  1. John Brown is on 88% of fantasy teams on Yahoo! Sports. People know who he is. Let's stop with the inferiority complex for a second.
  2. Yes, he's getting better. Also, 17 drops is unacceptable.
  3. I used to live in Boston, and BB used to have a show on local TV on Saturdays where he broke down plays from the previous week. The guy’s a genius and his attention to detail is unmatched.
  4. Everyone’s praising Lamar Jackson today(deservedly so) as the patriots king killer and best in the bunch of the QBs in his draft. Yet, 163 yards and a TD. Do you want shiny stats or wins?
  5. Yeah. the Pats have had no qualms about mowing down the AFC East for the last 20 years for 5 to 6 wins.
  6. I think fans need to stop and take a step back and realize this team was 6-10 last year. We’ve already equaled our total wins by week 8 and lost to the Pats by a blocked punt. Give it time. This years probably a close wild card game. And next year? Maybe our division.
  7. this is a good game for him to clean up his play and move the ball.
  8. Yeah these professional athletes aren’t playing with enough intensity because their coach isn’t yelling at them enough. They’re like I can take this play off because coach is a nice guy and won’t mind.
  9. If he blames the previous admin it looks like an excuse. If he blames Beane, it strains relationships. If he blames himself, he looks incompetent.
  10. Here take our bad DL and give us a good one. Deal?
  11. I love how you put “gain experience” in quotes, as if there’s another way to do it aside from waiting. “Gain immediate and absolute experience in 1.5 years”
  12. Oh you mean our second year qb who is 5-2 and missed a quarter of his rookie season? Got it. Thanks for the overreaction. We need to teach Josh how to play middle linebacker or we need to cut ties with him. One or the other.
  13. How do you adjust to an O line manhandling you? Also, was it just me or did it seem like there were a lot of dropped passes yesterday?
  14. Your uppence will come soon, and the Pats fans will disappear into the sea when Brady and BB leave.
  15. Who said the defender is blitzing off that edge? That's for the QB to read pre-snap. Also, there's always someone rushing the edge when you run a Jet Sweep.
  16. you beat the cover 0 with screens, Jet sweeps, play actions and lots of pre-snap motion. Also, you need to keep a RB in the backfield. The Jets kept going empty backfield, which is a recipe for disaster.
  17. What we really need is a fast WR who can get downfield to block while Josh scrambles head first into the secondary.
  18. The pre-snap penalties are a feature not a bug. It means Gore can gain the same 5 yards twice.
  19. I agree with this. The Jets D came out yesterday NOT aggressive. They weren't sending extra rushers. I almost think they tried the Bills approach of keeping everything in front of them. Unfortunately they don't have the personnel for that, nor is it their identity. They wanted to keep it close and it backfired immensely. The Pats get you to play their game, not yours.
  20. How many more points, though? Like, what in your mind is enough points? Of the 23 teams ahead of us in Points Scored, 10 are at or under .500. The top 3 Points Against? 6-0, 6-0, 5-1. I'll take the stellar D with the average Josh. Many teams would kill to have just one. Unfortunately, the Pats have both (again).
  21. Yes, by a long shot. We still get to play Pitt (2-4), Wash (1-6), Miami (0-6), Jets (1-4), Browns (2-4), Broncos (2-5). A combined 8-29 for six upcoming opponents. That's 11 wins. We're the team that gets a solid wild card and then a proven team beats the brakes off us.
  22. Everyone wanted this big coming-of-age game from Josh. I don't understand it. As if, he doesn't throws for 300yds and 3TDs, he's not the QB of the future. We should be focusing on the fact that many times this season, when the game's on the line, he does what it takes to win. That's a bigger attribute I want in a QB than a stat line. A guy who doesn't get down because of mistakes and fights through and gets the W.
