Bills tied for #3 in the league in sacks
What a Tuel replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will admit, I was a little envious of the Eagles D when they played the Bears on Monday Night but it was the Bears. But to shutdown Pittsburgh? That's a statement right there. Shutting down Arizona was a statement, but I don't think as large. We will soon see when we play them in December though. -

Well the scheme hasn't changed so maybe Mario standing around wasn't helping? -

Communication Concerns at Foxboro

Thinking the Patriots cheat is not more stupid than thinking Goodell is trying to ruin a football dynsasty. The Patriots cheat and have been proven to cheat or skirt the line of cheating far too many times for it to be considered stupid. -

They made a ing deal with the devil thats what it is, and that's why we can't explain it. They sold their damn souls. -
http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Rex-Ryan-It-was-a-great-team-effort/ed38f3cc-1484-4e6a-8fe6-95b213a8a828 Actual quote in context at 6:45 and 8:45 in the video if anyone is interested in not obsessing over nonsense. A lot of work to do for this team, but we demonstrated some good things yesterday. I start to wonder if the negative nancy's think that their cynicism fuels the rebound of the bills. That's cool and all, but you aren't fun to be around.

Rex's comments? No, they will be the furthest thing from my mind. Only nutty people will go back to this press conference if we lose next week and go "if only Rex hadn't said that" as a reason we lost the game. It is so absurd.

What to do when you have an out on a QB contract next year, and he's throwing 80 yards a game, but you have no replacement.... -
Time to reallign divisions

I was hoping someone would get that one -
I am referring to mobile data and how if ISP's had their way, they would cap ethernet as well. This was in response to someone saying they should be billed on a usage basis like coffee. This isn't about infrastructure, this is a power play for control. The mobile industry did it perfectly with their caps - albeit they at least have some valid reasoning - but not quite good enough reasoning for the gouging they are doing, and are milking consumers dry. It's a cash cow, and equivalent to the "minutes" epidemic of the 90's. They milked that dry too. You don't quite understand that it isn't about streaming. It is about the power of cutting off access to the internet through the monetization of data which the mobile phone industry has perfected and the ISP's envy. If that's what you want because you think it is fair use of the ISP's infrastructure then fine. But realize it isn't because these companies are trying to recoup the cost on their infrastructure, it is a power play to obtain control.

Time to reallign divisions

Excessive, but I have fun with this! Disband all teams and do a complete redraft with the expansion teams. 8 Division Champions plus 8 wildcards 4 in each conference. NFC Coast NFC West NFC South NFC East Honolulu Hawaiians Arizona Cardinals San Antonio Toros Washington Redskins Oakland Raiders Las Vegas Gamblers Dallas Cowboys Baltimore Ravens San Francisco 49ers Seattle Seahawks Houston Texans Pittsburgh Steelers Los Angeles Rams Portland Lumberjacks Kansas City Chiefs Carolina Panthers San Diego Chargers Albuquerque Isotopes Mexico City Aztecs Cincinatti Bengals AFC Coast AFC Midwest AFC Great Lakes AFC South New York Giants Tennessee Titans Toronto Icers Jacksonville Jaguars New York Jets Minnesota Vikings Detroit Lions Miami Dolphins New Englang Patriots Green Bay Packers Buffalo Bills Tampa Bay Buccanears Philadelphia Eagles Indianapolis Colts Chicago Bears Atlanta Falcons London Imperials Denver Broncos Cleveland Browns New Orleans Saints -
Data should never be monetized like this. But hey, if you believe the mobile internet landscape is amazing then all the power to you. It is anti everyone except the telecommunications companies who have everyone under their thumb. "Hey you only have a 2gb data limit, but we partnered with Netflix so you can stream all you want from the providers we tell you to!" If you don't see a problem with this, then I don't know what to tell you. They are the providers of access to the internet, not to be confused with the gate keepers of what we can utilize the internet for.
-
Hogging their resources? We are all paying customers to these companies even the evil large Netflix. That would be like paying for one of those apps, and the developer saying, whoa, whoa, whoa, you are using this app way too much. You need to pay more than everyone else because we have had to increase server load because of you. If the ISP's want to raise the price of internet at any point they can to offset the increased costs across the board. However they won't because this isn't about costs, it is about a power play on both ends. On one end to control what a paying customer "Netflix" gets what speeds (aka did you pay your protection money today?). And on the consumer end, capping data to ensure Customers are filtered through their own affiliates. They are trying to turn the internet into some distorted version of cable television because they are losing their grip on cable television as a result of the internet.

You can almost see the political manipulation by Ted Cruz, trying to apply the very popular anti politically correct movement to support his political motivations. He might as well say "The left is trying to take control of the internet because they don't want you to say hateful or bigoted things"
-
I'm arguing because you make little sense, and most arguments against net neutrality and ICANN are contradictory tin foil hat conspiracies. But I see this is going nowhere when one side believes they are all knowing, and gets frustrated when others don't see things precisely the way their expert minds do.
-
I didn't say ICANN runs the internet. I said ICANN is the way it has been run for awhile, meaning ICANN has done what they do for years now. And honestly, if you think I was truly quoting Ted Cruz as someone who knows what's going on, then there needs to be sarcasm font, as I have already called him an idiot in this thread. As I already stated, I am confused by what you believe. You responded to an article saying "Yet there will remain people who stubbornly maintain that there was no federal takeover of the internet." What do you mean by this in the context of that article you responded to?
-
I ask because you replied sarcastically to a post reportedly saying that we are taking away regulatory authority of the internet from the US Government by freeing up ICANN. So you are ok with this then? ICANN has also been the way the internet has been run for many many years, and as Ted Cruz states “Under the guardianship of the United States and the First Amendment, the internet has truly become an oasis of freedom,” Right?
-
So which is it? Does the federal government have control of the internet or not? Do you want the federal government to have control or not?

Rodgers stinks. We will take him off their hands for the low low price of a 2nd round pick. We might be willing to reach with a 1st. -
Are the Pegula's meddling owners?
What a Tuel replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He had a huge role in the search for Buddy Nix because he was the former GM and transitioned to CEO at that point. Q: You mentioned Buddy will handle the football side. Where does the head coaching search fit into that? RB: It’ll be a team effort and Buddy will lead the team. Edit: He says this when he was in complete control. And you think he had more power to choose Rex Ryan in the midst of Pegula's and Whaley's opinions? It had to be more of a consensus than anything. Even with Whaley on the fence. -

"I am going to be real clear about one thing because I know you are going to ask it. I will not be drafting people. I will not be making the final decision on a free agent. I will empower the general manager, Buddy Nix, to do that. Do I have final authority and say? Yes. That is what Buddy Nix, the general manager, does. He identifies personnel. He runs that side of our operation. OK? I cannot be any clearer than that." -

You haven't given valid reasons outside of him being a "yes" man. Outside of Rex Ryan, what other evidence do you have? -

What do you mean where do we draw the line? Either they have authority or they don't. If you are referring to terry stops, well the court gave police that authority. We are a society of laws. If you feel your rights are being infringed then challenge them in the court of law. You will certainly make out better than resisting and maybe richer. There is no concerted effort of police to shoot civilians.
