losing to Denver twice, the Chargers again and going into OT against the Texans in the 2nd half of the season and they won the super bowl. Its ridiculous to say "even with x player they weren't doing anything" because X game stretch.

Bills traded with the Vikings in March. Draft wasn't til April. You are relying on 4 teams (Las Vegas Henry Ruggs, Denver Jerry Jeudy, Dallas Ceedee Lamb, Philadelpha Jalen Reagor) to not take Jefferson, let alone any of the other teams that could have taken an WR that didn't but Beane wouldn't know that. You can't possibly claim this is a mistake by Beane. It is a win/win for both teams 1000%. Vikings could have just as easily ended up with Reagor (if they even had him rated that high) or Aiyuk if they were stuck on WR after trading Diggs. They took a risk and it paid off.

I dont think the Bills railroaded Araiza. I think she did. The Buffalo Bills have every right to let the investigation play out and distance their organization from accusations of gang rape and minor sex. Araiza shouldn't assume his employer of 4 months (or 3 days?) needs to go to bat for him and put their reputation at risk under this pressure and serve as a distraction from their ultimate goal. So to win us all over to the side of Araiza (which technically we are), you also need to stop implying that Araiza was wronged by anyone except his accuser and her lawyer.

Think its more so that he has no one to keep him in check. His family lets him like an ass. His employer (if he has any? social media influencer) let's him act like an ass. The law will likely plea him down to basically nothing and allowing him to continue acting like an ass. At some point you just have to cut him off, and if you don't you are enabling him to use your resources to be an ass.

Or you know, don't regurgitate on a forum what you know everyone will know in about 2-3 minutes anyway? Honestly what is the point of listing the name of the pick with no analysis oncesoever? It is just as easy to just not do that or at least provide some substance around the post which then would also give everyone else time to catch up... That's what you are missing.

Guys its pretty straightforward. We sit there watching boring analysts say the same boring token phrases about players and teams for 10 minutes each time waiting for a single ***** pick and some dude on a forum says "its Jahymr Gibbs", when Goodell isnt even on the stage yet. I am not sure how you all don't see how that is less entertaining than seeing it live. Im sure it happens on gameday threads all the time which is partially why i dont look during the game but just imagine the feeling of watching Allen lining up under center, and then looking at your phone and seeing some dude saying "incomplete pass" before he snaps the ball. Its the same thing and it rightly annoys people. Not sure there is a solution though because when can someone say the name or talk about the pick. There is no way to know when everyone is on the same page. The delays on phone streams, cable tv, internet are all different. Yeah this is the a hole side of it. Gotta be first before Goodell even actually announces it in real time.

Thats because at any given time there is always a subset of the Bills fanbase that always whine and cry about everything we do. Although sometime its the opposite fans, I have no doubt some of the people here hating on this pick would be hating on a defensive pick, and others would be hating on a trade up for a wr, and others would be hating on a reach for OL or a WR. Its a crapshoot. Sometimes the fans just have to enjoy the ride and stop bitching.

Bengals could have also been enticing the Jaguars with an offer as well

Everyone complaining about 1st round WRs I am pretty sure there is a lesson out there about putting all your eggs in the 1st round basket while 2nd round wrs turn out to be stars.

I think you misunderstand what I meant. The people saying it isn't going to happen are just as bad as the people who say it is. For the most part, neither side knows either way. It is plausible that Beane is considering it. If it pans out, it pans out, if it doesn't, it doesn't mean he hasn't.

Curious how one gets to the playoffs to even play a game?

Miami split with New England like almost 50/50 between 2013 and 2019 before Brady left and made the playoffs one year. They split with us this past year and didn't win the division. The idea that we are doomed or they aren't scared of us because they can win one game is hugely overstated.
