I count 6 so far unless you have a few more via PM. Also just giving the thread a little bump for attention.

Tom Brady throws more than 30 times a game nearly every game. He is a good QB, I am not sure the correlation translates to Tyrod not being a good QB. Just that Brady is a very good qb. You are essentially pitting a hall of fame QB's record against a QB that no one is comparing to him. There are many QB's in this league that aren't Tom Brady, that doesn't mean their teams are in a bad situation. The 0-5 is a bad comparison. That includes: a Patriots (1) game where Brady threw 59 times to annihilate us a Chiefs game where Tyrod threw for almost 300 yards 3 tds and no ints, a Giants game with no Watkins, or McCoy, a Patriots (2) game where he could've done better. a Eagles game where he could've done better

Sammy Watkins Has a Broken Foot; Ready for Camp?
What a Tuel replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is going to be a major part of this season and it is scary to think about him being out, but critiquing what he is doing outside of practice is simply making wild judgements based on that fear with little information to back it up. Have to put our faith in Sammy, and the medical staff to know what's good for him. Otherwise you are wrapping him in bubble wrap based on your expectations for the season. We are desperate fans, but these players living their lives alongside working is a normal thing. I think we forget that sometimes. Now if it comes out that he was playing basketball against all medical advice, and to the detriment or further risk of his injury or re-injury, then sure critique his judgement, but we have no such evidence. I also believe Sammy wants to be a superstar in the NFL more than you want him to, and consider his judgement combined with the advice of expert medical staff to be greater than our fans fear that he is doing something dumb until proven otherwise. -
Fitz calls his shot -Update Signed w/Jets
What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ryan Fitzpatrick signed a 1 year, $12,000,000 contract with the New York Jets, including $12,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $12,000,000. In 2016, Fitzpatrick will earn a base salary of $12,000,000. Fitzpatrick has a cap hit of $12,000,000 while his dead money value is $12,000,000. Spotrac says this. Where is all of this coming from that it's a potential 2 year deal with the 2nd year being voidable? I think Fitz sticking point was that he didn't want to be stuck in NY in 2017 working for peanuts. -

I am not sure you know what he can or cannot do. Just because you want to wrap him in bubble wrap because you are scared doesn't mean he is going to wrap himself in bubble wrap. It's pretty ridiculous what you guys think athletes should or shouldn't be doing in their free time. -

People are still on the Watkins bashing train? -
When you play 6 games against teams that struggle to have a winning record year to year, and have a knack for losing to you, and going a mediocre 5-5 against the rest of the league still gives you the division. So, yes until the rest of the division picks up the slack and consistently splits with the Patriots or even sweeps them, they will always have the division. Edit: They have lost 7 division games in the last 5 years. Including the one against us that they didn't care to win. Step it up AFC East! Edit2: Those 23 division wins in the last 5 years account for 37% of their total wins.

http://nflplayoffpredictor.com/?L=EwRm5TS9tfaRmJTopfNWwQ7xTDOPOKI43TUq9HW7Ncp6xnWDvVIwki5cnTIRE9BMxGcJkIA A few notes: 1. Of course the Bills win the Super Bowl when I am picking the winners. 2. The Jets have a brutal schedule for a string of games 3. The Packers/Cardinals/Bengals have cake schedules. 4. My picks were quick off the top of my head which made teams I consider decent to drift to the top, while personal bias held some "ok" teams to the bottom 5. I don't think Denver drops quite that far (6-10) after winning the Super Bowl, but I can't decide which games they will lose because of QB. 6. Tried to be fair to the Cheats, and just couldn't hold them from taking the division either. -
Le'Veon Bell facing 4 game suspension

Can't the NFL ban it even if it is legal? What is the rule on this in Colorado? Can any employer still make tests mandatory, and make testing positive a fireable offense? -
Ray Rice - desperate or noble?
What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know, he is 29. We are talking about signing Reggie Bush who I think is done. I think we may both be right though. They probably think his current ability isn't worth any backlash at all. -
Ray Rice - desperate or noble?
What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because he wants to play. That's the point. He isn't offering to give up his salary to a charity out of his good graces. He is saying "Guys, I really want to play, if this awful case of domestic abuse is what is preventing any of you from signing me for fear of public backlash, then I will donate the salary money in order to help smooth over PR relations, I just really want to play" I don't blame the NFL for staying away, but I am not sure they aren't blacklisting him because this is a hugely popular case, whereas other athletes are getting by with suspensions. -
PSE: My One Buffalo App Set to Launch in September
What a Tuel replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Will they disclose the number of notifications they are allowed to send? What will this app do? I saw some of the highlights in the article, but no highlights of sabres/bills games on demand? That is what I really want. -
What is better, no guns, or more guns?
What a Tuel replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Not that it matters but I believe he was only hit once. I could be wrong though. Could this be an effect of the attacks on other police officers? Could they have thought they were being setup? I mean obviously it's no excuse, but shooting when no one has even seen a gun in this situation let alone waving it around isn't exactly standard procedure. -

But no one cares. Because it isn't demographically out of proportion race specific violence.....oh wait...it is. -

What about it? No one says these things don't happen. The point is that there isn't an epidemic. Black people or anyone aren't at risk of being shot when they go outside. Your anecdotal evidence proves nothing. -

idiots. "In the face of utter inaction by Congress, states have a duty to enact and enforce laws that protect people from gun violence. If Washington won’t use its power to get these guns off our streets, we will. Not only do we have the legal authority to do so, we have a moral obligation to do so." Moral obligation to stop 248 assault weapons deaths nationally. For ease let's divide those 248 by the 50 states. So 5 deaths. Restricting millions of people's rights because of 5 deaths. Ok so where's the moral obligation to stop pistol deaths? They account for 111 deaths average per state. What about the moral obligation to help depressed people who plan to commit suicide? They account for 400 deaths average per state. What about the moral obligation to stop knife deaths? They account for 31 deaths average per state. What about the moral obligation to stop blunt object deaths? They account for 9 deaths average per state. What about the moral obligation to stop personal attacks (hands and fists)? They account for 13 deaths average per state. But by all means take down the epidemic of assault weapons deaths that's sweeping the nation, but also allow people to keep their assault weapons so it actually won't do anything at all. !@#$ing idiots. Edit: Added in minor handheld weapons and unarmed attacks which interestingly enough are 10 times that of assault weapons deaths. (2662 unarmed, knife, blunt weapon deaths to 248 rifle deaths) -
Sammy Watkins: 'It will be sad' if Rex Ryan fired

Rex would be railed on for precisely that. But yet they are still in love with Bowles. -

Has anything happened that has made this thread come full circle to the draft argument? -
Not if they are in the same city.

Yeah, hang on a second here. Such disproportions must mean that the French are islamophobes and their police and justice system have a distinct hate, intolerance, and bigotry towards muslims right? I mean disproportions can not possibly be explained in any other manner such as this!
-
I did a mock draft the other day. This year is going to be a little more difficult I think. Too many RB's coming back off of injury, too many player's retiring or just getting old. My leagues this year are switching things up on PPR because WRs are diminishing the value of RB's. However I like PPR, so I gave the leagues the option of knocking PPR to half point, removing it, or giving RB's like .12-.25 points per carry. They overwhelmingly approved giving RB's points per carry. Hope it doesn't backfire. Who is your guy's first round pick? Where do you prefer to pick? PS this fantasy forum needs to be a little more lively!
