  1. He has been to the super bowl. If he has a solid run game and a good team around him, I think he can be effective.
  2. The AFC is alarmingly good right now. I’m definitely not optimistic on the #1 seed just being handed to us. So it’s: bills, chiefs, raiders, broncos, chargers, browns, bengals, ravens, titans, Indy, pats(?), steelers(?) it’s crazy.
  3. Under. Teams are going to shift on us and run more to keep Josh off the field.
  4. Cheap rotational players who know the system.
  5. I wonder how that works for the player. Typically bonuses are taxed higher at capital gains. Do they take a hit because of this?
  6. You know who else didn’t have solid TEs? The Rams and the Bengals. How’d they do?
  7. On a less stacked offense? Hahah wtf are you talking about?
  8. Who never won a super bowl. Who isn’t from a team that’s our arch rival. Who wasn’t ring chasing. Who took a chance on a burgeoning team. Why is this so hard to understand? Your loyalty blows. Just plug the team with whatever super star you need to say you won the super bowl, regardless of whose on it. Make it the NBA.
  9. What happens if Josh goes down? Or Edmunds? Or Beasley? Let’s sign Brady, Hightower and Edelman.
  10. We’re talking as if we didn’t have one of the best passing offenses in the league last year. Like we have this huge hole at TE.
  11. If you don’t go with your guys who got you there, what’s the point of a team? Stacking your roster feels cheap.
  12. Is it somehow better that the view will be we needed the patriots hall of fame te to win the super bowl? I want to celebrate with guys that have been here and put together not a ring chaser from our biggest rival.
  13. I wouldn’t watch a team with him on it and I’m dead serious. Don’t buy championships when you already have the pieces.
  14. So if one team receives the ball and gets it at the 25 and has to punt to the other team but pins them inside the 5, they both had ample opportunity?
  15. Just play the full quarter. It’s very very simple. What if neither team scores? Do they each get another possession? Or just sudden death after that?
  16. They’re definitely putting entertainment over competition. This was going to happen. The NFL wants to grow rapidly and the path to that growth is making the actual game just a piece of the puzzle. More player interviews, mic’d up segments, talking heads arguing on every station, podcasts, legalized gambling, prime time matchups, YouTube channels breaking down plays, players on social media, teams social media accounts/video production, extended coverage on releasing schedules. It’s an ecosystem of entertainment. It’s only going to continue to grow outside the boundaries of the actual game. As long as views, clicks, likes, jersey sales, ad revenue is up, they’re going to continue to back burner the actual game.
  17. It’s because I have squares haha. Otherwise I would never even notice the clock.
  18. Why does the clock continue to run after you’re out of bounds?!
  19. Not only are these songs 30 years old, the lyrics were in response to the very very well documented corruption of LAPD in the early- to mid-90s. Kinda different from a racist sports team name. But false equivalency will make you feel more righteous. here’s some light reading: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rampart_scandal
  20. Last week: McDermott outcoached the great belichick! We are the Beasts of the East. this week: Mcdermott needs to go along with the whole front office. The overreactions are embarrassing. He built the entire team culture. Every year 31 teams don’t have a successful season. We just happened to play the best team in the league in the division round. Calm down.
