Or maybe this crusade against the Bills by lawyers seeking a payday by luring former cheerleaders with the thought of a comparably smaller payday is exactly what it looks like, and the Pegula's who have shown no such resistance to paying deserved money out, see the whole picture for what it is. If you think the Jills did this for minimum wage, you are fooling yourself. While the minimum wage laws likely apply in this case, none of them are screaming for joy, because now they are currently out of a job that promoted them into making far more than petty minimum wage.

So tired of hearing people act like we don't understand that they mean with "black lives matter (too)". We get it. The problem we have with it is that you are antagonizing a large group of people into thinking they are some kind of target, that they should be fearful for their lives. No matter how many times you say "black lives matter" though, people won't take you seriously. Because in the realm of unjustified police killings, the very few cases in which it happens deserves an all lives matter. So, no, until you start using your rally cry towards your communities who are consistently killing each other, we won't take you seriously because you aren't taking the problem seriously. You are being racist.

TOD: 7/16: Shady, good trade and contract?
What a Tuel replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shady's value is in line with his skill set. I would not trade him for Doug Martin, Jonathan Stewart, or Lamar Miller even with their contracts to save $2 million per year tops. He is worth it to me. Maybe you think we can get away with Gillislee or Karlos and save cap, but we will have to agree to disagree on that fact. We are better with McCoy. RB Cap hits 2016: Adrian Peterson: 12 million Jonathan Stewart: 9.5 million Doug Martin: 8 million LeSean McCoy: 7.6 million Demarco Murray 6 million CJ Anderson: 6 million Lamar Miller 5.5 million Jamaal Charles: 5.3 million Shane Vereen: 4.9 million Giovani Bernard: 4.6 million RB Cap hits 2017 Adrian Peterson 18 million LeSean McCoy 8.8 million Jonathan Stewart 8.2 million Doug Martin 7 million Jamaal Charles 7 million Lamar Miller 6.5 million DeMarco Murray 6.2 million Chris Ivory 6 million Ezekiel Elliott: 5.6 million Mark Ingram 5.2 million -
Not sure what this guy does, but maybe his patrons don't have a fear that this guy is going to take them to jail. We see it time and time again when idiots run from police. They don't think of the end game, they think of getting away from the law by any means necessary. Which is why I have never understood why wrestling with a cop is considered an even match, and should be treated as such for by the cop. The idiot resisting loses, and he goes to jail. The cop loses and he gets the crap kicked out of him or worse. This is why police need authority. They need to have control of the situation for their own safety and yours. People are unpredictable and it only takes a second.

What's your personal line on Islamist Terror?
What a Tuel replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
How about the global community basically ignore, segregate, sanction, and destroy them economically until they realize that extremism will not be tolerated. Maybe it'll topple "ok" governments sure, or maybe it will keep their insanity and extremism confined to their own messed up countries. If they want to join the global community crack down on extremism, and expand human rights. Until they do, knock them back to the economic stone age. -
What is better, no guns, or more guns?

They are fairly slow at collecting data. I was just curious because it was working a few weeks ago, and pretty much shows the small percentage of "assault weapons" used in murders, and the decline in gun violence since 2010. Kind of flies in the face of all the media and anti-gun rhetoric going around. The paranoid part of me was intrigued by the data's sudden unavailability. It's back now though. -

Oh yeah, I forgot about the $4 million in Shady's dead money for the Eagles. Then they trade Murray away this year for another $4 million in dead money. I mean I know there was a regime change, but yeah, for sure they are the brilliant ones playing the bills. -

Yeah, the eagles were looking to cut McCoy on a non guarenteed 2 years remaining to go out and sign Murray to a 4 year contract. I buy that alright. -

So, we didn't trade for his free agency rights. If there was no trade, he wasn't going to free agency. As for giving him a new contract, we gave a top RB what he deserved. His "commitment" to the contract with Philly? I thought the NFL was a business? How often do teams "honor" the last few years of contracts? -

Why do you do this to us OP? McCoy was under contract through 2017.... -
The problem with this argument is that when you leave the rest of the world to fester and make significant poor foreign policy decisions as Obama has, you get the chaos and bloodshed that is currently going on. Most of these shootings happen when someone doesn't comply, and they either wrestle or try to drive off. The intent to kill just isn't there. However, given the opportunity, I have no doubt ISIS would strike at us consistently and strongly if they could. We must be vigilant and proactive when it comes to terrorism.

Just noticed that the FBI firearm death stats are down. Very curious about that. https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2014/crime-in-the-u.s.-2014/tables/expanded-homicide-data/expanded_homicide_data_table_8_murder_victims_by_weapon_2010-2014.xls -
Yes. This. And this whole race thing with BLM and the police is making these feelings feel justified. Granted there are still prejudices in this country, but it isn't nearly as prominent as the media and BLM are making it out to be, and with regards to the police, it is making people think that they should feel unsafe. When realistically, your chances of these things happening are the following: Being black and shot by cop 0.0006907% Being white and shot by cop 0.0002510% Being hispanic and shot by cop 0.0003407% Being any race and shot by cop while not committing a violent crime 0.0000842% Being struck and crushed by a meteor 0.000143% Having conjoined twins 0.000500%

I don't mind these people fighting for justice for wrongful killings but the campaign of misinformation that they can't walk out of their doors without the potential of getting shot needs to stop. People are believing it, and it is making them dangerous. There is no police brutality epidemic in this country. Are there cases of injustice? Yes, and they should be investigated.

What does mental health issue even mean? Like not able to make decisions? Schizophrenia? Don't you have to be a little lacking in the mental health department if you are willing to drive into a crowd of innocent people with a semi truck to begin with? Aren't suicide bombers mentally ill at this point then?

I get your point, but the term smart technology is meant as a commentary on computer technology being in the product rather than the user's intelligence. The difference between a normal watch, car, phone, and a smart watch, car, phone is the processing capacity of the device. The smart devices are exponentially more powerful. If someone takes it away, it still works once activated doesn't it? It would prevent use after theft, and children getting it though. I still wouldn't trust a child handling it though, so you'd still have to put it out of reach or locked up. -
You've got to be kidding me? Obama is supporting Erdogan? Wtf is his deal? You'd think his foreign experience was limited to organizing communities.

It will certainly be interesting for that first primetime game against the Cardinals.

TOD 7/15: Should player off the field conduct matter?
What a Tuel replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think companies who face bad press, publicity and bad business should feel free to let someone go based on their actions. An individual is responsible for his own actions after all, and if a company wants to part ways, then that is fine. The problem I have with it is the mob mentality of the internet that exerts an unproportional amount of emphasis such as "Well if you employ that person then you must condone such actions". To each their own, but I hate that mob mentality especially in this internet age where no one actually looks at the facts. -
Not sure if you are all aware of the Pokemon Go hype. I am hearing about it and seeing people playing it everywhere I go. I thought this story about a black man who thinks he is at higher risk if he goes outside to play the game and therefore it counts as additional "white privilege." suited this thread. http://archive.is/3M3Ww This is how far the media is spreading this fear and misinformation.
