  1. Can't believe they are even fighting this. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000713893/Patriots-90-yard-first-play-called-back
  2. Oh, I had to scroll. The link just takes you to the first article discussing starting Hoyer or Cutler, one you scroll past that you see the trade speculation. Thanks! Edit: This is the blog that just keeps giving. Drunk fans throwing a helmet at Jerry Jones to autograph and presumably accidentally hitting him in the head.
  3. where does Miami come into this? I must be missing something.
  4. You guys had a similar one in "this loss is going to help us" on your forum. http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/we-needed-this-loss.1133916/ Shouted down the same way as ours haha.
  5. Trying to find the clip but google is failing me, and the NFL doesn't usually release injury videos by themselves. I think it was against the Houston Texans in December
  6. I'm not upset at all. I'm laughing at your fans calling our guys thugs because your players were breaking the NFL rules (again), and yet again your fans blame everyone else for not accommodating said rule breaking.
  7. I'm not criticizing Gilmore's play at all outside of this tackle attempt. He needed to wrap the guys legs up to trip him up or something. He definitely whiffed on the tackle though. Edit: If you slow it down to .25 speed on youtube, it looks much worse too. Not a huge deal. We still won, and hopefully he will be coached up on what to do in that scenario.
  8. Ok yeah, that was a bit of an ole' haha.
  9. Yep Patriots fans, that is an excellent excuse, and it has worked for you before. "We broke the rules because it is what we always do, what is the problem? Tom Brady always does it." Its priceless. http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/league-reviewing-%E2%80%9Call-aspects%E2%80%9D-of-pregame-scuffle-in-foxboro.1133917/
  10. I wouldn't call what you or the NNN's have done is ever "waiting and seeing". Consistent fire this guy, fire that guy, we will be 2-14 predictions, tank, etc On the other hand, there is optimism in beating a divisional opponent in their house. Our players played very well, and if they keep it up, we will be competitive. I don't think anyone has made quite the same claims as above though. (ex we will be 14-2, superbowl or even playoffs). Admittedly, most agree the wildcards are going to be very difficult to secure this year. This thread is as close to it gets in praising Whaley.
  11. any video on this yet? Someones gotta have the NFL pass to make a clip?
  12. True, you are cocky into the 4th, and we are always looking over our shoulder when Brady is in. He has stolen too many wins from us. That 2009 Monday Night game still pains me. Up 24 to 13 with 6 minutes left. Brady drives down and scores 2 tds to win it. Of course I am bias but I look at our circling the wagons as a never give up til the end thing, whereas I find Affleck's reaction to it as "meh, we will win"
  13. It certainly is. And Ted Cruz's unfounded, and baseless reaction to this for some type of political points against Obama or something makes me question everything else he is "for". He plays far more political games than average politicians including extrapolating unfounded points about NASA funding that I posted earlier. I know this will be unpopular, and I am no democrat, but Ted Cruz is a less obvious version of Trump, in that they have no substance behind them. The statements and issues that they bring to the table are simply there to trigger people into voting for them. They are not based in facts or even reality, a good portion of the time.
  14. There's a thread for it, but it is funny! It must be nice to be all nonchalant about losing when you are a Patriots fan. "in the third?" (eh we will come back, we always do) "in the fourth?" (wtf)
  15. Not touchy, we just don't care that you were missing Brady, which you mentioned several times in 3 pages. It isn't a valid excuse. You were also critiquing our 16 points, well missing our best offensive player may have had something to do with that. But I'll go with we had the game in hand. Although we got a ton of pressure on Brissett, missing Dareus may have interrupted the timing of those "wide open" throws that he missed. My post had everything to do with your posts throughout the thread, and not that I am being "touchy". We both fielded the teams on the field that we could, and ours beat yours. Our excuses are only responses to your excuses.
  16. Rob Ryan probably had something to do with this.
  17. Wide open receivers? Let's talk about the potential best player on our team going to IR. Or that the best player on our defense being suspended just like Brady. We don't care that you had to deal with a rookie QB. We deal with that constantly, and we get no slack when you dominate.
  18. Won't someone think of the lost keystrokes from these prepared statements? I mean come on One Bills Drive, they had their complaints typed out and prepared for release! I guess someone forgot to put it on the Patriots bulletin board.
  19. I certainly do. It will be interesting to see Myles Jack in action though. That said, poor Jaguars. Not only are they stuck on the "London every year" circuit, but they have to play their home division game against the Colts there. I'd be pissed if they did that to us for the Patriots.
  20. Shady is the core of our offense right now, especially with Sammy Watkins out. The Watkins deal was fine, trying to give any QB we have the tools to be successful. People hold up the rest of that WR class, but a lot of them have missed more time, or simply aren't as good despite their fantasy football crushes on them. Bryce Brown I agree with. Sometimes GM's miss though. Clay is currently the 7th highest paid Tight End on average salary, and we currently spend 14th in the league at the Tight End position. I think Bills fans need a little self control.
  21. Why do you think they cut Fitz and took the dead money hit? Do you think they acquiesced to pressure from fans? Unless there is something I don't know about his bonuses or something, it makes little football sense outside of them looking foolish for giving him the contract. They should have definitely kept him despite our whining, and drafted a QB to sit behind him for at least a year. We can agree that Kolb was definitely a poor plan, but they didn't expect to go into that season with Manuel, Tuel, and Lewis I don't think it was panicking more than desperate struggling to hit on a QB.
  22. Maybe they are but then they are wrong. They weren't content to go into the season with EJ Tuel and Lewis. They planned for Kolb. Things happened, and I provided the 2013 list of free agent qbs. It is barren of anyone worthy of mentioning. Note Kolb was injured on August 3rd, so this list is even smaller by then (Hoyer was signed in May) Matt Moore Tarvaris Jackson Jason Campbell David Garrard Josh Johnson Byron Leftwich Brady Quinn Vince Young Matt Leinart Rex Grossman David Carr Derek Anderson Drew Stanton Chase Daniel Brian Hoyer Charlie Batch Bruce Gradkowski Kellen Clemens Tyler Thigpen Josh McCown Sage Rosenfels Seneca Wallace Donovan McNabb A.J. Feeley Troy Smith Luke McCown Chris Redman John Beck Jordan Palmer J.P. Losman Kevin O'Connell
