  1. Don't you worry, they are jumping off bridges here in the 'Burgh' this morning, and there are a lot of them to choose from in this town. I have been watching them float down the Allegheny and Mon rivers all morning. This is the best time to be living here, the rest of the season is pure hell, but when they don't make the playoffs, that's when the fun really starts.
  2. Agreed. See above and below. This board has a collective long memory! I am guilty of going where I shouldn't on past replies, so I guess if I am gonna give it, I have to take it too. I don't wear my Kiko Alonso jersey, it wears me! I might have to scan and post my receipt. You guys are ruthless. Now you soms of britches will have me scared to wear the dam thing.
  3. That's the problem with this site, we go right there, right to the gutter. Keep up the good work. No, it did not cost me any blowies. I guess, forgetting about the bj for a jersey story, I walked right into this one. I did not realize that TBD had this many registered sex offenders. Nobody wants to see that! Yikes!
  4. That's funny, inappropriate, but funny!
  5. Well, I was trying to post my new Kiko Jersey, but am having technical difficulties. For now, you can rest assured, it made my Christmas.
  6. What else is there to say, other than I can wear this with pride now here in the "Burgh"
  7. I like the fact that we are out there not taking crap, playing with an edge, passion, intensity, whatever you want to call it, it has been missing for a long time now with this team.
  8. It comes with it's own rapidly closing hole.
  9. "Look son, the male Buffalo has returned to propagate the herd. I will explain later."
  10. I realize that sometimes things become worse than originally anticipated, and maybe he did not want to tip his hand, but Marrone sure sounded dismissive about the injury on Monday.
  11. Heads will roll off shoulders from laughing at us.
  12. Great, great story and news for him. I really hopes that he makes, at any level, I will be following his progress.
  13. I really like our home schedule, especially if we get either the Steelers or Browns. Payback time. I also like the fact that we play SD and KC at home too. Denver and possibly Houston will be tough road games, one of those will prob. Be the Thurs. night game, guessing Denver? I think that we will be catching the NFC north at a good time, and as someone already alluded, I am thinking that will be Thanksgiving-Detroit. I am thinking prob. Minny in Toronto. Maybe get a Mon. Home Game, Pack or Steelers? I predict we play only two teams coming off byes and we go 10-6, with six or seven home wins.
  14. I done told you guys that we should have drafted Johnny Football!
  15. Man for a minute there I was contemplating checking the internet to see if they had legalized in Fla. already. When you stated that you hate bud, I realized that you were talking about beer.
  16. "Doug, I am wearing Bills stuff and being abused badly, please help" Or "Got Patience"?
  17. Oh brother, are you serious? Swampland-Florida, anybody? Let me see, where do I start: 1.stop manipulating the scheduling. I understand scheduling div. opponents at the end of the season, ok, I can handle that. Stop making us open against one too, we should be playing a non-conf. opponent to open. Quit scheduling bye week inequities. 2. stop worrying about securing marquee match-ups, don't force these anymore, let things happen. 3. market teams more, and individuals less, this is a team sport. 4. stop steering players (free agents) to more desirable locales for the Leauge. 5. stop inconsistent and bias enforcement of the rules, and while your at, get rid of some too, stupid ones. 6. stop worrying about the globalization of your product, you make enough money already, we don't need a watered down League, and it only hurts the small market teams. 7. tell the officials to stop babying certain marquee players Ok, the NFL is not as bad as baseball, but they aren't that far behind, and we can see where all of this is headed. Baseball is a joke with the inequities, and so is the NFL, they just do a better job of masquerading things. Btw, not specifically directed at you, but I am not a troll. Some of this is meant to be tongue in cheek, but some seriousness to it to.
  18. Thanks man, that was big of you!
  19. I think that Buffalo, Cleveland, San Diego, Minnesota, Detroit, you probably can't pull in Pitt or GB, but other low market teams like Jacksonville, Oakland, should push for succession from the NFL. These teams have very little chance year after year, I might be forgetting someone. Maybe the fans of these teams can form some sort of alliance and boycott the Not Fair Leauge. We could bring them to their knees and either force fairness or we go. Who would they have to pick on then? It would really throw their whole world in to a tizzy. Oh, they may throw us a bone every once in a while, but we will never eat at the same table as the other fair haired teams. Our Leauge, due to disgust and mistrust still surrounding the old Leauge, catches on and thrives. We bring back football they way football was supposed to be. We would have enough for prob. two divisions and some sort of championship, which everyone would actually have a shot at. We become so wildly successful that the old Leauge has to recognize us, and wants to start scheduling cross Leauge games. We beat their Super Bowl Champs, against all odds, and the rest is history. We allow them to come into our Leauge in some sort of a merger, but we keep our Leauge name, and fail to recognize any of the past accomplishments, stats and records of the old NFL. Sound familiar? Who is with me! We can do this. Maybe we enlist Facebook or some other form of social media to get this rolling!
  20. The refs are all celebrities now. I can remember not that long ago either, when the refs we're almost invisible. Now we know all sorts of things about them, what they do for a real living, what there families are like, how much they can bench press, where the hail from, etc... Then we have to sit there during games on pins and needles awaiting a ruling on something that they couldn't get right in the first place, followed by lengthy lame explanations of why they are screwing your team. They really are not to concerned about getting it right the first time, they know that they have this safety net called instant replay and review, oh sure they may get downgraded, but unless it is something really egregious, do any of them ever get fired, like you and I might be for such shoddy performances? Way too much face time for my liking and way too much of a focal point in games. They need to start downplay them, and take the game out of their hands more. I think that it all started with Red Cashen, who by the way, probably refereed about ten years too long, and his infamous "first dawn" bark, only to be perpetuated by Hoculi and the like. I still see way too many overweight silver haired ones out there trailing plays all red faced huffing and puffing. Not trying to discriminate, but there is a reason why they call fighter pilots young guns.
  21. What about them awarding an interception to Tampa when the ball seemed to be rolling in the ground maybe mid third quarter. They have enough cameras rolling but I guess did not have enough of them to record that?? This was a fairly critical point in the game.
  22. Really, the ball was touched by NE before it went ten yards. I would deem that as flawless execution by the refs.
  23. If nothing else, the guy is exciting, no dis to Thad, but do we really have a legitimate back up QB? Open competition next year, we can find some needed values thru FA and the draft. Our wr's should be better next year, let's not waste any more time trying to find out if EJ is gonna be the man, make him prove it next year in training camp.
