Oh knock it off. Miami fans think they are going to win out. Think about that for a second. Miami fans.
I'm with you OP, I watch the whole season, not just when we are sure to win. I enjoy the fight to make the playoffs. Its part of the damn game. Guarantees are for
Steelers loss to the Browns would be nice.
I agree on the Ravens losing to the Cowboys
I also agree on keeping both the Titans and Colts down when facing each other, but they both gotta lose sometime to keep them away from that wildcard
Bills over the Bengals of course
Bucs over the Chiefs too. I agree this is a longshot
I don't consider Miami much of a threat to the wildcard, but yeah losing to NFC teams like the Rams is a good thing.
I say let the Texans win and secure that AFC South Title and keep the Raiders down. (This is also a longshot though)
Haha, North Tonawanda is a suburb of Buffalo right next to and along the Niagara River between Niagara falls and north of Tonawanda/Kenmore/Buffalo
I always thought you were from the area? Where are you located then?
There is a very specific way the AFC West has to win/lose to all get to 11-5. Chances are it won't happen. They will likely have better AFC records than us though.
Chiefs:
Tampy Bay
Denver
Atlanta
Oakland
Tennessee
Denver
San Diego
Broncos:
BYE
Chiefs
Jaguars
Titans
Patriots
Chiefs
Raiders
Raiders:
Houston
Carolina

Kansas City
San Diego
Indianapolis
Denver
Got my point though so I'm happy!! AFC Team can lose now.
Edit: Ok I'm not sure you understand how this works Manning. I said the AFC team can lose now.
What was he thinking?
They are usually one and done QB's. Hot for a year or so and then fall off the radar. You may be simply thinking of the 2012 draft (Wilson, Cousins). I can't think of many notable middle round starting QB's outside of that draft year going from 2010 to 2014 (2015-2016 too soon to tell)
I've done this before because this topic has been remade 700 times.
Patriots:
Cardinals 4-4-1 (Don't count)
Dolphins 5-4 (Don't count)
Texans 6-3 (Counts a little?)
Browns 0-10 (Don't count)
Bengals 3-4-1 (Don't count)
Steelers 4-5 (Definitely doesn't count, they played their 2nd string QB!!)
And lost to the Seahawks when it came up to a challenge. And of course lost to the Bills.
In all reality, the Patriots have only beaten 2 winning teams all year. The remaining 4 teams combine for 11 wins or 2.75 wins per team. What scrubs.
Just because you can take someones words and envision some hidden meaning behind them does not mean they suddenly take on that meaning. Have you never heard a woman joke like that?
The problem with centralized review systems is the conspiracy theorists have a field day of where the call was coming from. Not sure how people take it in Hockey, but it would be a worse fiasco if a faceless man made a game changing call in football.
Not saying that was his plan. I am saying he saw an opportunity to rough up the kicker before kicking the next attempt. I don't know what to tell you if you don't think that was his thought process, and that he really thought he was Flash Gordon in the backfield almost before the ball got to the holder.
No. Rex was talking back to him. He is the only one that told the media what he said and that was "you are too good a player to act like an ass". Otherwise you don't know what was said.
I was pointing out the synonyms. Often times words are not used precisely for their definition. Sherman was acting like a thug. Rules don't apply, and staring in the face of authority (a head coach) in a challenging fashion when said head coach hadn't done or said anything.
I still can't imagine why 5 refs couldn't get together and say "let's get this right". Especially assuming Rex was making his case to them. I know they shouldn't be swayed by players or coaches, but a "hey, he's got a point, let's talk about this" should be in order right? I feel like they do it for intentional grounding...
After the game, Ryan relayed an exchange he had with Sherman following a third quarter interception.
"He's mean-mugging like he's always doing and whatever," Ryan said. "It was a ridiculous play, no question. Then he's over on the sideline basically taunting us, so I had some words. I think I said 'You're too good a player to act like an ass.' "

1:20 seconds in. Not sure if it has the angle you want.
Here's a better one:
